She can not blame colorism because Candiass is also a brown skinned girl like Monique.

I think it's old fashioned classism.

On Netflix, I watch movies from Nigeria, South Africa, India.  A lot of these movies focus on the class/caste system.  In America, we have classism, however in America the class system is also racist, so here classism and racism are intertwined.  I think a lot of black people (maybe a lot of them gooniques) think there shouldn't be classism among black people, at least among black Americans.

I am the complexion of Karen/Gizelle/Robyn.  I was in Hansel and Gretel (a more urban version of Jack and Jill) and those girls looked down on me because my father wasn't a professional.  So I get that.   But at some point, you have to let that shit go.

Monique seems to be like, "Look at me NOW, I have the MAN, the MONEY (his money really) the HOMES.  I'm SOMETHING.  LOOK AT MEEEEE."  And if someone says something about her marriage, she'll go all ham on them, because that's her identity. MRS Chris Samuels.

    Insecure.

I know and I find all of this really, really frightening and disturbing.
I remember going home from some very bad days work years ago and doing my WII boxing pretending that I was fighting my idiot boss. I felt much better after that, lost weight and lived to survive another day in that nightmare.

Monique committed physical violence on another co-worker and employee. only on Bravo are there no consequences for this crap.

Sadly, that's the world we live in.  Everything is upside down.  Bullies are heroes.  Gooniques are probably former and present school bullies.

The reason why the fight keeps getting discussed is a) Monique keeps insisting she was "triggered," refuses to apologize, continues to have her pack of followers attack Candiace, and refuses to admit that she was in the wrong and b). people who dislike Candiace - including Monique and all of her social media minions - keep offering excuses about why Monique's behavior was justified. If those things didn't continue to take place, then I doubt any of us would continue to talk about it.

Not only that but, as I understand it, Gizelle and Robyn can't even live tweet the show because of all the Gooniques coming to defend their queen.

The elephant in the room about Uncle Beau and WHY Natalie isn't comfortable with him is really frustrating me.

What is the elephant in the room about Uncle Beau?

Ewww, Natalie, lipstick on teeth.  Check yourself girl.

  5. Monique definitely blamed her actions on Candiace.  She sounded like an abuser who says to the one they have abused, “why did you make me hit you?”

And it sounds like Monique will launch into another of her greatest hits to Gizelle, “that’s why you ain’t got no man.”

Monique is one of those women who thinks a woman is nothing without a man.  She is  male identified to the core.

“Buster Douglas put together a thirst book” - I’m dead.  🤣🤣

    😂

Monique is a piece of work.  Is she human?  Does she have emotions?  Sociopath, unable to feel empathy for others.

What mother of three fights other women in the street?  Seems a bit hood rat-ish to me?

I really don’t care for Leva.  She came out of the blue and seems to be taking over.  I don’t care how many restaurants she has.  I’d rather have Cameron back, but that won’t happen thanks to Miss Katherine.  I liked the old gang the way it was.  It’s very different now without the regulars.  Even Patricia has become more obnoxious, and I’m not liking that too.

I like Leva.  I think change is good.  Nothing ever stays the same and I just have to accept that.

Yeah, I was like, you aren’t in the US, heifer. Taking German in high school must have been an easy A for her since one parent was German. The saving grace of the episode was my sweetie Kevin! He’s a doll! 😍

She was awful, awful, awful.  However, I got the feeling she does all the heavy lifting in that relationship and he lets her.

For me, I pre-hate any woman with spiral curls, so I loathed her as soon as I saw her. (Someone could redeem herself; she did not.)

What's wrong with spiral curls.  Curly girl here and a bit offended.

I'm also a huge Kat fan and supporter.  The thing with Kat is that she messes up, but when she's on, she's a star and you can't take your eyes off her.

I agree.  That's the thing with Kat, no matter what, you can't take your eyes off of her.

It was interesting when someone said they didn't notice Jada.  Jada may be a better dancer than Kat, but she's kind of just...there.

I really like how well the girls are taking the cuts this season. So well spoken and mostly composed! I think Kat and Meredith are beautiful but they both should have been cut.

I think that what saves the vets this.  I know you can do better and just because you're not good today doesn't mean you suck.  But if you're a rookie and you suck on the field, we'll cut you.

Strange comments about Jada; I love her but I don't get this fascination about her hair.  Check out curly girls on YouTube.

I like Sydney and I don't see "bottom heavy" at all.

  11. Here is my totally UO for this reunion.

I think Andy should have taken the "receipt book" away from Monique and thrown it in the trash where it belongs.

    Why?

Because in life things are progressive.  This year Monique comes at the women with a receipt book, next reunion someone will come with an iPad showing a live video or something.  The next thing you know, they're attacking each other and it becomes the Bad Girls Club.

You can't open the door to that type of behavior.  That is why Andy stopped allowing props when Porsha attacked Kenya on RHOA.

That being said, I’m *always* down with the Kathryn-bashing because she sucks. Loved that Leva mentioned her tired out baby-voiced damsel in distress routine that all the guys coddle her over. She’s never been a girl’s girl and she never will be. I’m sure Patricia was thrilled to not pretend to like her anymore.

What was funny was you see Leva, Madison and Patricia talking and then you see Kathryn sitting with the boys, talking to them in her baby voice, yuk.

That was quite the scene.  Not to mention Leva smirking at the idea of knocking Kathryn down when Leva is the new girl this season.  I want to like Leva, but she’s coming across as a mean girl. I was really uncomfortable watching while these 3 women “decide” Kathryn’s fate on the show, like 3 cackling puppet masters.  Speaking of offensive, I found that whole scene to be in poor taste.  Tsk Tsk Patricia, I don’t think Emily Post would approve of your lack of decorum.

I don't think Leva should kiss Kathryn's ass simply because she's the "new girl."

I didn't feel uncomfortable watching the three of them talking about Kathryn at all, why should I, they were right.   Kathryn plays "Damsel in Distress" and the boys all come running.  Don't feel sorry for her at all.

  13. I loved it.

I loved that the last words were, "May the Force be with you."  It ain't Star Wars if no one says that.

Din always knew he had to give Grogu up and I knew that a Jedi would come looking for him.  I didn't expect Grogu to stay with Din, it wouldn't have made sense.

Everything has to come to an end.

ETA:  And I saw "A New Hope" when it first came out.  In fact, I think I saw it three times that summer.

And not for nothing, but I liked Leonard's character so much better than hers and wished her character died on the show instead of his.  Ali Larter has always rubbed me the wrong way and now I know why.

    BTW, where is she today?

I've watched the first episode so far. I thought it was pretty interesting. Her reaction to the interviewee suggesting he was thinking of robbing them was kind of priceless

Mariana seemed to try to get us to feel sorry for the Jamaican scammers given their history, but notice she didn't try to do that with the Israeli ones.

Probably because the Jamaican scammers were doing to to survive, while the Israeli's seemed to be doing it to buy large boats and just have more money for....buying more shit.

I'm surprised they weren't doing the love scams there.

I'm watching the steroids one now.  Why anybody would take that shit is shocking.

It was interesting when Mariana was talking to the medical doctor and he said something like, "this is beyond the science of today" LOL.  So is it possible that a drug company could make some kind of steroid with no side effects in the future?

Gizelle references race a lot - she can teach her kids not to trust certain races and have it ingrained in their young minds that white people are competition - you have to be twice as smart.... white kid sitting next to you.  IDC she sounds like a racist idiot.

I'm confused.  What is racist to say if you're Black you have to be twice as smart?  That's not a fantasy, nor is it racist, it's true.
