  1. Hate that pepper is gone. I have no clue who the Sex Pistols are, much less the members of the group/band?

Guessed Beddingfield. What do I win? I think the train clue was because the tik tok viral videos of Unwritten were made popular dancing in places like Union Station. Any train stations.

Faith Evans for Skunk, and Todrick Hall (whom I also don't know) as Bull. I hate that we never get all the singers is one night. It's a terrible format.

How does Eddie get out of the car and into his wheelchair? Most people who can’t walk or stand would have a vehicle with a lift that allows them to roll their wheelchair onto a lift that allows them to roll their chair to behind the steering wheel.

I've seen this in parking lots several times with paraplegics. Essentially, his upper body strength does everything. He will pull the chair from the back and either push it out that battery operated door, or pull it onto his lap. Then he will open his door, unfold the chair, depending a lot on the drivers seat and car door to hang onto until he sits. If it's from the back seat, he will likely grab and pull it towards while leaning out of the drivers side. Then lower himself onto it as before.

It shows you just how physically demanding simple tasks can be.

  3. So Mallard is the Duck Dynasty guy for sure, Chris Pratt's hint made sure we knew.

Queen of Hearts is Jewel and man she can sing. She's putting on the southern twang in the clue package.

Zooey and Lamorne is a fun guess. But the last time they worked together was amazing (New Girl) so no. But he does play the piano very well. David Foster and Kat McPhee is still my guess. Also, Zooey's voice is quite deep, and Lamorne sings well. He wouldn't be benched. David and Kat.

Caterpillar is a Backstreet Boy. I thought he sounded like Trevor or Ashley from OTown, but I think their arrest records are clean. Twitter thinks it's Bobby Berk (of Queer Eye) and I am open to that. Also a BB.

Beach Ball doesn't deserve any comments from me. If ya can't say anything nice! 🤐

  4. I'm doing a spotty rewatch with the episodes I like, none with people I love dying (none with Ava or Minnick). I would love to know if a superfan had a count of how many times Richard Webber walked in on his surgeons making out or having sex?

On rewatch, it's a LOT of times and I'm skipping entire seasons. Maybe it's because Richard looks exactly like my father that those moments embarrass me as the viewer.

It aired on Monday this week. And it was just a top 10 countdown with a couple of behind-the-scenes bits and a scattered clue here and there. You didn't miss much.

My dvr didn't want me watching it, I suppose!

What confused me about Addie's story is, she's a doctor. Wouldn't she have still been working?

She's a doctor married to a doctor with a 2nd grader. I think she spent plenty of time at home even if she worked. Also, private practices weren't busy like hospitals.

I will say when Addie said she thought about death and that comforted her that made sense to me

I started tearing up and nodding. I lived the first 5 months or so in such a deep depression, living off red wine and hoping I didn't wake up the next day. I'm not an extrovert at ALL, but the anxiety of everyone I love being one mask away from a deadly illness was all I could think of. Plus I live alone, so I didn't have anyone to share my thoughts with.

I really appreciated Greys for showing the "ptsd" (not clinical, but lowercase, ptsd-lite) of that 14 months of fear. The vaccine eased the anxiety for me, which is why I say 14 months.

We, as a planet, will be unpacking our stressors and traumas for decades. It should be talked about in a palatable way like it was in this episode.

Winston is my favorite male doctor now. I don't watch this show for Helm or Glasses.

Everything racy about the movie went entirely over my head when I was a kid, and I'm sure that's why my mom had no problem with me singing along to all of the songs and having the CD. During the Rizzo/sleepover version of Look At Me I'm Sandra Dee when the lyrics were "...won't go to bed 'til I'm legally wed," seven-year-old me just thought man, Sandy's going to be tired.

I thought Kenickie's "25 cent insurance policy" out of his wallet, that he stopped mid makeout to grab... was a quarter.

Also, this one's funny, when Rizzo sees way too many dudes in the car, she said "what do ya think this is, a gang bang?!" I thought that meant there were too many people in a car. And I used the phrase to describe a car full of people. A lil five year old looking at 6 people coming out of a minivan and I proudly asked "What you think this is? A gang bang?" No one stopped me. Lol

On topic, I have decided to look at my phone when the host has the camera on her. Makes the show much more enjoyable. I think I'm rooting for Melora, but I am enjoying JoJo growing out of her bubblegum ribbon-bow unicorn phase.

Did I hear correctly that the Jester said he was banned from performing by certain governments and arenas? If I heard right, I’m gonna render my guess to say it’s Ozzy Osborne

Then someone else was speaking during the clue package. Ozzy can't enunciate to save his life.

  10. Bye bye! I am so happy to see him gone!

Also, Urban Dictionary confirms that 607 was the pager code for "I miss you" and I am sooooo excited at the thought this Skunk is probably Faith Evans! Because, well Faith Evans, 607!

    Here's where I'm at:

    Pepper - Natasha Bedingfield

    Skunk - Faith Evans

    Bull - Todrick Hall

    Hamster - Gone and forgotten

Jester - my nightmares (or Jack Black)

So I was pretty sure last time but with all the talking in this song, I’m certain the Pepper is Natasha Bedingfield. That’s her voice.

1000% I could see through the costume it was so clearly her voice!

I'm honestly surprised that Hamster's item this week wasn't a photocopier.

They showed someone "makin copies" in the clue package and NONE of the judges mentioned it.

When plainly both arms work. Apparently the writers are idiots who don’t know the difference between quadriplegic and paraplegic. And nobody in the cast picked up on it either.

The actor portraying the trainer is a paraplegic, why did he say quad? I figured they were talking about a 3rd person I couldn't see.

And what is it about Boston? Meredith grew up there after Ellis left Seattle and was pregnant with Maggie and didn’t Jackson grow up there too?

It seems Mass General is the Grey Sloane of the East Coast. Maybe they are connected via the Avery Foundation, or the residency program. But most aren't just going to Boston; they are going to Boston to work at Mass Gen.

It was great to have Addison back, but it was weird that she got teary over Derek but didn't even mention Mark. And I would have loved to have seen at least a picture of 8-year-old Henry, since Addison adopting him was such a big storyline on PP.

Mark passed when Private Practice was still airing, and Addison publicly grieved for more than one episode about Mark's death. So, in the Shondaland universe, Addie has dealt with losing Mark.

I had that thought too, except I forgot she was non-binary.

    They are non-binary, not "she"

(just a gentle correction, as their pronouns were made clear just one episode ago.)

Observation that 5 of the first 6 eliminated contestants are black.  I wonder if that's because a higher percentage of these contestants this season are black but if not, maybe the producers don't have as much influence/fix on the results as I had thought.  Because it doesn't seem like a good luck for them if everyone black is getting eliminated early.  Especially someone like Toni Braxton....

I saw a commercial for the TMZ show which seemed to feature a Jester costume that I think they said was banned for being lewd?  I didn't bother to watch TMZ but I'm wondering what costume that person ended up being?

The first people who leave are often the most famous. Aka Toni Braxton/Tyga/Vivica Fox/Lil Wayne/Athletes galore. I think their most famous contestants this year happened to be Black.

Question about Zola: wasn't she born with Spina Bifida? Is that something you can outgrow? I had an online friend who had it and she was confined to a wheelchair.

She had a stent put in as a teeny baby, and Koracik fixed it once she outgrew the original stent. I guess this keeps her SB manageable.

I loved seeing Addison. It felt like a warm hug. She's the reason I ever watched Greys (I started backwards, I watched Private Practice first and then gave Greys a chance just for more Addison scenes)

Yep, I mean it’s still somewhat crazy to me that they’re still in.

“And Burke, 37, said she experienced somewhat of an out-of-body experience: "Like, my brain and my body not connecting like I had on Sunday. It was as if there was a pillow on my face as I was jiving."

"Look, I can always do a dance once but to have to repeat it, which we have to do it. The cameras have to know what we're doing," she added, "but I definitely felt that it … it wasn't stamina as much as it was like, 'Whoa, like, I can barely breathe.' My lungs felt like they were going to collapse."”

I suffered long covid. Five months after infection, I still couldn't complete a workout class. I'm a lifelong trained dancer and younger than Cheryl. I was just trying to dance 3 hours a week, and it was too much.

I totally see the disconnection in her face. Hand/eye coordination was one of the last things that came back when I finally recovered. Neuro symptoms last for different times and have nothing to do with the severity of the actual virus.

I wish they'd let her go home. Lindsey can take over for Cheryl.

It seems like a show that would take less than 3-4 weeks to shoot.

I’d lose my mind being a contestant in this game. I couldn’t sit in an apartment by myself for that long. It also seems like they don’t actually interact with the other players that much. It seems like the circle chat is only open for conversation for a certain amount of time and games don’t last that long. Therefore, they have to be there with their thoughts, remote control toy cars and books. I’d go crazy. I’m pretty introverted but not that introverted to sit in an apartment for several weeks by myself like that. It looks like the days would take forever to go by.

They chat with producers as often as they want. Sometimes in an intercom type system, others face to face. That's why they always know how to pronounce the names of the other contestants. It's not a isolation test. Also tons and tons of chats are left on the cutting room floor (they posted an article after season 2 about how the show isn't as lonely as it looks)

  19. Wow, Queen of Hearts just killed it. That's my favorite song on the planet. La Vie en Rose. Did y'all hear Jewel's yodeling? I did. She has wonderful legs.

Producers were nice to give Nicole the right guess this episode instead of Jenny. I don't know the Pointer Sisters well, but Ruth has the exact speaking voice of Leslie Jones and similar legs.

Mr Dimples is gonna keep me confused until he goes home. Who has dimples that's been married to his childhood sweetheart his whole career? C'mon Mallard.

Craig Robinson's body is nothing like Banana (of Split) and he wouldn't waste his amazing voice! Still sticking with McPhee and David Foster. Some of her moves looked like her moves from Smash.

Caterpillar has me stumped as they always do. I wanted him to be Zac Levi, it ain't.

The only intern/resident I liked was Parker and TPTB got rid of him early on.

I had a major crush on Parker and I miss him very much. I love how he was ex-military, a computer hacker, AND a competent doctor. Bring him back, tptb! More trans representation played by trans actors!
