Olympics should never have been a go ahead, bringing how many people from how many countries into a country with only 20% vaccination rates? 🤦🏻‍♀️ Hopefully because there isn’t such travelling happening (I would assume?) for home games and safety precautions are taken then they can be on the field.

My parents have 2 of the most common names (Michael & Catherine) so they made sure all three of their kids had something different so we didn’t end up being one of multiples lol Definitely worked out well for all of us (all born in the 90s), my sister and I have never met anyone with the same name (only in younger age groups for my sister) and my brother is just average enough there were never any multiples in his classes/work place

I think one of the reasons Jalyn hasn't been cut outright is because of something similar to what someone said about Brennan before: Kelli has no legitimate reason for cutting her despite her distaste for her. With Brennan, K was always on the fence about her but she was loved by pretty much everyone else so she stayed on the team until K could use the excuse of her "lacking stamina" to cut her. With Jalyn, she's been punished with loosing out on show group but K can't find any legitimate reason for cutting her that wouldn't anger people because she's still a fabulous dancer and loved by the majority across the board. Thus, she stays until she chooses to leave or until K is able to dig up some hail mary reason to get rid of her before that.

Seasoned law student here, can definitely attest to this. American firms (and law schools even) are VERY particular about what attorneys should wear. Plain black/blue suits, MAYBE tan for men in the summer, plain coloured shirts, no bold patterns or colours. Canada is very different from this, much more colour is allowed and patterns are welcome. Always a bit of whiplash attending events/panels/etc. from either country lol Okay, red suit for closing arguments would be killer *starts taking notes*

You can absolutely still get COVID if you're vaccinated... It just means it won't land you in the hospital (hopefully). You can still carry the virus as well even if vaccinated. The vaccine isn't a force field stopping COVID from getting to you, it just makes you less susceptible to the worse symptoms if you are infected. Makes sense to want everyone vaccinated to ensure everyones safety and best health, my University has made it mandatory except for in extenuating circumstances.

This This This!!! Where are the audition videos? Where are the introductions to the TCCs? Reintroduce us to the vets with their audition videos! It's not that hard to comprehend 🤦🏻‍♀️

I might be remembering incorrectly but wasn't it mentioned before that she turned down a place at a performing arts/dance school in order to dance with the DCC? I feel like if she were to get back on that path, assuming she's healthy, she would come out a stronger dancer and stronger in her sense of self and self-worth. 18 is so young to be putting yourself into this type of spot light and I honestly worry about the new TCCs who are that young as well. Dance is clearly VKs passion so pursuing further education in dance would be great for her. I feel like it also wouldn't put as much stress on her mentally and physically as DCC & their auditions do.

I think that's why I like Kleine already so much, very similar in appearances to Amanda. She seems spunky from her insta and I love her natural/ish hair so i'm excited lol Edit: UKDance is also where Lily danced in uni so high hopes for Kleine!

I would love to see more of a mixed squad! Having the DCC and then the R&B just feels so blah to me. Like "oh you're great but not THAT great so here's our lesser known, lesser talked about second string squad." If the two squads were merged and dancers swapped out for different games/numbers I think that would be fun. It would add some variety to the DCC rather than just having them be power pom. they could do stunting, harder hitting numbers, etc. But that's just my 2 cents 🤷🏻‍♀️

I remeber I was so small when I danced competitively... But then I was 11-17yo and had only gone through minor puberty lol The minute I hit my early 20s it was like I hit second puberty, I don’t know how these girls stay so small it just seems like it goes against all scientific reasoning for how the female body grows and changes throughout the years. I commend them for keeping up their appearances, but it really can’t be easy and you gotta wonder how healthy it is for those who aren’t naturally slim in figure like Jinelle

I went on a bit of an internet dumpster dive (when I should be writing an outline for a 40pg paper 😅) because I wanted to see how Lily ended up modelling/working with Cheer Athletics and Rebel and I think I might have gone a bit deep into to University of Kentucky Dance Team social media’s but, all I have to say is.... I feel like the problem with VK for a lot of us is the nepotism. She’s a good dancer, I’ll give her that, and a good DCC with how much she obviously loves the organization and her job dancing for them. HOWEVER, she still has a lot to improve on and often it’s very simple technique based things that should have been drilled into her from regular ballet classes. I just don’t appreciate the spotlight she gets so often when other people deserve to be getting recognition as well. There are better dancers who could be showcased more often and better spokespersons I would like to hear from as well. A lot of the dislike comes from TPTB constantly shoving her down our throats. (I personally don’t think she was show group material her rookie year but that’s just me 🙈)

Happens a lot here in Canada! I’ve got a cousin who had great grades and couldn’t get in anywhere in Canada so he got into a US School where he spent year 1 in England, 2 in Granada, and 3 in the States. It’s a hot mess for how med schools accept students

I definitely think the shortened training camp was unfair to the vets. Not only were they given last minute notice that they had to send in a video, but they were given the routines potentially weeks after the rookies were. Part of training camp is to root out the slow learners in the rookies and giving them an unfair advantage over the vets definitely set a bad tone for training camp. I feel like the rookies were given everything they needs to succeed and the vets were left out to hang. I get it, they’re vets and should already have this down pat. BUT, in normal training camp they already have most of the routines memorized and when new routines are brought in they learn them at the same time and pace as the rookies. In my opinion, Kelli engineered this training camp as a way to kick off veterans that she had issues with (or VK had issues with...) and bring in new blood that could be molded into the perfect little DCC Barbie. Edited to add: This definitely should have been a Vets only season, no training camp. Definitely only done for the ratings imho 😕

Oh my God I think I finally figured out why her appearance bugs me so much. Her and Tiffany Tr*mp could be sisters. The overly processed blonde hair, the excessive liner on the eyes, the smile/overbite. If VK would update her makeup it would DEFINITLY make a difference but dear Lord it's jarring lmao

When ever I’m going through the DCC’s instas, Lily’s is the ONLY one that never fails to make me smile. Her mood even via pictures is just infectious and while she may not be “DCC sexy” she’s got the cute girl next door look down pat and clearly seems more relatable than many of the other DCCs. They seriously did her, along with the other girls, dirty.

Maybe they'll feature her doing a lyrical dance with her stunning turns in her wedding episode 😂
