  1. Actually, I think Ron blinked and Fluke is no longer Bill Eckert.  The anvils were just too on-the-nose today.  And I don't think they brought up the long-lost sister for nothing.  It'll be her son or some such garbage.

Old son, if that's who they're aiming for.

  2. OMG, do you know how much I long for a Days Sami/Lucas type of relationship on GH!? The show could have done it with Carly/AJ but nooooo

Please, don't even mention that ship.  It still hurts my heart.

I did love David and Anna....what's VI doing these days??

Don't put that out in the universe.  I mean, I'd be all for David Hayward, or even just VI, coming to GH, but not with this crew in charge.  No way in hell.

I mean, no. But as long as Teresa Castillo Ryan Paevey is still employed at GH, everyone should get a chance

I had the joke running through my head at three this morning about FrankenRon getting male head shots from Fruit of the Loom.

  3. Dude, I think Ron blocked me on twitter. All I did was ask him why Sonny only got 30 years for murdering AJ. I said worse when Sonny murdered AJ. I said worse just on like random days. I've been trying to get blocked for a year.

You question the Great One, of course he's blocked you!

Right before Johnny left for prison, didn't  he give his half of the HS to Starr a character who no longer exists so I wonder who owns that half now.

I just love all these loose plot points that can never be resolved.  Thank you PP!

  4. Here's a UO that could be a dealbreaker for all of you here:

No matter how bad the Love in Maine shit was, Molly and Starr bonding as friends during that time period was actually pretty cute and sweet.

    **prepares to die**

I don't deny they were adorbs.  They had a good rapport working together.  And with the added scenes with Todd, I thought they were going with that to get Todd and Blair back.  Also, it was the closest I had seen of Starr Manning as she was as a child in a long time.

  5. Those very nice Todd/Blair NYE scenes made me wonder what the rest of the canvas was doing that New Year's Eve.

I then recalled that, ugh, most of the canvas was looking on aghast...I mean, with love...at Rex and Gigi getting married.

That made me think about how I hated that they got OLTL's last wedding.

But then I realized that, thanks to the reboot, OLTL's last wedding was actually Todd and Blair retying the knot.

    Full circle!

One of the best things about PP OLTL-reuniting TnB!

One of the bad things about PP OLTL-never seeing the damned wedding!!!  Oh well,

  6.

The Mikkos actor really kills it, too. I can't believe he makes it work but he does.

John Colicos...He had a wonderful history of playing baddies...Balthazar on the original Battlestar Galactica; a Klingon, first an adversary of Kirk's then a friend of Jadiza Dax's and Worf's, on Star Trek and DS9.  I always had the dream of bringing him  back after the Natasha reveal and rehabbing him, setting it as if he were forced to create the weather machine, et al, because of Helena to protect his daughter.

I'm of two minds, which is not unusual. I do think that Ron wanted Patrick and Sabrina to work as a couple, and that he tried too hard to sell them. TWOP was really the only place where I posted before this, and the more Ron worked to sell the pairing, the more the posters there resented/hated Sabrina. Not Patrick who, let's be honest, doesn't have the greatest track record as a boyfriend or husband, and due to Jason Thompson's IMO extremely lackluster performance during the majority of his time with her, Patrick barely seemed interested in Sabrina except as a babysitter with benefits. A few people even said that if he was tanking the material, then they didn't blame him because it was a horrible story and because Thompson was the vet and deserved more focus than he was getting, instead of the newbie pet.So in some ways it kind of lends credence to the idea that Patrick won't be accepted with anyone other than Robin.

OTOH, there's been relatively little backlash against Sam (or Kelly Monaco, for that matter) since Samtrick got started. Of course, Patrick has been actively lying to Sam pretty much from the jump, as opposed to his benign, if tepid, feelings towards Sabrina. I have the feeling that that will change if Robin does ever return, but for now, the griping is mostly aimed at him. I don't know if Ron just doesn't realize how awful Patrick looks right now, not that he's ever come off as awesome in the past, or if he does realize it and is just so determined to tell the story he wants to tell that he doesn't care about collateral damage. I am glad that Patrick is finally getting the raking over the coals (from viewers, if nothing else) that he so richly deserves, but at the same time I sort of feel sorry for Teresa Castillo, because it turns out that it really must have been just her that people hated.

In regards to Samtrick, I think my issue was, this is where the story should have gone in the first place, with no detour through Sabrina.  She was unnecessary to start with for Patrick.  Patrick and Sam, however, coming together with maybe blame first than in friendship and romance, worked on more levels and was a better launching pad for what stupid fucking quad Ron was going to go to with Jason and Robin back.

Ron really has a bad track record of putting together couples who make no sense.  I liken Purina to just a nicer Tomas/Blair from OLTL.  It made no logical sense for Blair to be with the man responsible for kidnapping and switching Todd, yet Ron, as the end was winding down, put it out there wondering if Tomas would be freed and get back to Blair.  And, it made no sense that Patrick would fall for tween Sabrina, and even less when it was said she's had LOTS AND LOTS of sex.

    Best Secret: Sonny Killed AJ

Um, it's not a secret when half the town knows before the son of the victim finds out last.  I mean, by the time the truth was out, Sonny, Ava, Shawn, Carly, Franco, Kiki, Morgan, they all knew.

"The only was for a secret to be kept as such is for two people to know, and one of them is dead"  (paraphrased)

  9. First of all, about frickin' time someone (and how wonderful that it was geeky Lucas!) mentioned "Highlander"!!  Heehee, loved it.

Second, Burn Gorman!!!!! Man, I loved him in Torchwood (RIP, Dr. Owen Harper).  And he's playing opposite a Welshman again.  Someone said it above, he's got the face to play the psycho.  Only, please keep using your accent.  The American tone just sounds wrong.  I cringed a bit when he showed up as the shrink, but it was so lovely to hear him, until the unveiled him as Adam, sans British accent.

  10. I'm going to give Ron one for this, at the very least:  Sonny seems to understand and accept Michael's decision to renounce the Corinthos name and, unlike Carly, is dealing with it.  I do like the different reactions and can appreciate it.  The only thing I am really missing in all of this is an AJ haunting.  He has got to be gloating somewhere over all of it.

Did Tracy call Alexis Ned's girlfriend?  Can Ron please not play with my Nexis loving heart?

    Happy Thanksgiving to all!
