Rachel's reporting of David Ignatius' article was very interesting. I hope it gets more attention.
I wish she would have had him on to talk about it.

OMG, I went through half a box of tissues on Eric's segment. I don't know why that one touched me so much. The twins' segment couldn't compare. I too felt like they should confirm with DNA that that man is their father.
Yeah, I have a feeling they may have had too many subsequent complications and disappointments to continue the "what happened next" shows. I got a "reminder" email from one of those TV show premiere date sites that the "what happened next" series was renewed, and it even gave an air date, but it didn't ever come back despite that. This year they did a special short series with Lisa and Chris about some doctor that was selling babies and all the children trying to find out more about their real families. For some reason that didn't interest me at all so I didn't watch it.
That show is called Taken at Birth. It has it's own board.
I watched it and was underwhelmed. There were too many unanswered questions for me really care about the outcome.

I watched Friday's episode.
Both of the stories, Kathy and Kim and Norma and Eric were feel good. It would have been nice if the twins' birth mother wanted to meet them but I guess that's not uncommon. Kudos to their birth dad and his wife.

It seems Steve Schmidt is back.
He was on Chris's show on Friday and Chris introduced him as his triumphant return to MSNBC.

I switched to Chris Cuomo and interestingly he gave Rachel a shout out!
He interviewed the lawyer/author she had on Wednesday's show. (can't remember his name )

By the end of the show there was so much left unresolved and either not explained or the explanation so flimsy, that I was frustrated. I hope TLC doesn't revisit this.
Of all the people, I was totally confounded by Sallie. She had no interest in any of her family history till she decided to have her father's body exhumed?

I am wondering why Sally never wanted to look for her birth mother years ago. Or at least in 1997. And didn't she have a brother?

By the time Rachel got to the punchline of what started out as "why I love Rex Tillerson " I was nauseous.
This crazy rollercoaster ride is out of control.

Well, I guess I'll take the bullet for y'all and watch - Dr. T's baby talk don't bother me, and Dr. K prepared me for the exotic angle. Besides, everyone knows I can't resist an animal show, and these two have the added bonus of validating my dislike for Florida and Texas. :~)
ITA
Besides Dr K has talked about her opposition to owning many of these exotic animals as pets. But that she believes it's her duty to be an advocate for them.

I still think "corruption" being said over and over again is funny considering the source.

The prophetic musing of Hillary Clinton re China, with Rachel in May, was cringe worthy to watch last night.
And when she said it, Rachel said Hillary was mocked by the right.

Scoobie. Thanks for posting this great in-depth article.
Poor Rachel. That ankle injury sounds positively gruesome. Who knew fishing could be so dangerous!

Very curious that Rachel's show is the only show that has showed the Kurt Volker interview.
My interest in him and what he know and has to say, has grown everyday since he quickly resigned his position,

I'm surprised that after only four episodes, next Sunday is the season finale.
Dr. T's new show will presumably take that time slot when it premiers on October 13th.

Thanks for the audio Scoobie.
I can't even describe how I feel about what I heard. I have a different opinion of the whistleblower than I did before. This person is of a much higher level than I had originally thought.
I also still want to hear Dan Coats and Sue Gordon's side of all of this. They both left when the shit began to hit the fan.

BTW I saw The Mueller Report in paperback book form at Target

TBH I only lasted for a few minutes last night.
We have breaking news happening in real time and Rachel's giving a history lesson on Andrew Johnson?

So slow. I was bored.

Interesting when Rachel mentioned Dan Coates and Sue Gordon's (abrupt ) departure last night, I had been thinking all week, WWDCD?

He was a new guest. I think his name was Hank Johnson. He is African American.
He criticized Senator Harris for being shallow.
It was Washington Examiner's David Drucker. They were discussing Senator Harris's drop in the polls.
He merely stated that Senator Harris is a combination of Hillary Clinton and Meghan Markle. Smart and stylish.
It was neither derogatory nor racist.

I'm truly disturbed by the whistleblowers being silenced. I hope this doesn't really continue to be acceptable.
When Rachel said that she had reported on the first case involving the tax records, that was the first time I'd heard that because she may have been the only to pay attention. But now with Rep Schiff willing to file a subpoena over the DNI whistleblower, I hope this actually goes somewhere.

Given the complexity of the story, I thought it was well done. I balked at the idea of sitting through a two and half hour movie, but it moved along quickly. I loved the book and went to see it with someone who had not read it (and I thought would sleep through the movie) but that was not the case. He liked it.
38 minutes ago, Robert Lynch said:How was Finn Wolfhard as Young Boris?
I've never seen him in anything before this movie, so all I can say is that I think he was quite good.

Thank you Rachel, for keeping our eyes on the story of the immigrant children, here for medical care, being threatened with deportation.
It was a very thoughtful and caring interview that Rachel had with Isabel Bueso.

I found the story of the National Security Advisors funny. Maybe it was the tongue in cheek way Rachel delivered parts.

The reason I thought Ignatius being on with Rachel would've been an easy get is that he's a regular on Morning Joe. But maybe he doesn't want anymore television exposure .
