Does either scenario reflect better on Tyler as a member of the human race?

No! He shoulda taken his ass home so he could take "candid" instagram photos of Mama Angela making his favorite vegan enchiladas at her behest.

I find it hilarious whenever Day and Bay try to talk to David about Important Life Matters and he just sits there with no expression and interest.

Yeah where is David from? I feel like he just DOES. NOT. GET. IT.

  2. My thing is, maybe Tyler does support the black lives matters movement insomuch that he agrees that black unarmed people should not be gunned down by police without cause. However, this is bigger than that -- BLM has become a springboard to address the inequality and prejudice all POC have endured in this country. I'm not black but I am a minority and I stand for the cause! I got into an argument with a friend because he felt that people in Hollywood were starting to exploit this movement in order the forward their own careers. I had to explain to him that no, they are using this opportunity to delineate the prejudices existing not only in the criminal justice system but in all sectors of the world!

Sorry, maybe I feel too passionately about this and I'll shut my ass up now, but I find Tyler to be a reprehensible human being to even go there.

Tyler wanted to leave so they both could stay and Bay and Day are saying he was lowdown to use the cause in that way? Yikes, no good deed goes unpunished.

They should be grateful that he exploited the plight of black people in order to gain their trust and advance his game?! Please tell me I'm reading you wrong.. PLEASE!!!!!!

You guys could be right. We'll find out.

Nah, I don't think she'll have a blow-up because I think she has been very cautious about not having that repeat BB20 moment because she doesn't want to reinforce the stereotype of the angry black woman. Listen, I don't think Bayleigh is a bad person. We are all entitled to our emotions but I wish she would channel them in a healthier way. However, I can also acknowledge that it is sad that she can't fully express her range of emotions because of the burden she implicitly carries for her own race . Let's be real, if Rachel Reilly were in her position, she'd be causing a ruckus and would never have to consider how her explosive actions could reflect on a whole group of people, because it would never happen! It's just sad all around.

Well, that's certainly true! But that said, Bay has overall been very calm and reasonable so far in BB.

I don't know.. look at the way she snapped at Kaysar when he merely suggested that she needs to open her eyes because she and Day were the next targets (which, of course, she now sees he was correct!) Bayleigh hasn't had a blow up this season like in season 20, or even on The Challenge, but she she's very short-tempered and easily agitated. I agree that she is a beautiful girl so I hope she works on that part of herself, but I doubt she will since, in her own words, she is authentically abrasive.

OMG the way Bay snapped at Kevin because he dared to laugh. Listen, the "angry black female" is an unfortunately ugly stereotype that is pervasive in this country but Bay does herself no favors with her stank attitude. The best way I can think to describe her is 'a simmering pot ready to boil over.' Whereas Da'vonne is able to keep he composure and keep a pretty good poker face, Bay will let you know when she's upset either by her facial expressions or her tone. Her problem is she has no emotional regulation. I remember early on she was having a convo with Nicole A. about how she hates being around Tyler because he is intimidated of her "authentic abrasiveness," resulting in her having to feel like she has to walk on eggshells. Like whAAAAAAt?! Someone needs to tell her one should not strive to be abrasive as it is not a virtue and it does not make her any less authentic to try and comport herself with civility during times she's upset.

Yes, Tyler sucks but I think Bay sucks, too, which is why I liiiiiived for that blow-up scene in season 20; I had no skin in the game because I think they both suck lol.

ETA: Just to be clear, I hope no one thinks I'm excusing the way Christmas and the other girls were acting like Bay was going to kill them in their sleep. They were truly being ridiculous but I can see why others could be put off or even intimidated by her, especially when you got some weak ass bitches like Nicole in the house!

  7. Hadn't Bayleigh resigned herself to going home, too? That's just fucked up to get her hopes up like that at the 11th hr only to pull the rug from underneath her at the last minute. I have not watched a single episode since the week Janelle went home and I don't see that changing this season. Fuck 'em all!

Am I the only one here who doesn't mind Tyler, and is happy for him that he's so in love with Angela? I'm not a big fan or anything, but he seems like a nice person. He may or may not be a good BB player, but I sense he'd be very likeable and kind IRL.

     I'll show myself out. 😁

I just find him very bland --and his gameplay way overrated-- which is why his popularity to me is so mystifying. I think his superfans have veered me toward the hate column. You can't say one mildly critical word about him in other communities without being attacked. That's why you guys will always be my people 🙂

And @peachmangosteen 's disdain for him will never cease to be hilarious 😂

Tyler's not allowed to DOR, according to him. Which really means that Grodner told him that he loses his stipend/appearance fee if he walks. He can tell Christmas to backdoor him - I don't think there's anything in the rules preventing that. If you can volunteer to go up as a pawn, you can volunteer to be a backdoor.

This. Bayleigh threatened to quit in the DR at least once this season. Do you think Grodner came into the DR to speak to her personally about staying? Probably not. But Tyler threatened to quit so Grodner hauled ass in there to sweet talk and cajole him to stay and then threatened to take away his pay cheque if he left (which they usually do for DORs, anyway).

True but you bring up a good point as well.. what Tyler was essentially doing was DORing but trying to circumvent the rules in order to keep his paycheck. I don't blame Grodner for being like, "Dude either quit now and look like a coward to your fans or man up and play MY game!" Lol.. I mean I'm sure she coddled him instead but the msg was the same: you gotta play to get your pay!

What does that mean? Is the backdoor still on? Is he not allowed to tell Christmas to backdoor him? Why does this season continue to be the absolute WORST?

Yeah, I had trouble deciphering it at first as well but I think he's saying you can't volunteer to get put on the block with the intent of getting evicted. They have a similar rule on MTV's The Challenge, wherein you can't purposefully throw a challenge for the express purpose of being sent home. I guess the rule is in place because they're trying to make a compelling tv show (keyword: trying) but let's be real: if this were David, Grodner would be tripping over herself to help him pack his bags.

So I wasn't one of those people who were all "Ew, David. He doesn't belong on an All Stars season" because fuck you and who really cares. But earlier today, Dani, Cody, and Tyler had to explain to David how the Houseguest's Choice chip works in the Veto player drawing. I realize he was part of Camp Minorities and all but this is your second time in the house and you don't know how the fucking Veto draw works? Come on now.

He doesn't knwo shit. I know he was a recruit last season but you really couldn't be bothered to watch some clips before coming on All Stars 2? Ugh.. sorry, not a fan of David.

Kaysar / Janelle tried reaching out to Nicole A but she is not biting. They need try to scoop up at least Bay, Day, Xmas but fear it's too late.

Has she turned? I couldn't watch last night but the night before she was practically up Janelle's butt!

Kayser and Janelle have such huge targets on their backs, I can see why Memphis would be reluctant to hook up with them. Kayser needs younger allies who may not think that way and go for the "wow" i'm working with Janelle and Kayser.

That's what I don't get!! For people who are so acutely aware of fandom and popular opinion, I thought everyone would be tripping over themselves to play with BB legends like Jani and Kaysar. According to this poll on TVLine, everyone is rooting for Janelle to win with Tyler a close second, which is hella impressive for a player whose first season was 15 years ago:

Which 'Big Brother' All-Stars are you rooting for during Season 22? (Choose up to 3)

    Janelle Pierzina  13.35%

    Tyler Crispen  12.77%

    Cody Calafiore  10.04%

    Nicole Anthony  9.78%

    Nicole Franzel  9.33%

C'mon guys! Think about your social media points lol.

This is what I see happening too unfortunately. If Kaysar or Janelle don't win the next HOH there's no hope of this not happening imo.

So, who do we think are the people willing to work full force with them? I feel like everyone is playing scared this season, which is really disappointing for an All Stars season.

That's not the read I get at all. They had a great talk last night.

That's what he just told Kaysar. I'm not liking this talk at all.. it doesn't seem like Memphis is receptive to working with Kaysar/Janelle. I'm gettin BB12 vibes and I'm not liking it. It's going to be the bro alliance (brigade) vs Jani/Kaysar (Brendan/Rachel) with everyone else just coasting until they're ultimately evicted. Ugh! Someone tell me I'm reading this wrong, pleeeease!

Kaysar is trying to pep talk Kevin. I love Kaysar lol. Plus, he's even hotter now than he was in BB6/7.

Grrrrl.. his voice is like honey. I'm just layin back and being transfixed. lol

  17. Yeah, Kevin is another one, like Nicole A., who is seeking constant validation. He was telling Da'vonne and Nicole A. the other night that he would love to link up with some bros (I guess because he's always felt shunned by such types?). Nah he can go. Go to therapy to work on your unresolved high school trauma, Kevin, like the rest of us gaylings lol.
