I am just now reliving the drama of the Alaska trip (yes, I am bored enough for reruns). It occurs to me to ask, when Buddy-Boo-Bear flew off to join the gang at the Alaska lodge, who was looking after Whitney's cats? She never mentions any concern about whether her "beloved" animals are getting fed and medicated while she, and Buddy, are away.

Actually, didn't her business partner book this trip? ?And then Whitney added her extras. If the original plan had been followed, the 2 guys should have been in one room, and Whitney in the other. OR, Whit and her bed warmer in one, and the leftover dude in the other.

Thoughts on this latest offering by TLC:
The kids are adorable. Too adorable. Also too clean, too coordinated in dress, too articulate to be real and too choreographed.
Also over-rehearsed.
But....cute!
The parents are over the top in the same ways. The drama is forced and shallow; too quickly solved, which makes me wonder if they're also fake. There's just something "off" about this bunch.
The house seems to be nothing more than a set. It doesn't appear that a family actually lives there.
I feel no need for another season.

I will say, in the parents' defense, that I grew up with my "fishin' shoes". They were worn and nasty, but fine for fishing or even better, going out to the clamming flats.
It's not like they're sending the kid to church or to the first day of school wearing those.

I remember when she had just turned 2 they took her to the park by their house and had her climbing on a little rock wall and another swinging type thing that was obviously more suited to a 4yr old, her feet couldn't reach so she had to let go with one hand, hold all her weight on one arm and toes of one foot and STRETCH to get her other foot to the next spot and she was scared but they kept pushing her until she managed to do it but honestly I was anxious and worried while I watched the video because she could have easily fallen and hurt herself!...she was about 4ft off the ground to boot.
looks like they're still pushing her to be "super child" with the wave riding 🙄

Since Maddie's birthing experience was mentioned, I have been wondering for some time now if those women do anything to prepare for their labors and deliveries? I mean, aside from arranging the folding chairs beside the bed and tub for the gallery of onlookers. The screaming, grunting, flailing and splashing sure isn't like anything I learned in my preparation classes. These girls seem to know nothing about relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and such. It's unnecessary suffering and really kind of sad to watch.
I sure hope they don't go this way for the drama.

It would be interesting to see what sort of officer he finally develops into, once he hits what we call "The Real Air Force". I served under some Academy grads who were great. Others, well, not quite so.

Aug and Jer just spent the last couple weeks or so...., celebrating Aujs birthday with family, traveling around and dining out for their anniversary, camping with friends, celebrating Margo Bottis birthday with family and friends plus boating with Aujs dad etc just to name a few...., meanwhile Chris and Amy have also been social butterflies... They're a Covid stew waiting to boil over. 🙄
They'll just go along their merry way until one or more of them get sick. Then, we will all be subject to their "Raising Awareness!" posts. We will be lectured about distancing, and masks, and washing our hands - just like they just had this astonishing revelation and simply MUST share this breaking news with us all!
