There have been a lot of awkward people on this show (my personal favorite is Neil), but I have never felt like any of them were anything but just that. Henry is the first one that I questioned (in my mind) if the weirdness went beyond that, but like I said, we haven't seen much of him yet and maybe it is just that he's an extreme introvert with massive social anxiety. Even if it is just that, I don't think that bodes well for him under these circumstances. And I do agree with @gonecrackers that the show is making a mockery of it with the music cues (circus theme, really?!?) and editing.
I'll have to rewatch and see if I pick up on it.
Anyway, @gonecrackers I am sorry for coming off so strongly! I do want to hear your views!

I have a nephew with autism and a cousin with Downs. I find it upsetting when their conditions are associated with being weird, so that's where my sensitivity is.
This board is us talking about an episode and sharing our thoughts. If I speculate on something, I fully expect discourse about it. Those were my thoughts in response is all! I'll drop it.

You posited "but they're almost portraying him as... 'special'." And then your followup comments were basically he could still be, hold down a job, get married, be functional but they shouldn't have him on the show. You are basically speculating he is special needs. .
It's just very hard to understand how you made the leap to they are editing out to make him appear "special." And when I saw the 'special' it just read very insulting to special needs children. Making that leap to me makes it sound like because you find him odd, either he is special needs or they are portraying them to be. I'm really uncomfortable with equating odd with special needs.

Based on the way the Gizelle's kids responded to their dad tells me this rekindled romance is a story line they don't wish to be a part of.

Yeah, I just notice that every time someone on a reality show is awkward, there are a lot of people that start diagnosing them with "on the spectrum" stuff. I just thought the guy looks like someone who was likely a dorky kid, grew up attractive enough but still is in his dorky mindset and is now on a reality show and is nervous on camera!

If Michael, or Michael's mom, really were this insistent on him having children, he would have a young wife who would have likely has his children already. He wouldn't be considering a 54 year old woman. So I don't believe for one minute, this is even a real consideration for Michael. If children were that important to him, he's been with a young woman.
On Angela, I don't know what TLC pays, but if she has so many people depending on her, and she wants to keep TLC money, she needs to go see Michael since it appears he can't get into the US.

Wait, we've diagnosed Henry as "special needs" because he appears "awkward" and scratched his head?
Socially awkward doesn't mean he's on the spectrum of anything but nerves because he's marrying a stranger.
I do not feel like a socially awkward person is being used by Lifetime for a show he signed up for. Nor do I think he's anything but nervous.

Regarding the poor psychopath, he just can't catch a break. People are digging up all the allegations posted when he first appeared. This information about Pole has been out there since the beginning, but there was only proof of a few things. For anyone who missed them the first time, here are the current reposts.

The hearing on the Temporary Restraining Order filed by Karine is August 11
He filed one against her right after the police left, saying he wanted to make sure she couldn't take Pierre and flee. She was served with that one, he went to the hospital to have the nodule on his penis drained and Karine left. Even though he had her served with a TRO, he is acting shocked and fearful of her taking off. After she filed one against him, he filed another one against her, but she hasn't been served because they do not know where she is . I don't see dates for the ones filed by Pole on Karine, but they are likely going to be taken care of at the same time.
The only response to this mess by Sharp and TLC should be:
I'd love to give credit for that incredibly accurate Angela drawing, but many people are claiming credit and I don't know who is telling the truth.
Glad that it's credible she's safe. Very scary situation. I can't get over just how horrible Paul is. I mean, we knew it, but I really hoped that he chanced his ways.

If I really like a character on housewives, I usually will continue to support them, even when they become the bad guy. (I've supported Dorinda and Sonja for a while now, because, they make me laugh and I've always thought there was some kind of heart deep inside.) I am skeptical of this franchise and never quite trust what I see. And, for good reason.
The Housewives franchise is heavily produced, imo, and I suspect that a lot of what we see happen is done by a loose script. So, I try to keep that in mind when I watch the show. It's not much different from professional wrestling. (WWE) Have you ever watched it? They have these characters that are generated by the PTB. Bad guy, nice guy, meanie, etc. Then they fight in the ring so that it looks horrible and violent. Well......they are fighting, but, it's staged fighting. They actually practice the moves and prepare for it. This is well known. However, people still get hurt. Really hurt when doing this. And, feelings get hurt as well. So, in a way, it's difficult to tell reality from fake. Despite all that, the true personalities still come through and that's what I try to base my opinion on with housewives. Eventually, I have to face it when the character seems to have lost it. Both on the show and in reality. Does that make any sense? lol
There's also a big part of me thinking a lot of the drama that ensues and their twitter wars are stuff they laugh their asses off about when the cameras are off. Of course they are going to need to bring the drama. We aren't going to watch a show that doesn't have it.

Sexual chemistry is something discussed on the show constantly. Has she not seen any MAF season? Does she not realize there are talking heads? That in groups of people there's discussion on whether or not they've banged? She's on a fucking reality show! That's how it works.

I did enjoy how Michael and Stacey couldn't stop laughing at the doll discussion. I mean, it is so fucking stupid!
On Cathy and Josh, he was done with her after she got jealous that he was talking to that ugly recovering drug addict I can't remember the name of. And with good reason. No one want to be with someone that insecure.

Watching this now.
Mishel isn't pissed she's been "betrayed" she's pissed and hurt and embarrassed that he doesn't find her attractive. I don't blame her but her boing on and on about betrayal is fucking stupid.
And her voice is like nails on a chalkboard to me.

I'm not sure what Steve gained by telling Mishel he wasn't attracted to her as of YET, unless he feels that with time the attraction will grow and perhaps he wanted to clear the air b/c the experts wanted him to try to become more intimate with Mishel from last week's commitment ceremony. They are still sleeping in separate beds and separate bedrooms. I think Mishel is certainly attractive enough at least for Steve. He really is an odd duck, that one. He's got phobias and issues. Did we ever find out why he is unable to see his son in London? Are they estranged? He got so emotional that time opening up about it to Mishel. He seems to appreciate her getting him out of his comfort zone and I think he does truly like her, but I am afraid if the attraction has not grown by now, it never will.
Drew having a female roommate was not strange but the way he was acting about her was a bit odd. I also found it odd that when KC asked if he would put his wife before his female roommate, he couldn't really answer or at least he hesitated. Of course I don't believe that should be the case from the get go, as they are essentially strangers, but if they make a go of it, then most definitely his wife should be top priority over the roommate. I think that's all that KC wanted to know...that he'd put her first. He seemed unable to say that. And I don't think it's odd that he has female friends but why does Drew have so many? Has he no male friends? I did find that a bit odd.
Lizzie looks so much better as a brunette and without all that garish makeup. I did notice she was super thin but wasn't paying too much attention in the into so I hadn't noticed she had lost a bit of weight. Did her former 'spouse' really call her fat? Who was he cheating with? I can understand why she feels the need to be guarded, but if she's that much of a mountain of insecurities and lacking trust, she hasn't healed yet, and shouldn't be on the show. Seb seems like a sweetheart. He's going to need a lot of patience. Also, I agree with whomever said she must be tall. He's 6'6" and when standing next to him, there didn't seem to be a huge height disparity.
Mishel: There's nothing to gain by telling someone you aren't attracted to them...but, Mishel also was suggesting they fuck, so if you're rooming someone who said they want to fuck, maybe you drop that line to let them know you aren't interest.
Drew: I think the roommate question was odd. If they truly marry, there's no roommate unless he's so broke they can't live without a 3rd. Secondly, if he wanted to get it on with the roommate and he's already playing house with her, he's not going on this show unless he's a total famewhore (and if she's on it, she is one too). If I had a total stranger ask me if I'd put them before my friend/roommate, I'd probably be hesitant too. She's got some major insecurities and I'd be thinking: bitch, I don't know you yet but you're already striking me as insecure.
Seb: I think he's weird. And creepy. Lizzie is also odd. I don't buy that she's never been in love. I think she's one of those people that think "complicated" = interesting.

I feel like Lizzie has an odd shape -- noticed this in her pants. Even when she was heavier, she was thin on top.
As anorexic looking as she is, the pants on her looked weird. Her top half has never matched her bottom half.
