  1. The show hasn't been entirely clear on this point. But I get the impression the only ones who know for certain are Simmons, Coulson and Deathlok, all of whom directly interacted with him. For all we know Coulson may be hiding this from May and the others or it may just be the members of his team who know.

May knows too.  She was in the room at the end of last season when Coulson was having his kind of adorable meltdown about being brought back from the dead and when Coulson got the promotion to Director.

  2. I did like the episode but it was obvious that FitzSimmons were up to something by the tones in their voices.  And I loved it!

I think Bobbie's about to turn back to Coulson.  She was looking more and more uncomfortable at what Gonzalez was saying, defending Skye, etc.  And I look forward to that.

Not paying attention to the credits, I didn't see Deathlock coming,  but man, that was great!  And my new favorite couple is definitely becoming Coulson and Hunter.

My big question is, when did Crazy Cal learn his wife was alive?  He was hellbent on killing the man who killed his wife, yet that now seems to have been for no reason.  That's what has confused me.

  3. I think it began with an AJ insult. Luke had to go get the raccoon because AJ didn't see it(it was Carly) and Luke ended up in Miscavage because of Heather Webber. Then there was a wig on Luke moment and then Kiki perving.

How does Heather fit in this bs?

That was where the switcheroo happened,so for me, that was where this stupid story began.

If Ron remembered what he had written from 2012, Heather would have still been obsessed with  Luke, since she kidnapped him back then.  But, besides being a hack, he has a mind like a sieve and probably just threw her in for her wacky shenanigans.

  4. At least now both Luke and Laura are accidental serial killers. See, you guys, they're each other's lobsters!

    Try telling that to Geary.

After reading that interview, I do have to give the man credit for one thing, exposing just how petty and infantile Ron is.  I mean, it's not like we didn't know it already, but I do appreciate that we get the confirmation from an inside source.

  5. Damm, A poster on another forum thinks that Franco and Nina are the new Hepburn and Spenser.

That poster is either too young or too stupid to know Hepburn and Tracy.  They were all about witty banter and class, neither of which I have read about Franco and Nina.

    The stupid, it burns.

  6. Does anyone remember a few years ago when they did fauxbacks of young Luke & Bobbie breaking into the Q manse; I think Days' Guy Wilson played Luke?

First, did they establish a year that those scenes supposedly took place in, and second didnt that contradict history because my understanding is that Q's didn't show up in Port Charles until after Bobbie did?

Was that the story where Lila wanted to adopt poor orphaned waifs Luke and Bobbie?  I have a vague recollection of it.  I think it was supposed to be the heartwarming Christmas story.

Yeah, it was a contradiction.  And, correct me if I'm wrong, it's way before my time, but when Monty brought in other families, characters, etc, she didn't have the writers total screw with established history, did she?  Unlike, say, Guza and Carlivati?

  7.

Hey Carly, its the morning, so you know where your daughter is? Can you name her?

Her name is Avery and Michael has stolen her away to the pit of vipers knows as the Q mansion.

I do think that they are holding A Journey Of Two Jasons in their back pocket should Steve ever be free, though I wish they would forget about it. But I think for the foreseeable future (or until Steve Burton's contract is up for renewal at CBS) BM is Jason, period.

I saw something on another board that, if not for SBu, they are heading in the direction of, this isn't really Jason, who is he really?  Supposedly, they have it planned out until next year*, and it will be the hook Frank hopes to snare renewal with.  I take it with a large grain of salt, but at the same time, since Ron has been throwing a temper tantrum about his lost epic, Two Todds, I can see them going for it.

*sorry, I had to laugh at that.  When does Ron actually ever followed through with the original idea he had in his head at the start of a story?

  8. Other than asshole/rape stuff, didn't Jessie and Phil get some crap early on for being an older woman/younger man couple back when that was seen as unacceptable?

There was that too.  It was kind of side-eyed back in the day.

I see that SN is headed back to days guess that means will get stuck with courtney for NB consideing how obessed that they are with the kid that plays spencer.

Stefan is saved from Ron's poison pen!

  9. Uh...whaaaa? Huh. Weird. This could be a cute homage or a train wreck of epic proportions. Anyone wanna take bets?

It might actually bring me back to watch.  I totally agree that it could go either way.

I often have no problem with most of RC and FV's anniversary/history ideas - using Audrey and Rachel Ames for the 50th was a lovely tribute to her and John Beradino, especially when they had the cast and all the extras seemingly spontaneously applaud her at the end of her scene, which kind of broke the fourth wall. I don't know if she knew it was coming but RA seemed genuinely surprised and touched. That sort of stuff is the thing they often can get right when they want to, much like when they pulled out all the stops to see to it John Ingle got one more day on-set, which was his last wish. I'll always remember and appreciate them for that and for the care they showed him; the story his family told about it, with the show giving him a standing ovation as he arrived and left and having the cast and crew there to shake his hand, was just wonderful. They also did a very nice tribute to Jessie and Amy Vining at the first Nurses Ball revival in 2013.

Then they do days like killing A.J. off again, trying to spin it as a big positive and then flashing "Happy Anniversary," which was gross. But when they're not being BS artists trying to push a wrongheaded story agenda, they can get a lot right. The flashback to the '60s is one such example for me.

THIS.  The 50th Anniversary show was amazing and seeing Audrey...it brought tears to my eyes.  And the last Edward episode as well.  Hell, I didn't entirely mind the Sonny/Carly toxic memory lane one last year.  But lumping killing off another Q into it, that was awful.

So Phil Brewer was apparently a rapist?  Oh Ron.

IIRC, he wasn't a nice guy.  He was a cheater and he very well may have raped or hit Jessie.

  10.

Did Ron/writers steal the 'Mama Celeste" crack from TWOP or here? That Olivia-Franco visit was so WTF. He's going to remember, tell someone, and it's going to come back to bite her.

I read a recap of the show and when those scenes were posted, one the members was highly insulted and thought that LLC should be too.  I took it more in the stealing lines from message boards he reads, because Ron sure doesn't seem to give a crap to actually write the show.

  11.

So Ron tweeted that originally, those Kiki scenes with Franco were to be with Morgan. So I guess he was the one that was supposed to talk her out of suing for custody.

So, what, RoHo went waaaayyyy off script?  Cause I was clearly seeing the end of Todd and Starr (for the extent that I watched) in those scenes.  And even from the recap I read, Todd reacting to a father losing custody of his child...where in the hell was Morgan supposed to figure in?  Or was this planned out before Uncle Frankie lowballed KA out of the role?

  12. Previews...well, I can rest assured in the knowledge I will hate Kristen Alderson's last scenes.  I liked Todd and Starr too, but Kiki going to see Franco and them having some gooey scene is dumb fan service.

I'm kind of amused Ron didn't give one last scene between KA and CD, but also annoyed because no one gives a fuck about Frodd and fake Starr.*

*Okay, I know there are 5 of you.

    Their special connection of course!

And I fully expect Ron to mine the whole scene with cutesy little references to Todd and Starr.  If I were PP, I'd have the lawyers watch.  Could be more to add to the suit.

  13. Okay seriously no snark, no shade, no judgment:

Does anyone think Tony Geary's acting in this Fluke story is genuinely and legitimately good?

And if none of you think so, is it receiving praise on other boards?

I saw elsewhere, and take it with a grain of salt, that the network wants it done and done asap. It's likely to get worse (the post said something about the worst writing) with little sense being made overall. ABC just wants it done.

  14. Not only did they insult the governor of New York by making him dumb enough to pardon Sonny but they just had to cast an actor who looks a lot like Newt Gingrich to play him.

For the half-a-second I saw of the show, I was thinking the same thing.  "Why is Newt Gingrich on GH?"

GH could be so good under them but they are deeply, pridefully, almost bitterly invested in making it a very specific kind of personal bad. That's what frustrates me. Because I can see where the good is and it's buried under shit and stuff that is just embarrassing (but fun).

There are times, that I think that this is FrankenRon's revenge for them losing [Other Soap Opera] to PP, you know, the great sin of the show going on without them.  Or, at least, the Holy Three.  "Well, since we couldn't continue with our vision, we'll fuck yours up so bad, no one will recognize it!"
