Love how Missy turned into a grownup overnight. “Did you wash your hands?”  “I’m not air conditioning the whole neighborhood.”

I guess it could get old fast, but for now it’s funny. Maybe it’s the coffee.

That was 🤢 because he obviously went #2 ( they mentioned that he went in there with a newspaper) and didn’t wash his hands until she yelled at him.

  2. Tori said to Lilah 3 times, “ you’re not going to cry, are you going to cry?” Something along those lines. Any fool knows that you don’t put that thought  into the head of a little child that is facing something scary. Instead of comforting her and heading her in the right direction, she puts the crying into her little head. It really ticked  me off for some reason.

  3. I don’t know what genre this show is ..I would call it Mildly spoofy? But I’m enjoying it so far except I don’t know how she’s going to get away with stealing all of Carol Burnett’s jewelry and is she in a fancy nursing home? I’m surprised nothing has disappeared before that unless Kristen Wigg had a key &  it is locked up after she leaves. And of course they are betting on inheriting all the money and you know there’s gonna be a wrench thrown in there somehow.

I'm almost done with my favorite show.  There's the choppiness from too many plot threads, the deleted scenes and (sorry) so many accents I can't decipher.  I just feel lost.

Trixie's bad driving was tedious and Not Funny.  Almost hitting a baby carriage?  Hilarious?

And a cat! Women drivers, aren’t they the worst?! 🤬

Don't kill me, I'm 65 and have "great hair" and have never had hormone therapy, but I started out with too much hair so there is that.  I wonder how long that's going to last!  So perhaps it's just genetics.  I wish she would cut it a few inches, though.  I just like it better the way she had it before.

Victoria's weight is like the elephant in the room, no pun intended (seriously, no).  I have to imagine that Theresa must talk about it with her daughter off camera but on camera it's silence.  I guess if she has medical issues they may not want to disclose that on the show.  It doesn't help that she wears the same ginormous oversized  tee shirt all the time.   She is an attractive young woman and is not doing herself justice.   I get it that she is a SAHM and has more on her mind than her appearance, but there are health concerns too.

I started out with too much hair also and I guess I should be thankful for that, Since it is been thinning. I guess it all comes down to genetics.

truthfully, I don’t like her doing this personality.

  6. Teresa’s daughter needs a dietician. I can only imagine she’s not going to lose all of the baby weight and wind up at an even more on unhealthy weight
teresa’s hair is absolutely otherworldly. I’m always jealous of people post menopause who have great hair, but it usually is due to hormone replacement therapy and it seems like she is doing the max. I don’t know about that doctor can’t really tell but she does seem hormone happy. . Doesn’t anybody care about the cancer risks anymore?

I didn't understand anything Doreen said and missed some of the other's lines.  I don't have very good sound on my TV and it's really hard when the background music over plays the dialogue, so I'm best off watching it on my computer the next day.

Good story with the young woman having cerebral palsy and her nice boyfriend alongside the abusive husband.

It's insulting to viewers and misleading to folks who don't know anything about real estate and construction.

Agreed. I’m sure it cost quite a bit just to demolish that house and then clean up & dispose of the materials.

It was in one of the live versions, I think. I haven't seen it on the online sites, either.  The original lyrics to Money For Nothing have been changed, too -- there's one verse that's always left out on the radio now, though you can find them online.

When you go to a live concert, you never know what to expect or what you were going to hear them say, but that isn’t an original lyric.

    They say the c-word!

    (also, I'm a boomer.)

Where exactly is this? I think this is an urban myth or something because I listened to this song when it first came out incessantly as on the radio (it would have been bleeped) …and the album and never heard them  say that word.

This. For god's sakes, I used to sing along to J. Geils Band's "Centerfold" as a kid. I guarantee I didn't have the first clue what the song was about, I just liked the "Na, na, na..." part :p.

The best way to ensure kids will find out what a song is about, however, is for the adults in their lives to make a big production out of talking about it and making it a far bigger deal than it really needs to be. If the adults don't raise a fuss in the first place, the kids aren't going to care or pay attention one way or another. These kinds of complaints about song lyrics have nothing to do with "protecting the children" and everything to do with adults trying to project their personal discomforts onto kids to justify banning stuff they personally don't like.

We were singing along to The Kinks, Lola on the radio. Many, many ,many, songs we sang  along with are not for children, but I don’t think it hurt us one bit. Basically we didn’t know what we were saying. It was just fun to sing. I suppose it’s one thing to do it on your own, but to sing some of these songs at  a school  recital would not be appropriate although the ones they are talking about I don’t seem to make a lot of sense.

They really did a good job of making this new house look not like a new build (and yes, on Maine Cabin Masters they are always talking about how much quicker a new build than is an old build - who would think?).  I actually thought the first rendition of it was cuter than the eventual final product (it had a curved piece over the doorway and Erin replaced it with an awning which made it square) but otherwise it was truly a cute house.  There was not a separate office by the way - as I understood it they will use the second bedroom as an office until they have children and hopefully by then can expand the home (or maybe move their tiny home nearby and he can use that for an office...LOL!).  It was a very satisfying build - the high ceilings made the house look much larger than its almost 800 sf size.

I came here to say the same thing. She took that beautiful curved piece over the doorway and put a run of the mill in my opinion, ugly striped awning over the door. yuck. The architects rendition was much more user-friendly and beautiful. Hers was just ugly and common.

I called bullshit on that demolition,  new house construction and all the interior to cost only $150,000 no way…do they think we were born yesterday?

Ha, with the Berkley house, she got her ranch, sorta and he got a staircase. Unless he wakes up when their baby is born, her attorney will use Dave’s Place to get her a better settlement in the divorce. WTF? He’s been doing some laundry! Aw, Dave is so amazing, in Dave’s head.

I get needing some space sometimes, but deliberately creating a world of your own—she gets the kitchen, I guess—with planned exits sucks. She must have really wanted to be married.

On a side note, why would you chose “this post is ok, I just wanted to tell a mod about it?” WTAH is that?

I think women need an escape room just as much if not more especially if you are a stay at home mom then the husband does. What a bunch of babies

and yes, I agree 100% I say WTF is that as far as the post is OK I just want to tell a moderator about it. What is happening to this place? It was bad enough before.

What exactly the **** happening here? What are they trying to do just alienate at least half of us? This is mind blowing. This is a TV movie, etc. review conversation website not an exploration of our woke feelings. my God this is all part of what’s going terribly wrong in this country. Was this really such a big problem here? I’ve never read anything that would lead to this ..Let people speak. No one has to agree with everyone else. We are all capable of having adult conversations. I wish there was another forum to go to because I’m really starting to get agita. I’m afraid to post half the things I want to and believe me they are not controversial, but they are nitpick apart and found to have something wrong with them and then you are reprimanded given points told you may be thrown out, etc..

It was a long break — long enough to break the habit. And the new mission statement struck me as meh. I came for the snark. Maybe there are show forums that are problematic,  I’m not there. Also, I looked at the big list of new shows, and hadn’t heard of any of them.

Full disclosure, I deleted a bunch of unwatched HH eps. Lots of Florida, Alabama, descriptions of bs drama—zzzzzz.

There are definitely a few show forums  that are problematic and it  has to do with overseeing of comments & people  easily offended turning others  in. Very disappointed that the results of the poll are more policing and supervising of every comment. This used to be a great place to come for the Snark. If things got too out of hand, then of course someone needs to step in,but this place is harsh.
I was hoping it  would get better not worse as far as freedom of speech.
unfortunately this is pretty much the only busy tv site left .

Yes, the actress is terrific and she should be getting equal time with the Nell character.

I binge watched this show over the summer. LOVE IT! So glad to have scripted tv back.

Also, what happened to Lisa Rinna’s face? Botox? Fillers? Botched surgery? I barely recognize her.

Just catching up on the show, I love it. But yes, Lisa Rinna’s face kept taking me out of every scene, dear God, she ruined a perfectly lovely face with all that plastic surgery, and those clown lips.
