I would love to see this picture of Lily as I am a big fan of hers but I am unable to open the link. It takes me to a sign in page requiring you to sign in to Facebook or Instagram. Rachel Lunsford was the one who modeled it in that episode and she looked FANTASTIC in the full outfit she was sporting. Rachel has always been one of my top 3 DCC redheads along with Emma Mary and Stephaine Lawson, which is funny as in earlier tryouts before she finally made the team you can see Stephanie as a dark brunette and it was a very unappealing hair color for her. Her change to a redhead was big for her as it totally changed her look and was very attractive.

Wow!! Shelly B. gave me a "like" emoji on the satirical story I made up about Phil. She has made my day! I'm absolutely giddy!! 😂 Now, if only she could get the PR folks to photoshop a picture of Phil into the point position of the Thunderstruck triangle formation and post it here on our DCC Primetimer 2021 audition topic page. Am I asking for too much Shelly? 😂😂😂!!!

I know this is the 2021 auditions topic, but I just saw Lily's cameo for DBC. I wonder how many times Kelli has drunk dialed Lily late at night saying "I miss you soooooo *hic-cup* much baby...please come back to me...I'll *hic-cup" do anything...baby..." 😂!

Her kicks rivaled, if not exceeded Lacy's and Holly's. They were effortless. She should have been chosen for TC and taken to the point of the makeover at least to see what they could have done for her look. I think back to Maddie's first year when she was cut. Her look needed help (especially the eyebrows) and they gave her that opportunity because they saw that she was a good dancer. Katelyn's dance ability deserved the same chance. Of course Maddie came back the next year cute as a bug with her naturally curly hair. Would have been nice to see if Katelyn's look could have met the same successful outcome.

I'm chuckling that I actually have to address this, but yes, it was a joke. I couldn't tell you if Phil even has a dog or if he even has the legs to rock the uniform in the triangle...😂😂😂!!!

Update! I see on Reddit where they say Phil's dog had a litter of puppies and THAT was the reason for his leave of absence. That makes much more sense. My mistake! I wonder if when he comes back if TPTB will put him right back as the stadium ambassador or if he will have to start again as a ticket taker at the gates and work his way back up to stadium ambassador? Dr. M or Lemonbus, can either of you confirm this story?; and if they put him right back as stadium ambassador, does that mean that he might at least still have a chance at being in the triangle? Curious (and completely bored) minds want to know!!

DCC MTT has really lost its appeal to me since the 2015 season debacle and this years no news TC has only added to my disinterest. Last years extremely shortened "Bubble" TC left me with absolutely no sentimental connection to last years rookies now vying for 2nd year vet status and all my favorite vets from the past several years have retired, resigned or were infamously cut. The only really big news from this TC season was when we heard that Phil didn't get point and then he took a leave of absence because he got pregnant. Has anybody heard if he's expecting a boy or a girl? 😂😂😂😂 !!!!

Maybe something to fill the void with so little else occuring. The times that I saw the episode where Vivian reads her poem (IIRC, Season 9, episode 7?), It's sounds to me like Vivian says the title of her poem is "elusive dream". I see here on the board that it is always referred to as "lucid dream". It's easy to understand how it can be confused as both words sound identical if said quickly or garbled. Looking at the definition of both words, it appears as though the term "elusive" represents her poem and history more so than "lucid". I don't own any playback media of the seasons so I can't just go find it and listen to it over and over to try and discern which word she says. So,...which is it??? I tend toward "elusive".

Yes. Thank you. Those who choose to follow their own independent thinking instead of just going along with the crowd or succumbing to peer pressure, especially when it means giving up something you love and have worked hard for are role models for those of us who respect the individual liberties afforded to us all. I applaud their courage and sacrifice and wish them all the best in finding new endeavors to enrich their lives and future.

The right thing? For you yes. And for those who rejected it, they did the right thing too. Too many variables when it comes to personal health for there to be only one "right thing" for everyone. Your life. Your body. Your choice. Take care everyone!

It's my understanding that a new vaccine to innoculate you from the VK-21-LOA discussion virus has been produced and there is now a requirement that all DCC Primetimer contributors be vaccinated so as to no longer be afflicted with or spread the viral discussion of speculative reasons for VK's leave of absence announcement. I cannot conceive of any good reason for anyone to not take this vaccine, however for those who choose not to take the vaccine, they will have to leave the forum and don't let the door hit your ass on the way out...😂

Soooooo tired of this in regard to absolutely everything today. Content of character. Dance ability. Personality. Integrity. Inside and outside beauty. Committment. Work ethic. Good team member. Sincere. Humble. Grateful. Kind. Polite. Responsible. Supportive. These are the people I want to root for and see succeed in ANY situation. I could not give two #^$@! about color. Love every human being for who they are and what they can bring to help improve your community, your organization, your life. Do what you will to me....

TPTB really boned up season 15, and in doing so, also boned up their reputation and show. Granted, the circumstance under which the world was dealing with at that time demanded things be other than "normal". But there were options, and TPTB chose the wrong one IMHO. I think the decision was driven by what they thought would be seen as a novel solution to a difficult problem and lauded as a tremendous success in overcoming the long odds of "Making the Team" under such conditions which in turn would lead to great interest in the show and thus higher ratings. Unfortunately, it was a train wreck instead, leading to veteran cuts and rookie selections based on a scintilla of observation and evaluation compared to the traditional full training camp where girls who were weak in the beginning had the time to progress and show their commitment, their strength under pressure and their improvement in dance and consistency, not to mention more time to also show their great personalities that would make them great ambassadors. It also produced a group of rookies who none of the viewers had time to get to know thus creating this current group of basically unknown and unremembered 2nd year candidates. I don't blame the girls, in fact, I feel sorry for them. DCC should have just stuck with the all vet team for the '20-'21 season. DCC lost a lot of really committed and beautiful girls (Meredith, Lily, Brennan and Hannah) and a lot of fans with the poor season 15 decisions.

Wow! SleepyJean! I really enjoyed this post and had a fun time reading all those old articles written by DCC's. But now I'm curious about the inner conflict you said Kelsi Reich later wrote about before turning her back on the whole experience. I was not aware of this story. Could you give me the Cliff Notes version of that story or point me to where I could read where she wrote about this? It sounds very interesting! And I agree with your question regarding Brittney Schram's poem. I've always loved everything about Brittney and thought she was perfect in every way...until I read her poem. Hah! I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but I reiterate...DCC really f'd up releasing this exemplary human being.

Reading all the conjecture, opinions and jumped to conclusions that appear after any "big DCC news event" (VK's departure in this instance) which is after all what the entertainment value of these forums is all about, I am now wondering just how much more "how?" and "why?" interest and entertainment value would have been spurred had this surprise announcement actually been a pregnant Phil leaving us. Especially the "how?".....😂

Adding to my previous post about the apparent special connection, Lily and Bridget were in TC together in season 13 of MTT. Bridget made the team, and of course Lily was heartbreakingly cut on the last night of TC. So they had 8 weeks together and as I recall, I read a bio on Lily that said both of her parents were veterinarians and of course Bridget was a vet tech and a huge animal lover. I wonder if that was the original connection that has blossomed into a really great friendship. Lily also had her german shepherd in Dallas with her during TC and Bridget had her small dog with her (I can't remember the breed). Anyway, were you to watch reruns of season 13 and 14, there are many episodes where you see quick, small sweet moments of moral support between Bridget and Lily. On the last night of training camp in season 14 when it appeared as though both Lily and Meredith were going to be cut, you could see the heartbreak and concern in Bridget's body language of hand over her mouth and tears welling in her eyes. But when the surprise reveal of both Meredith and Lily running back on the field, who was the first to reach Lily and hug her? It was Bridget. Best team announcement ever in MTT history by the way IMHO. And last, there was Bridget's instagram post right after the vet cuts in season 15 where she subtly voiced her displeasure with TPTB after seeing her friends cut very impersonallly over a video conference call. I'm sure her comments were in support of all those girls; Meredith, Brennan, Hannah and Lily but I think Lily hurt her most.

Obviously I've been watching too many re-runs of DCC MTT. I wanted to say the right thing so I wouldn't upset Kelly, Judy or Charlotte just in case I wanted to try out again next season...hah!
