  1. I like Gabby.

I don't think she's a Mary Sue (WTF is that anyway?)

Whoa, the Chief's going to be a daddy!

How do we know Jones didn't write letters to other members of her family?  Or maybe her family sucked as badly as her father.  I know if that was my dad I wouldn't have written him shit.

  2. I don't hate Nene, but at some point you have to let go of your past and stop using your childhood as an excuse for behaving like an asshole. I'd say at nearly 50, it's time.

Not an excuse but it's not an easy thing to stop reacting to things in the present from the viewpoint of who you were when you were a child. I mean, I think many people react to things like they were a child.  Some people just do it in different ways.  Nene's way is more public, but people use things like alcohol/drugs/sex/work/shopping.  I'm speaking of doing them to excess, or doing them so you don't have to deal with your feelings.  Like Nene always buying red bottom shoes is like a kid who thinks, "if I have all of this stuff, I"ll be okay, I will have arrived."  But it's never enough.  Plenty of people in their fifties and sixties still live like that.

  3. I don't have any hatred of Nene.  What I see when I look at her is a grown woman who is acting out the way she probably had to when she was a child.  In other words, she doesn't act appropriately to the situation.  What I mean is, if you were told as a child that you weren't good enough; then as an adult you might want, want, want things, shoes, purses, homes, all so you'll feel good enough, but it never truly works.  I do this, and then I think about it later and realize what I'd done.

I bet that Nene was taught that it was wrong to make a mistake, of when she made a mistake she was punished severely for it and not told why it was a mistake and why the punishment, so now she's a woman who's never wrong, who never makes a mistake.  I know many people like that.

The problem for me with Nene is that it's painful to see her act that way because I know it stems from lack, believing in scarcity, that there's not enough to go around and if I don't grab it, even if I have to step on you to do it, I won't get mine.

Nene is very exhausting to watch, but I don't hate her.

  4. I detest Kenya because she's one of those people who will slay a person with words.  She knows damn well that physical violence is the ultimate and she uses that to her advantage.  I detest people like that.  Just because you're not hitting someone doesn't mean it's not violent; that's what verbal abuse is about.  How would Kenya feel if someone told her that Velvet died so violently because of Kenya's bad karma?

  5.

Lady Olena and Margery killed Joffrey.  I’ll bet any amount of money on that fact.  Margery is legally married to Joffrey.  And now his widow.  She is Queen.  No one is higher than her.   She rules Kings Landing.  I can bet that was the plan all along.

Joffrey was at the ABSOLUTE PINNACLE of his prick-ness!  We all know he behaves badly, but this took the cake.  No pun intended.  Good bye and good riddance.  I hope Jack Gleeson receives a nomination for his portrayal of King Joffrey.   One of the best acted characters in TV History.

I agree with that.  I can see Olena and Margery killing that little shit; I mean would you want your daughter/granddaughter/sister/aunt/mother marrying that?

I noticed Cersei nearly knocking Margaery down too and for one little second I felt sorry for Cersei, and then it passed, like bad gas.

  6. I wouldn't put it past Tywin Lannister to off his own grandson; he was probably as sick of little Joffrey Bieber as everybody else (except Cersei).

Loras was right, Jamie can't marry his sister, sorry, he can only fuck her.

Cersei is getting what she deserves, her daughter married off and now her douche-bag prick of a son was poisoned, as Cersei once told Sansa (in season 2 I think) that women only get joy from their children.  Well now Cersei has lost a lot of that joy and I don't feel sorry for her at all.

  7. I don't have a problem with Gabby but she acts like a sixteen year old, someone needs to tell her to grow up.

I don't get the "Mary Sue" but that's just me.   Nice to have a woman of color that's desirable, usually the woman of color is regulated to the "best friend" status, while the blonde is the one everybody loves.  Nice to see it this way for a change.

  8. I don't like Nene but I don't hate her.  I don't get glee out of people not doing well, especially if they haven't done anything to me personally.  Nene has a big ego, so what?  So do a lot of people.  Nene needs humility, so do most people in show business.  So what, Nene was a stripper?  I don't get why that's such a "Big Deal," lots of women strip, it beats selling drugs or knocking someone in the head and stealing their purse.  Actually, I don't have any feelings for Nene, I don't adore or nor do I hate her.  She's just a non factor on a silly reality show that I like watching.

  9. No matter what happens, or who it happens to, Aviva can make everything about her.  She was upset when Heather said "motherfucker," yet she used those same words when she spoke to the machine that injured her.  And she's even more vile on her blog.  So Heather is ghetto and a thug, but you're a saint?  Oh please, no canonization for Saint Aviva-Diva today.

  10.

This was one of the best and most satisfying series finale's that I have ever seen. The writers and actors told a story that honored the characters' friendship and love for one another. It was a beautiful farewell.

I agree.  I don't think it's necessary all the time to end series with doom and gloom.  Happiness is just as real as sadness.

I thought this show was better than the original UK version, which IMO fell apart the fourth season.

The UK version made the mistake of getting rid of 3/4 of the cast at the start of season 4

This show had the good sense to realize that the cast worked well together.  I think it ended right where it should have because I was bored last season and it seemed that this season was a repeat of past seasons. I mean how many times can Josh and  Nora's relationship go through the wringer?  How many times can Aidan fall in love with a human woman/fall off the wagon?  How many supernatural things can happen to Sally?

  11. Jaime’s new haircut bugged me.  His hair and the casual clothes he was wearing with Cercei were too modern; it looked like he just stepped out of a J.C. Penney’s catalog.

Thank goodness someone else agrees with me, though it felt more like an A&F catalog.  I didn't even recognize Jamie at first, I was like, "who's that?" Surprised Cercei didn't complain about Jamie's hair.

I think I actually like Jon Snow now.  Last season, I was pissed (even though I read the book and knew it was coming) that Robb got killed because that meant I was going to have to look at Kit Harrington instead of Richard Madden, and I really wished that they could have switched parts.  Still kind of feel that way since I think Richard Madden is WAY hotter than Kit Harrington who reminds me of an A&F model.

  12. Every episode of this show is more fucked up than the last.

Oh, Alana...sad but can't say I blame here.  IMO if everyone were so inclined, both Jack and Will would have slept with Hannibal by now.

What did Hannibal put in Alana's drink?  Why did he wipe the glass?  OCD?

Dr. Gideon...OMG, how fucked up was that?  I'd been spoiled about Miriam but I wasn't spoiled about THAT.  For a moment, I thought GIdeon was going to say, after he ate his own leg. "Tastes like chicken."  I think Gideon's beating was set up by Chilton.  I'd be pissed if someone took out nearly all of my organs.

How did Jack get the non human food at Hannibal's dinner party?  I don't think Jack will be off the scent though, once you put a suggestion in someone's mind, it doesn't just go away like that.  Now Jack knows he can't trust Alana.

When Hannibal was playing his harpsichord, I wondered if that was the one Tobias tuned.

The thing about Hannibal, IMO is this.  On one hand he wants everybody to know he's the ripper.  On the other hand he doesn't want to get caught.  On one hand, he's lonely and wants friends, on the other hand he only wants friends if it's on his terms.

I thought it was interesting that Will said Hannibal eats people because to him, the people he kills are no better than pigs.  I think Hannibal respects Will, but I also thought Hannibal respected Tobias, in fact I think Tobias was the one person Hannibal was afraid of, he knew on some level Tobias would try to kill him.

Anyway, great show.  How long has Miriam been missing/dead?  A few years correct?  I wonder if Hannibal gave her a lobotomy?

I still think Hannibal's own ego is going to sink him.

  13. Completely agree with this.  Frankly, Jack is perhaps more enchanted and enamored with Hannibal than anyone else.  Suggesting Alana should feel any worse about herself for sleeping with/being in a relationship or whatever goes down with Hannibal in the coming eps than Jack should is unfair.  Will and Jack have been just about as intimate with Hannibal as they can be, given that those three appear to be hetero men.  There's no need, in my opinion, to heap and extra helping of "shame" on Alana because she, as a woman, was intimate with Hannibal in a different way.

I agree with this.  I believe that if everyone were so inclined, both Jack and Will would have slept with Hannibal already.

  14. I believe Hannibal has two issues with are polar opposites.

On one hand, he doesn't want to get caught.

On the other hand he doesn't want anybody else to take credit for being the Ripper.  It makes me wonder if Hannibal's fantasy is for him to tell someone who he really is and have that person say.  "Okay, so what are we having for dinner?"  Isn't that what people want, to be seen for who they really are and be accepted?  I think that's what Hannibal wants, but alas, it's not for him.

I also think that he killed Beverly for the same reason he killed Miriam; self preservation.  I think Hannibal's ego is going to be the thing that catches him.

I liked this episode, it was fun to see Hannibal in something other than a suit and tie; he was wearing a sweater and swim trunks (yum).  I'd like to see Hannibal in jeans and barefoot but I guess that's asking too much.

  15. I really wonder about the guy who tapped out before it even started.  I guess the Amazon's a scary place.  Glad EJ and Laura made it through.  I liked Laura a lot last year.

Sometimes I think this show proves that skill is important but mental plays an equally large part in surviving.  I remember last season there was a couple in the swamp I believe.  The man had more skills than the woman but he got discouraged quickly, it was the woman who kept his spirits up and that made them a great pair.
