  1. The perp was hilariously rapey at the flower warehouse/store. I was waiting for him to lick his lips and thrust his pelvis at Rollins as they finalized the delivery time.  Talk about not being subtle!

  2. Dumbest "heroes" ever. I am sure Nica will kill 80 year old John Waters but she should leave the three idiots as dolls so they can do less harm.

Also, why did evil fixer guy want to blow up the White House?

  3. I think the mom was sexting the guy so he would invite her to his motel for sex and she could kill him (she thought the trial was going badly at this point).

agreed. the whole storylines are centering on Darlene making stupid decisions for her and Mark and Harris. Yay lets get Mark thru a 4 year college, but ignore poor Harris who seems dead-ended and headed towards a cr*ppy future. And now ADHD on top of the rest of the garbage.  The show is slowly losing me wanting to watch it.

To be fair, Harris seems like a lost cause at this point. She almost married a weirdo and was kinda happy that some even worse guy got her pregnant.

  5. DON'T BREAK THE CIRCLE!

The people who broke the circle early were the ones who didn't get electrocuted

Was this deliberate to show that the medium vastly underestimated Chucky's power and had little actual knowledge of the spirit realm? Nothing even happened after they broke contact.

Also, what was the point of showing the body double trying to escape drowning and then not let him survive?

What a sad twist of how the money was used.

On a lighter note, the trivia question about a vegan daughter with a dad who drinks. LOL. This bit reminds me of the inside jokes in original show.

They should have added something like "this 90s TV daughter was well known for her rebel attitude and alienation from her family".

  7. I lost track of all the crimes going on. Did the Asian kid do anything illegal or wrong besides associating with the two rapey white guys?

  8. Did the drug smuggler's baby mama want the cops to arrest her boyfriend? Because she was talking so badly about him and how he may be in cahoots with George. I thought she was overall ok being with him but that was taking shit-talking too far.

  9. I couldn't help wishing that an old school Law and Order character like Mike Logan or Stabler pre-2005 had been at the police station to give some flash mob dorks a good beating.

  10. If there are frigging official Voodoo doctors operating almost openly in America, I am pretty sure the government knows that it's real. It shouldn't be that hard to tell President that his sons doll is possessed.

Of course, if that were true, they would have taken Chucky seriously years ago.

  11. I like how this President and his advisors are so concerned about optics but don't see a problem letting his son carry around a doll that has been associated with like a hundred murders by this point.

There is even a fictional killer doll movie franchise in this universe based on that same doll!

  12. I'm surprised no one is talking about the ridiculousness of Colin the "no homo" character witness. He is ready to announce to the world that he had sex with a guy, but he admits to perjury to the first dude who asks about it in the courthouse bathroom?

Did they actually bitch about that at the time? Or just spitball it in the twenty years afterwards for fanfic purposes? I didn't see any such complaints in the USENET groups of the day. Not to mention that the original show DID discuss community college and computers.

I agree that sometimes you have to do things because they're funny rather than realistic because it's a sitcom. I think a lot of the complaints about Darlene quitting her job to become a lunch lady was that it wasn't funny, it was dreary and depressing and played up like this big inevitable sacrifice she has to make, so of course everyone argues about all the ways it could have been avoided.

I have no problem believing that Roseanne during her years working at the diner and raising DJ and Darlene would have been too tired to take computer classes. And she wouldn't have seen the need to after she bought the Lunchbox. It's just too bad she didn't try to get more education after the restaurant went out of business sometime in the last twenty years.

Original Show David would have been level 5 static clinger...and Darlene would have been the one to dump him.

Darlene and David were so toxic in the original show

Exactly! That is how they should have introduced Darlene in the first season of the revival. Just say that David became even more clingy after his brother died. He wouldn't give Darlene her space, maybe one of them cheated etc.

Making him a deadbeat dad just ruins so much of what we knew about him.
