After her conviction for fraud, she can no longer get public assistance of any kind.    However, I'm sure the charities, and churches get hit up for support regularly.

The parents lie about a lot of things, so I wouldn't be surprised if they never legally married, including the Disney ceremony.   No marriage license listed.

Gigi "officiated"? Is she licensed or ordained to do this?

And is that "jumping the broom" really a thing these days?

I'm just waiting for this train wreck to go off the cliff along with Sister Wives and see what becomes of the "stars". LOL

Well, Cootie's harem I don't care much about: they've made their bed. I don't want the kids to suffer unnecessarily.

As far as TWitney goes, this bunch is so far-fetched, it's hard to tell who/what is real and who/what is contrived. Should that train wreck sail off yonder cliff, it might just sprout wings and flutter away through clouds of pixie dust for all we know.

This was another episode that I think might have been in the can for quite awhile because I could see absolutely no visible of verbal reference to COVID.

All things considered, I could see why the producers (Dr. Now's son's company) sought to deprive us of the experience of viewing the likes of Dolly and her hangers on until the exact right time.

The issue that concerned me the most was how overweight the little girl appeared.

I noted that Dolly started her downward spiral into the gargantuan shape she's in today when she was about the age of her daughter.  Her mother was her caregiver and, apparently had her own weight challenges (that she was able to correct on her own some years ago).

I agree with the poster upthread who mentioned that Dolly's mother didn't seem overly excited about raising her granddaughter.  I agree with that assessment.

That was the takeaway I got from this episode.  I deleted it as soon as it ended.  I had enough!

The most redeeming part of this sad waste of airtime.

She seems to also be doing voice over ads, at least for local businesses. I hear her voice occasionally when listening to the radio. She does have a nice voice when not shouting or braying.

Can she actually slow down her pace and articulate words in English instead of "Valley Girl" slang?  Does she end every phrase with an interrogative?

Nah, I don’t. I don’t think anybody wants to watch Duggar 3.0. As it is now, they are all interchangeable and, let’s face it, more boring than watching paint dry. Now, if it is about one of them breaking away big time and spilling all the tea, we’ll talk.

I would watch. I love the Duggars: ALL of them.

It's fascinating watching Kody twist himself into knots trying to explain to everyone how HE is the victim in everything.  It's pretty ironic that he called Janelle the "teflon queen" last week when it's Kody who refuses to take responsibility for ANYTHING.

I don't care about the right of it, or the wrong of it. What that craphead said about the boy's mother - to the boy! - was completely out of line. Totally unacceptable. Had someone said something so vicious about my mother, I would have clubbed him with a shovel, then used said shovel to bury the jerk.

...maybe the Nanny does things for Kody.

There's a rumor circulating that the nanny is actually serving as surrogate for Kody and Robyn's baby. Helped along by comments made by (?) Garrison and Kody's paranoia about covid (conveniently keeping everybody away from their little love nest).

Oh, great, another one that can't spell or put together a coherent sentence.

Oh, I dunno. I know and have worked for many "college degreed" people who don't have enough sense to pour piss out of a boot with the instructions on the sole. Or could figure their way out of an open phone booth.

Maybe Amy’s bones ache and she likes being in the same state as Matt!

Didnt Amy follow Matt and Caryn to Hawaii?  I know different islands but same state!

Do something different Amy. Go visit Florida.

That's hardly different. How about....Kansas! Upstate NY! Wall SD (I can just see a whole new recipe collection: We Dug  Wall Drug).

There's a whole wide wonderful America to explore. Do that!

What is this "date your child" thing?  She doesn't work (except by shilling pictures like this one), so she's with them all the time anyway!

I had "dates" with my son, back in the day. We would go to the base recreation center. He would open the door for me. We played video games together. We would order pizza (he practiced his manners by first asking what I would like on pizza, and then we negotiated). It was fun, and a good teaching/learning experience for him, and some of my most precious memories of that time in his life. He was learning to be a fine young man. Something every boy should learn with his parents' guidance.

Well, since you said you had no idea who the guy is, I immediately assumed you didn't realize they had a baby (to whom he referred when he said "MADDOX and I....", implying that the baby was with them.)

Back in my day, it was, "First comes love (not fornication), Then comes marriage, THEN comes Ryan with a baby carriage!".

Michael is a "mill operator" (whatever that is.) Amy's income derives from the show, her You Tube channel, and Cameos on social media. Thank goodness she's not on Only Fans, right?

Most likely factory work. Honorable, but not high-paying.

Amy:  Does an airplane go faster than a car?

    Michael:  I don't know.

    😬

She might have simply been referring to the comparative lengths of time between car travel between Points A and B and travel by aircraft - which involves driving to the airport, check in, security, boarding, deboarding.....y'all get the gist. A trip by car can go faster than a trip by plane, time-wise.

OMG Jazz LYING IN BED ALL DAY, waiting to get the email from Harvard! This is ruining that institution’s reputation of only accepting the most dedicated high-achieving students. Makes me angry on behalf of whatever student DIDN’T get accepted so that she could go.

I crossed that bridge back when Jazz first got accepted, only to then stipulate that Jazz needs time to do things on Jazz's schedule and when Jazz is darn good and ready, well, then the red carpet can be rolled out on the Commons. At that point, that freshman seat should have gone to the next name on the list - someone who was ready and healthy enough to go THEN. Horribly entitled people, the whole family. And I'm hoping somebody pitches Sander's blasted phone out the nearest open car window - enough with the camera-in-the-face thing.

I highly doubt there's another baby in the mansion. It would  make for a great storyline which translates into dollars and Kody would want to show off his new trophy everywhere. (Unless, one of Robyn's girls lost her cookies, which could be a reason to hide it, but since the girls are shackled to the house I deem that unlikely as well)

From a medical point of view; Robyn is now 43 so pretty old to have another child. It's not impossible of course but it would be very hard to conceive, not to mention the other medical risks. And if she indeed suffers from thyroid issues (which I consider highly likely) then the chances of getting pregnant at 42 are probably close to nil.

This might explain why Robyn "needs" a nanny. It's hard to believe that a woman who doesn't work, and whose youngest children are 4/5 and 9/10 years old. If there's an infant that needs to be kept out of the script, well, that changes the picture.

Maybe, but that still doesn't answer the question. How is it even possible to effectively disinfect paper without destroying the paper? Bleach and boiling water in the quantity needed to disinfect would ruin paper. The only think I can think of is maybe a UV light. I'm afraid a heat lamp would burn the paper. So what are people like Kody who claim to regularly perform this ritual actually doing?

What are they actually doing? In Kody's case, lying.

I'm not buying that he is "sacrificing" himself, living SUCH a sterile life for the sake of his family.

Here is a short excerpt from her blog on Sister Wive's Closet. It's easy to find just don't want  send her clicks:

"Little did I know that this would be the dichotomy that is Dayton his whole life.  When Dayton was in 2nd grade, the school counselor and psychologist brought me in and told me that he wanted to do some tests on Dayton.  I said yes and we started the long process.  This was when I was told that Dayton has Asperger Syndrome.  I was told it is a high functioning form of Autism.  Dayton had a lot of the behaviors.  It made sense to me because although he was amazing he also struggled with some things quite a bit.  He was artistic, intelligent, had an amazing memory and a sweet disposition, but he also really struggled in school, didn’t understand how to make friends, or how to deal with stress and didn’t have mind-body connection.  The more I learned and researched the more I started to understand what challenges were ahead for him and what I had to do as a mom to support him and advocate for him.  It was my job as his mother to help the world open their eyes to the amazing person before them, help fight for him to get the support he needed and help eliminate stress for him as much as I could.  You see, when someone with Autism or Asperger Syndrome is stressed out, the behaviors that make them stand out are more prevalent.  It has been a long journey but I have been determined to make sure he has every opportunity to be successful and happy.  I have been accused of being a helicopter parent but unless you have been in my shoes you don’t get it."

In other words, Robyn is one of those women who just HAS to make her kids "special", because that makes her a martyr and a MUCH better 'Mom' than those of us who have raised well-adjusted, normal offspring.

She hovers like a dang Chinook over all her kids to the point of making them all maladjusted and quirky.

I am reminded of the woman with whom I used to be friends who virtue signaled in many greeting cards throughout 2020. I blocked her and we no longer speak. 2022 and guess who’s never had Covid. Me. And I work in hospitals. Live and let live. Live and let die. I make my own choices. I am responsible for myself and my family only. I’d sooner die than tell someone else how to live their life. LFOD all day every day.

Christine and Janelle do what works for their family units. The writing is on the wall. Compliance with Kobyn’s “rules” is nothing more than exertion of control under the guise of covid avoidance. It 👏 is 👏 not 👏 about 👏 covid and it never was.

    AMEN!

Garrison is in the National Guard, and from what Janelle is saying, works hard and is saving up for a down payment so he can buy a home. Whatever training he got before getting a job, he apparently took care of on his own, since Janelle said all they've done is help him get a car. The Guards helps tremendously with any schooling you want, so I believe her.

He seems like a self-starter who makes an honest living and has a plan to me, but Kody wants to make him sound like an unemployed, lazy brat who does nothing but play video games all day. As Janelle mentioned, they let Maddie and Caleb live with them when they needed some help. It's not Garrison's plan to stay forever.

Janelle's done something right to have ended up with the sons she has. I hope she continues to choose them over Kody's nonsense. She's proud of them and has a right to be. The fact that Kody is not proud of them speaks volumes.

Garrison has probably achieved more in his short time as an adult than Kody has in his whole miserable life and Kody hates him for it. He's the same way with all of his successful, respectful, bright sons. He's a jealous, petty, spiteful little man.

Garrison, as a National Guardsman, is entitled to VA benefits. One of those benefits is the ability to buy a house without a down payment. I'm surprised he's not taking advantage of that.
