Thanks for this, @BoogieBurns, but I don't see it listed on Netflix menu for the series, just on that page you posted.

    Hrumph.

And why was Daly deemed too evil to live???

    Double hrumph.

It's a deleted scene. They shared it this way so the show had a happy ending.

Not sure where else this clip lives.

  2. Fiona did walk out of the plane. It seemed to be implied that Daly was on the plane, as they only mentioned the passengers missing. Not the pilot. Everyone who died before the death date came back.

How old is Leo supposed to be? I feel like he should be out of a stroller by now...

Leo was 1 in season 14. He is 6. My niece is 6 and she pushes the stroller when her lil bro rides in it.

  4. The new interns names, for those who are interested:

Millin - Jules Millin (the one who slept with Linc)

Adams - Lucas Adams (aka Shep, the nephew)

Griffith - Simone Griffith (Marla Gibbs grandkid)

Yasuda - Mika Yasuda (the one living in the car)

Kwan - Benson Kwan (aka Blue, Harry Schum Jr)

    MAGYK, or whatever lol

  5. In this episode, set in 2018, Zeke is listed as 36 years old in the "missing person" flier.

He says his sister died in 2006 when he was 15. Which makes him 27...

Also, his dad had not abandoned the family in this episode. But later Zeke says he left them before Chloe passed.

Someone should check the math. It's a show all about numbers and no one can add?

I thought that Ben or someone said in a previous episode (maybe one of the early ones of this season) that it's been 2 years since they returned. Even if I'm wrong about that, your dates don't make sense given the baby's age--between Nov. 2019 and July 2020 there would not be enough time for the 7 months of pregnancy (I think Eden was born at 28 weeks) plus the 6-9 months of age that she appears to be now (not that I'm an expert on baby ages, but she definitely does not have the newborn or early infant look she had in earlier episodes). So Ben must have had time for more than a year of research, and probably close to 2 years.

Plane landed in Nov 2018. Thus, 2 years!

  7. Gentle reminder: Kai's pronouns are they/them

Ex: "Why do they write them so dull?"

I'm not the pronoun police, this is just a safe space to get comfortable with using correct pronouns. If it gets confusing, just say Kai instead. (We're all still learning!)

Ex: "Why on earth is Amelia still with Kai?!"

  8. I enjoyed the episode. Explains why Adams appears mixed race, his dad is from Barbados.

Addison and Jake(?) better not split up just so Kate can be on Greys more often. Just get Benjamin Bratt for like one scene so they can just say she moved the whole family.

The stuff with Marla Gibbs was another cute callback. Cute is not the right word, but it was a moment we remember from early seasons. I do think we will see her again, and find out which doctor at that hospital delivered Simone.

Harry Shum Jr (Blue) is only a year younger than Kelly McCreary (Maggie). Had to Google because neither look their age.

White-intern's name will not stay in my brain, but so far, she's just "fine"

Teddy and Owen acted like the couple from SNL with Amy Poehler and Seth Meyer where they just yelled and yelled until they were makin out lol

Did that one intern whose name I still don't know say she was living in that van? The one who had to work with Owen and Teddy and hates them as much as I do.

Mika Yasuda. Or Yasura. They're pronounced almost the same. But yeah, she tricked out the van. Maybe reminiscent of the trailer Derek/Addison/Alex/Izzie/Owen lived in?

I only caught her first name because it's my sister's first name.

Don't know the name of Linc's girl, but I think she got to do two surgeries in 2 episodes already.

Agreed, they saved Zola's meltdown for a time when Ellen Pompeo wanted to be on screen less. Not a terrible reason to pause work for a while.

Guess Griffin's grandma (Marla Gibbs) is going to be our Alzheimer's storyline.

    Such a cute name, Jaicy!

Did anyone else get the vibe that the college kid with meningitis and the roommate were more than just roommates?

Soulmates! But no, it seemed platonic. Sad to see Luke Dunphy lose a leg, but a good twist on the season 1 (pilot?) episode with the rhythmic gymnast.

Last episode, I saw Amelia and Adams standing in a room acting weird. I thought they were messing around too. But he has to clear it up fast, or else people will forever think he dated his aunt.

Zola brought me to tears, she's lost so much. She was already orphaned once! Then she loses her dad, her mom loves to almost die, and now she realizes Maggie could get Alzheimer's like the great Ellis?!? She deserves an hour of hugs a day until she's 100.

Helm's a bartender now? Since she's still around I'm guessing she'll be back eventually..?

The actress, I forget her real name but it's really cute, posted on IG that she was back on set around the same time the other cast members were posting they were back. I think she's still a regular. She should be chief resident. Schmitt should be nothing.

    Is Nico (Schmidt's boo) gone?

Derek and Addison didn't come to Seattle until they were already department heads. They went to medical school in NY and Richard taught them over there. There's no way Addison has anything to do with Simone's mom unless there is a retcon.

This shows loves a retcon. Let's say Webber heads back to Seattle in ~1997 and asks Addison to come for the summer before her fellowship in NYC starts. It's *that* easy to make it the fault of someone who could be on the show.

  12. Harp is my favorite type of singer. I cry tears of joy when she sings. I can't control it. I feel like she has the voice of angels (growing up in a Black church could be the reason). But I also *love* Amber Riley as a person. She won her season of DWTS, and I voted every week. Which was not something I did before or after.

Sometimes it's so nice to know the younger generation can have powerhouse Diva singers like Boomers and Gen X have!

Amber also has—thus far—been spared from the many Glee "curses" and I wish her the best after all the gleeks have been through.

Also, I'm a softie, but I cried when I saw Jodie sitting there while Amber sang the Full House theme. I really really loved Bob Saget. When they thought Ken was fake crying, I was like "it's not fake!!! We're sad!"

Thanks. I only know her from HGTV, so I had no idea she could sing.

Professionally trained opera singer. Not the Harp. Retta can't wear heels from injuries in her 20s.

Harp is Amber Riley. I would bet my dog on it

  14. I introduced this show to my mom about 2 months ago, and she happened to be at my house when the Emmys aired. We screamed and cried for their wins. Well deserved.

Mockumentaries that aren't titled "Modern Family" haven't received a ton of love from the Television Academy. They get nominated but essentially never win, ask Mike Schur!

This was a welcome surprise. I hope Janelle gets her turn to win next year

The rationale given is that had the singing been terrible, it would have been funny and given the wrong tone. But really, how bad could Adam Scott and James Tupper have been? It's not as if the songs they had to sing were particularly challenging. Jean-Marc Vallee's first choice to sing for Nathan was Chris Isaac. Seriously?

Adam Scott sang on his podcast a TEENSY bit and it was terrible. Like, he forgets how to make words out of his mouth--bad. He admits it openly, as he had his voice dubbed in StepBrothers as well. He does this twang thing, it's like his mouth is full of oil and the words fall out. Haha. I adore him, but he *can't* sing.

However, his podcast cohost, Scott Aukerman, has an almost identical speaking voice to Adam Scott (to the point where it takes at least 3 episodes to figure out who is speaking) and a LOVELY singing voice. He should have voiced "singing" Ed.

I gobbled up this season in 3 days. It was such a good show. I watched for Adam, and stayed for the gals. But I was worried Ed was abusing Abigail and that was why she moved out. It was worrying me the whole time!

  16. It was a fakeout with Catherine's funeral. I had a feeling Jackson was back because Catherine would pass away in this supersized episode. So when he spoke, with flowers behind him and in a suit, I was fooled. I am in love with Debbie Allen, so I am a fan of Catherine being alive.

I'd like to hear my eulogy while I'm still alive, but I hate attention, so they'd have to privately send me videos of them saying nice things.

I do hope the residents are gone for good. Schmidt the most. But it feels like everyone else that "fled" will be back in the fall. Nick for sure. He's endgame in the post-Derek show.

I'd love Addison, Callie, Arizona, Jackson, and April to all be recurring characters. Not regulars, just like 4 episodes each. I bet they'd happily take that paycheck. Add Taye Diggs and Benjamin Bratt (from Private Practice) too, unless Bratt did something stupid again. Whew! I lost the topic there...

Gotta go donate some blood! #ONeg #UniversalDonor

I'm disappointed that we're missing the chance to say good-bye to the younger actors who have played present-day Malik, Deja, Tess, and Annie.  Also, the actors who played teen/college Kate, Kevin, Randall, and Beth.  We've seen them for years, and they all kind of got dumped to sprint to Rebecca's deathbed.

Wait for Tuesday. Not a spoiler, I'm just sure we get to say goodbye to the actors. All of them.
