We will see but point initially was just Zoe is pretty much a no show and maybe for her a good thing. ; )

Right. I just don't root for any of his other exes. I don't feel like I know Sophie. I liked Sloan, but the show forgot about her entirely. Olivia was trash. Cassidy seems to not like Kevin very much.

I don't know who I want him married to if it's a character we already know. He burns bridges.

  2. I think Kevin ends up with Zoe. Because no one said that yet (I'm only on page 4) and his kids aren't little in the flash forward. So she can still travel with or without Kevin. She won't even have to do much raising of the kids.

    Their breakup was so amicable.

Someone mentioned in last night's episode thread about how it would be interesting if Schmitt had been the one to file the complaint about the residency plan. I thought that could lead to a good plot, plus it would allow them to bring back former residents to testify, either in favor of or against the program. A plot device to bring former cast members back.

I doubt they'd actually do this, but it could be interesting. Could also get some "where are they now" updates on those who wouldn't come back, like "so and so sent this letter."

As long as I get to see my dude Parker again, I'm so ready for that storyline.

I think the Ringmaster is Emily Osment who worked with Miley on Hannah Montana. Or Victoria Justice. I can not stand "The Climb" but it was sang way better than Miley does it but then Miley is not a good singer JMO

Emily Osment was my guess too. She has an amazing voice and pretty cool story. I'd really like to see it be her. Always rooting for her. I have no other guesses.

Oh, I thought Tabitha Brown was the teddy bear or whatever.

ETA: did we find out how the teens got out of the pool, did I miss that part?

Looks like that will be fully resolved in the next episode. They showed flashing lights and Randall with his hands raised at the gate they hopped.

  6. Their conflict was one as old as time. The dad thinks he supports his family by fattening the bank account. The mom thinks its better to support the kids by just being there and making memories with them. It's not a dealbreaker, it's more like the entire plan of the patriarchy.

Of course I'm on Kate's side. I've seen crappy husbands justify their absenteeism on the need to make more money. There needs to be a balance because no amount is ever "enough" money. Nor can you have the healthy/safe bonding with your family without financial safety (ex: being homeless is rarely a good experience for families).

Proud of her for getting up that hill and finally finishing something she started.

Yeah, my people were not free in America in 1776. So, you may want to zoom out to say, 1865...

I think parents who serve crap like chicken tenders, french fries, hot dogs, etc. to their children should be arrested for child abuse.

Okay, first, no. Parents who feed their children aren't inherently bad. But let's all stop acting like picky eating is a flaw of the parents or the child.

I'm a chicken tender kid. There are many reasons kids won't eat certain foods. My father does not do "picky eaters" and he saw my lack of food variety as something he did wrong. Well, no, he blamed my mom for being a "short order cook" for me. There were usually 4-5 nights a week in my pre-puberty years that I went to bed without dinner. This was because of the TRASH advice of "don't eat this? You get nothing" from ignorant pediatricians in the 90s.

    1. I became anorexic.

    2. I hated my father.

    3. Turns out I am on the autism spectrum and my aversion to "mushy" food is not just a preference. I have and will spit out food even as an adult because it's so disturbing to me to chew the wrong texture. My brain is different, it's not a lack of willpower.

    4. Almost every food that I refused (like egg, cheese, red meat) ended up being foods I'm allergic to. I stopped eating eggs at 2 years old and only found out this year that I'm allergic.

All of this to say, most parents are doing their best. Rebecca did what everyone would have recommended and Kate is 400 pounds. A chicken tender didn't cause that.

I'm at a healthy weight now, have mended things with my father, and will eat all the chicken I want. What would arresting anyone accomplish? The kid's still going to have food preferences. Kids know themselves well.

Intense turbulence wakes Meredith from her nap on the flight from Boise back to Seattle. We hear the pilot say something about being in the clear and will be landing at SeaTac shortly. The camera pans out to Derek, Cristina, Mark, Lexie, and Arizona occupying the other seats. The conjoined twins surgery in Boise was a success, there was no plane crash, everyone is alive and happy.

The best ending. The show died for me alongside Lexie and Mark.

It felt like they pumped out this season because they were contractually obligated to and not because they knew where they wanted the story to go.

Greg Daniels, this show's creator, has said many times that he enjoys writing himself into a corner on season finales. He says it gives him motivation over the summer (when working on network TV) to knock it out of the park in the premiere and early season episodes.

For example: at the time of filming the season 1 finale, my guess is Greg had not yet decided if Ingrid actually died.

This model worked great for The Office and Parks and Rec because they had long seasons to untangle the knots he'd tie. But this season was 1. Too short and 2. Felt like maybe the first 3 episodes of a 10 episode season and 3. Confusing, honestly

    Nora's avatar wig was trash.

Choak being the villain/killer was what everyone thought in the first place. The killer is the person you most suspect

I'd love to know why they changed actresses for Ingrid's grandma.

A big problem is too many have a "what can I get from you" mentality, whereas the men have a "what can I give you" mentality. The selfish meet the simps.

No. What? We could not have been watching the same show.

Tell me what Shayne, Shake, or Salvador were "giving" their brides

Also, Deeps didn't seem bitter in the least. She was just proud of herself. Happiest I've seen her.

I'm not at all surprised by Shake's issues. He has actively avoided dating any Indian girls.

Shake isn't attracted to her because Shake is attracted to assimilating. Deepti is the opposite of that. His initial attraction to her had no chance going up against his subconscious self-hate.

Also, I guess they'll need to bring in more surgeons with Hayes leaving and Hunt needing to recover?

Well I know of a wonderful peds surgeon in NY. And an ortho god if you want them both at the same time 😉 (they are a pair)

I feel really dumb asking this but was there an Our Little Island Girl: Part 1?

Yes. It was during the season when Randall ran for office. It was the story of her dad passing away and her quitting ballet after his death. First time we met her mom, played by Phylicia Rashad was (I think) that same episode.

Sounds like I need to finally watch this. I agree with the comments about Che being attractive. I get their appeal, and I'm straight. Their face is GORGEOUS.

Yeah, Sara is hot, they've been hot since Greys Anatomy. I'm very into nonbinary people these days. Combination of androgyny and a lack of toxic masculinity. *chefs kiss* Sweet spot. But since I know very few nb folks in real life, I do technically remain (reluctantly) heterosexual.

In 3 years of living with the Pearson’s, she’s suddenly this brilliant student that can take 3 EXTRA AP courses along with her regular schedule?   AP courses are college level.   They are not easy.    And they don’t help you graduate early.  You still need 4 full years of English, 3 full years of math, etc in order to graduate.  You cannot just eliminate 1.5 years of high school in one semester.

Deja was always bright. She just didn't have structure before. The teacher even said she should skip a grade a few seasons back. Intelligence isn't determined by social status. She was smart the whole time.

My aunt let my cousin quit school at 17 to go be with her boyfriend (a decision made right after losing her virginity to him... so this storyline is very realistic to me!) and now that cousin is divorced from her crazy abusive husband (the high school boyfriend) AND she has no work experience or education. She is now 35 applying at Chick Fil A because her mom let her think with her hormones at 17. Bad bad parenting.

I liked Kevin giving Madison's boyfriend advice although it's kind of weird to order for food for someone without asking. I'm no expert on eating disorders though so maybe he was right.

I have a strangely high amount in common with Madison. Including being in recovery from an eating disorder (we're also the same age and have the same jobs) and yes. This is correct. I never ask for food. But if extra shows up, that's usually the only time I'll eat in front of people. I'd say this was a great tip.
