  1. Really glad that KM’s Kristina didn’t automatically get paired with a guy. I am enjoying Blaze with her. Also liked that Blaze didn’t come down on Kristina for her feelings about the baby. I do think if TJ/Molly or even Alexis heard this they would really overreact. Also pleased that they got an actual love scene and not just a kiss and then they are in bed together. Have to think that the Stone name drop is a mislead as I don’t think John would use his brother and son’s name like that.
  2. So Anna, Dante, and Jordan all had issues John and the Feds not wanting to share and work together and what do they do when the Feds start working with them? They work on a plan to get information before the Feds and discuss the case with unauthorized personnel. Yeah can’t stand Diane’s smugness. Really annoyed that Finn was cleared but Diane didn’t really lose. I really wanted her to suffer a humbling loss.
  3. Okay maybe the feds would be more interested in working with you if Anna and Jordan hadn’t pursued the case after being told not to when they were not law enforcement and then withheld information.
  4. I have to admit I like the new actor playing Jagger/John. Granted Jagger was leaving right when I really started watching as a kid. (Started watching when the Spencers came back). So I am not really as bothered by the recast. Hopefully he remains a noncorrupt and competent law enforcement agent. I do like that even though he was reluctant he still went to Sonny to warn him as it was the right thing to do. I don’t think they are trying to sweep away what happened between them before as when Sonny tried to put them on equal footing for treating Karen bad since Jagger cheated on her, John shut that down. I hope that they allow him to discuss what Sonny was like when he was first brought on. Watching old YouTube clips of them and wow I remember Sonny being pretty bad but they were already working on redeeming him a bit when I started. Also funny about the recast as watching these early Jagger and Karen clips there is a switch of actors playing AJ from a guy who looks more like Alan/Ned and BW AJ but taller then comes Sean Kannan later on. Kind of think this new actor would probably have been a better recast for Drew than CM. I do think the heavy handedness of the Nina is bad/wrong is just ridiculous only to be matched by Carly is awesome and can easily do what Nina can do but only better.
  5. This was a good episode but not sure if that is because it was good or this season has set the bar low. Ric is dying soon. That speech with Josie screamed dead man walking. Usually love Kaleb but his whole attitude towards MG is confusing and annoying. Wow Elena's house. Ric really is dead. Hope and Lizzie reconciliation was too soon and forced.
  6. I really hope that this was intentional by the writers and not them not remembering their own show but Hope saying Landon would do the same if things were reversed was ridiculous since he was telling her basically the same thing MG was telling the group when the Saltzman family was in the prison world. Hell he was against Hope astral projecting because he thought it might be too dangerous.
  7. The best I can say about this episode is that it was a good season 3 episode. It definitely better than other episodes this season. So are we supposed to be rooting for Hope and Landon? This episode didn't really make me want to root for them. MG and Lizzie are still having the best scenes this season. Though there was an issue but I will bring that up later. Liked the Cleo and Kaleb interactions but worry the show is going to force it too fast like they do with Josie's relationships. There has to be some twist with Landon coming back. Either that isn't really him and the stalker is the real Landon or maybe that stalker is tied to the wish Hope made. The episode had some weird editing. The Hope/Jo/Finch scene was apparently longer based on promo pics released before the episode. Also Lizzie helps MG steal the ascendant before the scene where she and Alaric finds out Hope went to Josie for help.
  8. From what Alaric said they must have scooped up the contents of the leprechaun's belly and paid back the townies. Not sure what they were paying back but he did say they still had enough to pay the lien off. This and last week's issue bring up a problem the show has: Caroline. There is no way in hell she would have allowed these issues to have occurred. Hell I doubt she trusted Alaric to pay the taxes. Regarding MG and the ascendant, the reason was briefly mentioned in 3x4. As long as the Necromancer remains in the prison world Alyssa was safe since technically she is still bound to him and could do to her what he did to Chad and almost did to Raf. I think that everyone was willing to believe Alyssa had destroyed it. I think MG did lie because he cared for her and wanted to protect Alyssa. I think he kept it a secret not wanting others to get mad at him but also because he had searched the prison world and couldn't find Landon. I agree that there is something up with Cleo but not sure she will be bad. Also have a theory about Finch. She is kind of giving off the Tyler vibe season1. I think she will end up a werewolf and will end up activating her werewolf side after killing Ethan. He won't die as will get turned so that those two can be brought to the school and bring Josie back.
  9. Oh show why do you hurt me like this? This could have been a fun episode but again this Landon storyline is choking the life out of the show. Everything revolves around him, Hope's obsession, why the school is in financial trouble, why MG is going to be getting flack in the next episode, and hell you can even connect Josie's storyline to Landon since she isolated herself because of the dark Josie period but that came about because of Landon's brother and Josie being jealous and protective in regards to Landon. We need more MG and Josie scenes along with Kaleb and Lizzie scenes. Best parts of the episode.
  10. When he first came on I hated that he was basically brought in to be Emily's love interest and another wayward teen to go down the mafia path with Sonny. I wanted him to be Sly, Lucky's cousin. If they could bring him back I would want him to be Sly still or maybe even Lucky. He is needed back on the show.
  11. For the love of God let this be the end of the Necromancer and the grieving for Landon with full flashbacks. Both have overstayed their welcome. Like Cleo so far but will need to see more her and how the writers write for her. Not feeling Finch and Josie. It feels like they are trying too hard with them. Hell at this point I prefer Josie and Ethan together based on their interactions so far.
  12. Lizzie and MG astral projected into the prison world like Hope did last year and Jeremy was able to do with Kai's help in TVD. So they just use a magical item to make a wish with very little known about it, what could go wrong?
  13. Better episode. Still the continuous killing Landon off only for him to be brought back is getting ridiculous. Not sure what to think of the whole forgetting about and then remembering Hope and Landon being done off screen. Certain things are still being rushed or just handwaved. So is the fact that the therapy box has twice concluded that Hope and Landon shouldn't/can't be together without Hope sacrificing other parts of herself supposed to make want them together or not? They really put little effort into Josie's female love interests. What are the odds this one gets more then 3 more episodes?
  14. I think it was one of the writers who said this episode was going to be an emotional roller-coaster but they were wrong. Rollercoasters have a slow build up reaching an apex before coming hurtling down. This episode was more like a waterfall. Emotionally felt flat while speeding to end which crashes straight down. Is Landon's dying again or Hope and Landon being apart again supposed to have an effect on me? It is honestly surprising how badly they have written Hope and Landon compared to how well they are building up (hopefully) MG and Lizzie. I am invested in one pairing while wanting to badly separate the other. Interested to see what Josie how she does on her own. P
  15. The episode was fun for the most part. I don't think they really gave Kaylee the best songs to show her range but Chris, Danielle and Jenny had some good songs to shine with. I can't stop shaking my head at some things I had read from fans before the episode especially about Kaleb being Damon. It really was racist while proclaiming there problem wasn't that he was black but just didn't have the right look/feel to be Damon but were also the ones who thought Landon would have been a perfect Damon. Yeah the Bonnie criticism is fair in her treatment but not being in the scenes we saw of the play. The criticism of not having enough female characters on the show is valid. So this was another episode that was written for last year which means that in season 2 hope and Landon would have had some kind of fight/break up like 4-5 times only to get back together an episode later. This is ridiculous. So Josie kisses another girl a couple of times and then the girl leaves. I have the bad feeling if the next love interest is a guy it definitely be more like her and Landon rather than her and Jade.
  16. The first 2-3 episodes of this season were already filmed last year before they stopped due to the pandemic. They just hadn't edited them and they thought 2-16 was a good season ender which is also why the whole non-consensual kiss line in 2-16 is worse when you realize that first episode would have followed the next week if they hadn't made that decision.
  17. A little bit better of an episode than last week but not by much. Mainly liking Landon not having his Phoenix powers. Of course the episode had many problems starting with the whole Raf is dying but ultimately gets saved. Sort of because the actor and the character is still gone. Only bright side is that I believe this episode was filmed pre pandemic so hopefully that means he didn't have to go back just to be written out immediately. The whole episode being so focused on his dying made it obvious that there was going to be some sort of twist that instead of feeling sad I was just waiting for the twist. If you are going to write out the character let him die and make it a good death. Ultimately they decided to cheat death again making the threat of it less impactful. Which is a good way to bring up the use of the sphinx. The Necromancer is falling for the the same thing Alaric did by putting too much meaning into what was said instead of asking further information. Yes his plan to raise Mal and the other demons may succeed but for how long? And let's be real if a student is going to die either it will end up being Alyssa in a twist or it will just be Hope triggering her vampire side. Wow the whole Arthur thing from last week was just for the first scene of the episode. Also was this like the first time Lizzie spoke to Raf since the whole birthday incident in season one? Man I wish this was the end of Hope and Landon but not expecting that. Hell not even expecting it to last one full episode. So either Bonnie knows what is going on with the prison world and is giving the school some blood every so often or when Lizzie said her dad has hiding spots it was just code for having Bonnie tied up somewhere having blood drawn when they need it. Honestly 50-50 on which option is more likely with these writers. Regarding the one in, one out theory, it's hard to argue with considering you can also draw that conclusion with Penelope in a couple of ways. First there is Penelope out, Alyssa in. Then there can be Penelope out, Ethan's sister in but then she was out (but some how the brother becomes a regular, yeah that's not saying something), Jade in. However Jade looks out without any one in at the moment. Regarding Alyssa I really wish I could enjoy the character even in the way with Klaus, Rebekah and Katherine in TVD but can't. Just never seen anything likeable or redeemable about her.
  18. To be fair it's hard to take Alyssa's side either since Josie only killed her under the influence of a lot of dark magic that Josie would never have been under if Alyssa didn't send the twins to the prison world. Which I wish Lizzie had used instead of the parents. Something has to happen and one of the main characters has to die because they really cheat death too much on this show. Since the next episode is still supposed to have been part of last season I think either Alaric or Raf are going to die. There needs to be a price.
  19. Ok let me get this straight last episode Hope was against kissing 'sleeping' Josie to wake her up as that would be nonconcential but this episode the only way to wake her up was with a kiss. I missed the first half of the episode so maybe there is more to it than that but really seems contradictory messages. Raf could have an interesting story but that is wait and see. Like the switch of roles where Lizzie seems to be getting her life in order and Josie is the one needing help. Liking how they are going with MG and Lizzie. Wish I could feel the same about Landon and Hope. They are cute and all but I feel they have been doing the same thing with them since season one. Honestly feel the actress playing Hope has chemistry with almost everyone paired with her that I want to see those other dynamics explored.
  20. Just had a thought from reading the comments about it being weird that Bo is being so rigid about taking the sword now when she did it before and mocked the Children of the Watch as zealots, but maybe it is because of those zealots she can't take it now. In Rebels those already following her and Sabine accepted her as the leader and wielder of the Dark Sabre but never saw how the other Mandalorians reacted. I could totally see Mando's people not accepting Bo as the rightful leader if she didn't earn the Dark Sabre the traditional way. And if one clan wouldn't accept her there is a chance others wouldn't. But as mentioned by me and others, I think how she lost it factors into it as well. Also we don't know what exactly the Empire did to Mandalore and how it happened.
  21. A couple responses Ashoka was trained to be a Jedi but did walk away from it. Grogu still seems to be in the youngling stage before becoming a Padawan. He has power but doesn't have full control so he can go with Luke for that but still decide not to become a full fledged Jedi. Sabine also didn't win the Dark Sabre in combat. The last one who had it was Maul. He was dead when Bo accepted it the first time. So be handed it by someone else it didn't rightfully belong to may have been more acceptable. Plus we have never found out how exactly Moff Gideon got it in the first place. That may be a factor in this as well.
  22. Okay maybe it's just because I'm a huge Star Wars nerd, but man when I saw the lone X-Wing come into view and Cara's comment about what could one person do, I had chills. Definitely think we'll see the child again next season but wonder when. I think Mando could see how the child was reacting to Luke and knew Grogu wanted and needed to go with Luke. But as he said they will see each other again. I have to hand it to Sasha Banks, I actually believed her when she said she wasn't going to be in another episode this season. I still thought Bo would show up on her own. Wonder if she will be getting 'injured' soon so she can film for next season and be off WWE TV. It had been interesting to see that they really have kept Bo very grayish character wise. While she has been working with Mando, there has been this underlying feeling that if pushed she could go real dark. Which seeing Mando unwittingly become the possessor of the Dark Sabre makes me think she could flip from ally to enemy by the end of next season.
  23. Holy crap! I was not expecting that episode and to almost cry over this show. Seriously this was a really good episode. I also like how they seem to be setting up a potential Ivy/Harley relationship.
  24. I think they may be setting up Lucia and Allison but also thinking they are setting up Lucia crushing on the director only to find out that the director and Allison are together. That comment about Allison withholding could be innocuous but could also be something someone says about their significant other. Yes the hair touching was too intimate and inappropriate in many different ways
  25. Yep I'm agreeing with those saying this wasn't a clear case of right and wrong with Alaric. Kai's prison world might have been wrong but some place to put supernaturals that are too dangerous isn't wrong. Hell we have juvenile detention or depending on the circumstances even adult prisons for kids underage. Also just because Alaric allowed his friends to do things doesn't mean he thought it was right or that he would want to let his children think it's fine. Plus there is also the difference that he is responsible for the students and their actions where as his friends are responsible for their own actions. It is also unfortunate that the others like Caroline, Bonnie or even Emma aren't on the show because we know they are in contact and counseling Alaric but we don't know specifically what they know or advised. So Alaric is the one that faces the consequences when things go haywire. Also people keep mentioning counseling but these students had been getting counseling because that was what we saw last year was Emma 's job and we can assume she was counseling these kids because in the Alyssa flashbacks she mentioned to Alaric that Alyssa wasn't like the others. You know this would have been great use for Raf where we could have seen how they teach new werewolves through this so we can actually judge if this guy was just dark or if there was an issue with what was being taught. This does bring up the question about the parents. Were these three also orphans or sent away by their families? If not what do the parents know? That's the big issue I have with this is the show won't go into the deeper levels and is just dealing with the surface level. Which just leaves us judging Alaric without knowing all the facts. I will this whole storyline with Dark Josie, Kai, the prison world have been the best part of the season as opposed to the villain of the week and the whole Hope/Landon saga.
