    All of the Balance of Nature commercials annoy me, but the one with the dentist really ticks me off. Honestly, in 20 years we're probably going to find out it's mostly made up of amphetamines.

    I don't know how many viewers care about the books. Although Doris Kearns Goodwin was on today with her new book about her husband and with her gravitas as a historian I always like seeing her

    I don't mind the book promoting. But I have no use for Eddie because of his "if you live in a blue state don't bother to vote" in 2016 mantra.

    That also goes for Lawrence O'Donnell too whom I stopped watching after the 2016 election because he had started every show with "the man who will never become president" during the 2016 election cycle .

    Last week MJ had Farid Zacharia on to talk about his new book. It was the best segment of the show. I like when CNN and MSNBC have each other's show personalities on because they know they share the same audience

    First off this morning I'm still trying to figure out how MSNBC stretches a two hour show with commercials into a four hour show with two hours of returns and this is profitable. Nevermind the fact that if you really want the actual news in real time you'll never get it here.

    Eddie can take his book and shove it. He's persona non grata to me

    Halperin was on the show? The segment I saw was a guy (don't remember if he was a pollster or what) but he said he was working with Halperin and they then discussed the polls he had based on his work with Halperin

    All people who begged Joe to run their districts where are they today.

    Better yet with all of Joe's bragging of how he sat with the Democrats in the house because they were his buddies (as he fondly reminisced today) bring them on your show and let them share the war stories with you

    MSNBC

    MSNBC is a failure on just basic news coverage.

    At 7:40 this morning CNN was already reporting on Trump's newly released abortion statement.

    When I turned to MSNBC to get Mika and Joe's take they were wrapping up the hour with the usual mundane non news followed up at the top of the hour with the rerun of the first hour

    Say What?: Commercials That Made Us Scratch Our Heads

    I honestly don't get the commercial for a Chase credit card where a woman says she started a restaurant when she was eight months pregnant and financed it using a Chase credit card.

    Do people really finance businesses this way? Is it a credit card that's different than your basic cc? Cause generally interest rates are pretty high with credit cards and it's not the best thing to only pay the minimum amount due

    I watched this morning thru Claire because it turns out there's more news than MJ ever covers.

    While I was watching they spent a segment on Larry Lucchino whom I was not familiar with and zero time on the biggest earthquake to strike Taiwan in 25 years.
