  1. Yes, you have the acronym right. I hope he also has a taste of humble pie one of these days...and I hope Joe's not the only one...
  2. I still think Stephanie Ruhle was the wrong choice to take over The 11th Hour. Her energy fits daytime. She is the person you want to watch when you're waking up, not when you are ready to go to sleep. It's kind of jarring. I am all for "Morning Steele"!! Alicia and Symone should join him and the suits can reimagine the weekend morning lineup.
  3. Honestly, can Alyssa be a bigger butt kisser for that entire administration? She is positively giddy. Yeeesh. Second your opinion on Rep. Crockett. She has fire and compassion, which are sorely needed in this moment.
  4. Agreed, because that does happen. In the 1990s (when this show is set), people were just starting to learn about autism at large.
  5. Joe talks (reads: SHOUTS) AT people, not TO people. It was bad before but now it's unbearable.
  6. I watched Lucky and Liz right from the beginning in summer 1997, where she referred to his great-aunt Ruby as a "buzzard". Yikes!! Not only is their chemistry just as great as it was nearly 28 (!!!!) years ago, neither Jonathan Jackson nor Becky Herbst have aged much. I could watch them all day!!!
  7. I would suggest getting rid of the 4th hour altogether!! Still, what would they put on in its place?
  8. If they don't, somebody else needs to.
  9. I did get a kick out of a real, authentic hospital detail on today's show...did anyone else notice Kai wearing those tan grippy socks? 😁
  10. Seriously, I could be entertained if Genie Francis read from a menu as Laura. What a daytime treasure she is.
  11. Oakville, my friend, you never fail to make me laugh. Thank you.
  12. True, and sad to say, some people just will never vote for a woman. As I said on The View forum...misogyny and racism is as American as baseball and apple pie. 💔
  13. Very well said. Whatever happened to Jenny Jones? I did see Sally Jessy a few months ago on Daily Blast Live (RIP - great show!) when she shared memories of Phil Donahue, who had just passed away. I was just thinking recently about the long-term effects Jerry Springer and other American daytime talk show hosts have had on the culture at large. There was also Maury "you ARE the father!" Povich, who started out as a serious newsman. Then there was Oprah, who didn't really go in for cheap theatrics - but once she reached a certain tax bracket, she became totally unrelatable. Not to mention that she has the distinction of introducing the likes of Dr. Phil and Dr. Oz to the world. Even as a naive, sheltered teen, I found it incredibly stupid that a politician would actually use a PERSONAL CHECK!! What, he couldn't have used cash???
  14. You completely nailed it...all of it. The Mr. and Mrs. even LOOK condescending.
  15. To think, The View could have hired Tara Setmayer instead of Alyssa. At least Tara is rocking it with the Seneca Project!!
