  1. I watched one episode last night. After seeing her documentary, I was looking forward to a new Paris. But nope. She's still faking it.

The locked secret passageway in the penthouse library was the most awkward romantic gesture I have ever witnessed. He flew her out just to see where Marilyn would go... and she can't even see it.

Carter is terrible on camera. That's usually a good sign for a celebrity spouse. But he's so boring. It's awkward, pushing those bikes on the beach as they read their lines about how they both think its too good to be true? Puke.

For those who have seen more episodes, does Nicole Richie ever show up?

I've taught so many Courtney's.  They keep you on your toes.  The entire class saying the pledge to Courtney cracked me up.

I was the Courtney of my class. Admin kept trying to make me skip a grade, but I liked my friends too much. And yes, I corrected my teacher's math when she was wrong. She was mad and embarrassed, so she told my parents and they go "but was [Boogie] right?" Poor teacher! She wanted me to behave so badly, but I never did.

Of course my math was right. Btw.

Well...yes but she does have the benefit of professional hair and makeup people.

No, it's like she is radiating happiness! It's inner beauty shining through.

When the woman first came up and spoke with Deja, I thought it was her biological mother.  It wasn’t until well into the airplane scene that I realized the show hadn’t gone there.

Same, I was like, is this Shawna? Then I was wondering if Ryan Michelle Bathe's character had been brought back to say goodbye to Rebecca. I mean, the lady looks nothing like the actress who plays Shawna, and quite obviously isn't RMB... but I figured it was someone we knew. (Also, the casting sucked so bad on older Laurel, that I have to remember sometimes they aren't amazing with aging Black ladies)

I never did it or ever heard of post coital doo rag wearing.

I think it was because he either took a shower, or he was going to bed.

Also, that was a party, not a club. Deja wouldn't be able to get in a club.

This was probably covered last season during the flashforward, but who does Randall greet outside at the cabin? I know one is Deja. I think one is Annie but is the third Tessa or Beth?  I think Beth is already inside because this was shown after Randall and Beth's marriage was shaky. So is the third women Tessa?  It has been too long to remember.

Her name's Tess. No "a." Tess and Randall arrived together (remember he picked her up from work to head out to the cabin). Beth is inside, Deja and Annie arrive together, Deja is pregnant and Annie is driving.

He greeted DeeDee (Or Evie?) who we learn is Nicky's wife. So it was a new person we weren't anticipating.

This has been asked before and I'm not sure we've every figured out the answer...

Madison is an event planner. As am I, and I am comfortable. I just have never ever seen her work.

She could be as young as 44, so still within childbearing years.  However, with a "hostile uterus" that has already given her a two miracle babies, I doubt they would make her pregnant.

Correct. Maggie was born in 83, and Meredith was 5. So although Ellen Pompeo is 52, Meredith is only 44. Born in 1978

I don't think it was his physical appearance that was so alluring.  People say he is very charming in person. And there is a the whole smart and powerful thing going on.   I myself never found him appealing. I always thought Al Gore was way more attractive.

I remember having a crush on him when I saw him play sax on Arsenio. I was 6. Lol. I have a thing for silver foxes. Always have.

There's a sparkle in his eye. He's magnetic. I was ignorant enough to think he was a harmless attractive man for his whole presidency. I really was clueless about the affairs and such.

John Mulaney talks of Clinton's charm in a stand up special. Billy boy was getting all the girls back in college (which he attended with Mulaney's parents) and he never stopped.

I noticed that the folks who took many years of dance as children or had a lot of training in their adult years in other dance forms did pick stuff up much more easily. Some dancers on DWTS claim they don't have an edge over athletes like Iman though. As someone who's got training in different dance forms, what are your thoughts?

1000% we pick up on everything faster. Very few moves are "new," they are just in a new order. There is a leg up in the first 3-5 weeks of the show.

However, trained dancers have bad habits (I have my feet in turnout position almost all the time) that are hard to break. So something like Samba is NOT easier on a ballerina. But waltz is. Paso is easier for jazz dancers. So on and so forth.

Amanda's a wonderful example of a trained dancer who coasted at the beginning, but her Rockette style of dance made her look unnatural when she needed to show emotion that wasn't about the death of her husband. Jojo was more cross trained, her bad habits were more moldable than Amandas, for whatever reason.

But yes, trained dancers have it easier on this show.

Some times the best dancer wins and some times the most popular contestant wins. It's rarely both. In this case, I believe it was more of the latter, and that kind of sours the premise for me because it's less a dance competition than a popularity contest.

Tom said it many many years ago. "This is part dance competition, part popularity contest. If it were only a dance competition, it'd be on PBS."

I'm a trained jazz/ballet/contemporary/salsa dancer, with very high expectations for those who win dance shows... Iman won because his dances were amazing. The choreography is a major part of what makes the show worth watching. Daniella choreographed rewatchable dances with a partner who had rhythm, natural ability, and showmanship. That IS the premise. Nothing sour about it.

I rewatched the Us dance two dozen times. I have already rewatched the Lose Control freestyle at least 5 times. I watched zero other competitors performances after seeing them live. Also, I had never in my life heard of Iman Shumpert nor Daniella! So, it wasn't his name that got him the win. It was the whole package.

There's the problem.  The writers seem to think Maggie is irresistible.   She's sooooo adorable that she can do no wrong and everyone falls at her feet.

I do find her adorable, and definitely in Ryan  Hansen's character's league. But irresistible, she is not.

  12. The covid part hit me right in the feels. I was let go days after George Floyd's death. Being the only Black person in a 90 person startup made it particularly frustrating that they ran their public statements by me as well... to show they were woke. I would have quit the day they let me go. Then, I went on to publish two books while in between permanent jobs.

Getting mad at someone for going to yoga is PEAK May 2020! Whew chile! I literally ended a friendship because she went to spin class right before entering my home.

There's a theory floating around on the Grey's subreddit that Meredith is showing the early signs of Alzheimer's and Nick/the entire relationship with him is in her head. I'm coming around to that being not so farfetched after the last few episodes. Has anyone else besides Meredith interacted with Nick this go-around?

I like that theory. I'd love a link to the subreddit. Sometimes I wanna go on tangents and reddit is the place for that.

I found it interesting that McTransplant had what looked to be the same Range Rover Derek had in several seasons. People often comment on how similar they look.

Is "seeing things that aren't there" a symptom of Alzheimers? I know people forget, or call people the wrong name. But I'm not well-versed on what else happens as people begin their descent into dementia.

I was really happy Amelia and Linc had a lil romp on the couch. They should have worked out.

If they work out only one or two eps, it's a quick way to get your name back in the public eye, live out a fantasy, show off a previously unknown talent, whatever. And make a bit of quick cash!

This makes my millennial heart just beg for Britney and Xtina to decide to do an ep or three of this show! Heck, I'd settle for Hillary Duff or Jessica Simpson!

  15. Willie Robertson is not a person I know at all. I googled him a few weeks back after learning he is good friends with Chris Pratt. If I hadn't, I would have been very confused.

I just happen to know Bobby Berk. But I do appreciate that both of these niche "celebs" were lovely singers.

    . I never want to see that damn button again. While it's painfully obvious the show is 'rigged' and preplanned from the getgo, the button STILL feels like it is a cheat and not fair to the masked singer ultimately.  I'm glad both guesses ultimately failed;

They will definitely use this button on upcoming seasons when someone who sings amazingly well doesn't want to be on the show for more than a few episodes. It's the new way to let big stars half-ass participate.

Bobby Berk is from the revival of Queer Eye on Netflix, he's an insanely talented interior designer. But his life story is gripping, and as you watch the episodes, you see how much he grows. He's really great and I highly recommend watching Netflix's Queer Eye. It's one heck of a show!

This comment just made me feel like the old punk I am.

Don't feel old. I usually know a lot of musicians from the 60's - 80's, but only the ones my parents liked (think Motown to New Edition). Very little rock music was played. I like that he stuck to his punk roots and played a bad seed on the show too!

So now Amelia is interested in a woman? Or is she not a woman since the actress is a they?  I’m open minded but I feel like it’s forced for some political agenda.  Did Amelia ever have an interest in anyone other than men before?

Yes, Amelia had a massive crush on Carina. She got in the MRI (or CT?) machine to help Carina with her masturbation study solely because Amelia wanted to get in good with Carina. Then they found the tumor.

Later, Amelia tries to ask Carina to join her and Link (or was it Owen?) for a threesome.

Since Kai is non-binary, Amelia's crush on them isn't a crush on a girl, it's a crush on a non-binary person. Which would put Amelia in the pansexual or queer category. As opposed to bisexual.

I watched this with my (boomer) mom last night and she tried so hard on Kai's pronouns, it was really cute. "Amelia wants to date they?" Lol. No Mom, "Amelia wants to date them!"
