Thank you, but I have a long way to go. Fun things you learn about- the ACL is one of the slowest healing parts of the body due to limited blood supply. It does take at least a year for the new ACL and the bone anchors to have comparable strength to the original ACL. It can take up to 2 years for coordination to return to normal. It also takes around a year for all swelling to dissipate. I'm exactly 10 weeks post surgery today. I have PT twice a week. For another 3 weeks and then I'm on my own. Obviously, I'm not an athlete, but the recovery and rehab process has been intense. I celebrated the first time I could bend my knee enough to not sit awkwardly on the toilet.

I tore my ACL on Jan 18 and reconstruction surgery on Mar 14. I had to get full range of motion back in my knee before my Doctor would schedule surgery, and then I had to fit into his OR schedule. Saw my Doctor for a pre op appointment end of Feb and he said my knee was healed to where he could do surgery. First opening was April 1st. Then I got a call on Mar 5th from my Doctor and he said he had an opening on Mar 14 if I wanted it and I said heck yes. Recovery and then rehab is not fun at all. Trust me on that!

Anybody have any more info on Maddies "injury"? I feel like it must have not been serious, because I haven't read anything about her missing a game, an she didnt need to be replaced at Point

I'm tired of focusing on VK. My new mystery is- What does Kats natural hair look like, and why does she hide it under so many wigs?

Ok, after watching this episode, I cant for the life of me figure out why Kat and Meridith werent cut. They are horrible horrible dancers.
-
I did the free 24hr preview to watch last weeks episode
-
I need a user name and password for the primary cable tv account holder, which isnt me, so i cant watch it on cmt.com
-
Ahhhhhh...cmt isnt replaying the episode after racing wives. They are playing night at the museum....
-
Im stuck at work until 930pm CDT. So hoping to catching the replay of tonights eposode. If I dont catch the replay later this evening i have no other options to watch it...sigh...and tonight is when I lose my Brett
-
So Meredith and Kat make the team, but so far all i have seen from them, they suck...so either they both miraculously get it together??? Or i will just have to go with the beauty of the face is more valuable than the quality of the dancing

Having served in the United States Marine Corps. I can tell you groups of people breaking off and getting catty is not just a "Woman Thing". At any duty station, maybe I was lucky to interact with 6-8 other women. Men break up into smaller groups and get catty as well. I might even say more intensely than women...but in the grand scheme of things...I think it is just natural human behavior. That being said, My momma always told me- If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all!!!

Oh my Brett 😞 The previews at the end of this weeks episode hinted Brett was getting cut. Brett was the only rookie i was invested in. I knew she didnt make it, but i was hoping she made it further through the season...sigh...

Who are the next cuts?
-
So, i had a thought. You know how some ladies dont dance 100% at practice all the time? I've seen some ladies conserve energy when practicing and dont kick 100% until they get in line and have to do the entire routine infront of judy and kelli with the jumpsplit...it would suck if she was conserving her energy and got cut...still her fault...but would still suck
-
Oh you missed the kick line and teaching of the jump splits, as well as maybe 5min segment on uniform fitting. They hardly spent any time at all on uniform fitting. Interesting thing that I noticed. They handed VK her uniform from last season. It was on a hanger with the dry cleaning plastic covering it. The other rookies got handed an uncovered unpressed uniform
