  1. I'm new to the show. Yes, just because of JA. I was tempted to catch up on the storyline but didn't and after reading here, am glad that I didn't waste my time. I loved him as Dean Winchester and stuck through to the very end, despite the horrible storylines, just for him and his character. I was looking forward to seeing him in other things. I was already a casual viewer of "The Boys" so I loved when he appeared on them but they wasted his character at the end. I watched this episode to see what this show was going to do with him and I have mixed feelings. It was good to see him acting again but if all he's going to be is eye-candy, love interest, I think I'll pass, especially with not so great writing. He is good for so much more than that. Sorry, but I'm really hoping for some psycho Tom Hannigar hiding beneath Beau Arlen. I wonder if it's that kind of show. OR if it's possible to be.
  2. I don't see much left but more of the same in season 4. Nothing changed this whole season except now they need to save Dean, oops, Butcher from dying. LOL!
  3. I don't know what was wrong with my editor but if SB gets out, I'll be all for him going after the Boys for their duplicity, esp. Butcher. I know HL won't trust him again but I'd be okay with SB picking them off one by one secretly at the end. Unfortunately, Kripke is big on listen to what I'm telling you more than what I show you on the screen. He always has been. IMHO, I thought SB was definitely the lesser of the evils but we weren't supposed to think abt it, just listen to what the other characters were telling us, esp MM and SL who I don't enjoy on this show. Too much morality shoved down my throat in a world that doesn't have any. SB will remain on ice until EK wants that audience boost again or the series finale because he's not ready for HL to go away yet. Mallory doesn't trust SB enough to let him go until nuclear is the only option and maybe not even then, depending on how long the series goes on. Whatever, it was fun being introduced to the character. He was a dick and a product of his time that left him behind. Just wish I'd seen more of him. Kimiko and Frenchie are cute. They need their own show. Their whole sequence in the lab was idiotic and unbelievable. They/Their romance doesn't really belong here, IMO. Just slowing things down.
  4. I completely agree with this. It would've been so much better.
  5. Actually, it's on all of them as they all thought that SB was the worse danger than HL and went out of their way to focus on him while Maeve was the only one who saw clearly and she was the one who paid the price. Plus, I don't understand why Butcher was trying to protect Ryan from being depowered. That would have been the best thing for the boy and would've removed HL's affinity for him. They all had plotonium stupidity.
  6. I guess that serves me right for thinking Kripke could do any kind of justice to any of JA's characters justice. Hopefully, JA will get better roles that I can enjoy him in. At least he seemed to have fun doing it. So disappointed right now. I hope there is more depth to his Big Sky role. Maybe reading others' comments will make this less disappointing and Butcher less of a c.
  7. Personally, I have a harder time believing there was a serviceable heart left in BH after the mush that was made out of him. That, IMHO, was just a mindf*ck for A-Train for stepping out of line.
