  1. Sharon looked absolutely stunning in her dress and I thought all the wedding decor, including the bridesmaids' dresses, were really lovely. Noah's speech to his parents was so endearing and I felt SC, JM and RA really brought it in those scenes. So it was really disappointing for me that Sharon couldn't have just this ONE day to be special. All those anvils about Faith freaking about "bad luck" because Nick saw Sharon's wedding dress, Nick's proclamations about nothing going to stop them from getting married, the ridiculous gift of Phyllis's earrings Summer gave to Sharon, etc. wasn't for nothing. Shick had a beautiful wedding...until Monster-Mashing FrankenPhyll ruined it with her appearance near the end. I really was hoping they would just let Shick be married before Phyllis busted in, but nope. Maybe it is just me, but I felt Sharon should have been allowed to have a beautiful wedding without that freak Phyllis ruining it, but alas I was expecting far too much from these writers. Sigh. Apparently SuperPyllis talked the cop into letting her go (as if!!!) so she could get to the chapel in time to ruin the wedding. Then she collapses to the floor mid zombie-stride towards Sharon! Lol. How totally hokey that was! So, it will be interesting to see if Sharon and Nick actually get to seal the deal when/IF the SECRET comes out. I'm so ready for this SECRET to be done with already. I'm bored with it.
  2. I never bought into Villy from day one. They seemed forced to me, and Billy Miller appeared to be just walking through the role as time went on and the show kept pushing Villy as some slap-stick romantic duo. As many of you commented during BM's last 2 years on the show, he seemed to be just phoning it in and seemed bored. And it really showed, IMO. I do feel bad for DT. It's got to be a tough pill to swallow that he was fired from a role he originated! But he really did not fit the role after BM and as hard as he tried, he just wasn't cutting it, especially as a romantic partner for Victoria. DT and AH had NO chemistry. If that rumour about Angelica McDaniel wanting DT in the role despite misgivings by JFP is true, I can see why JFP pulled the plug on DT's Billy as soon as she could. Rather than change directions with Billy (i.e. pulling him away from the Villy pairing) and changing course with the intended Billy-Victoria-Stitch triangle, she fired DT. This reminds me of the disgusting treatment Maura West's "Diane" suffered at the hands of EP MAB when CBS (or was it Sony?) forced her hand to hire MW. It seemed obvious to me that MAB got sadistic pleasure out of destroying Diane and gleefully awaited firing MW. I guess EPs really don't like when CBS/Sony brass step on their toes regarding casting choices.
  3. That's what I was thinking also. Whatever works best for you Peach. I find your recaps hilarious in both formats!
  4. Ha! I share the same UO as well because I like Cricket also. In the early days she was the Anti-Phyllis, so I was Team Cricket 100%! While she was pretty bland for the most part, it didn't really bother me that she was front and centre all the time - she was the boss's daughter after all so I wasn't surprised. As long as she was driving that sicko Phyllis insane with jealousy, it was a delight watching Cricket torment her just by being alive! Lol. Good times.
