I loved her hair last season! A few subtle highlights are okay but they went really light.

Who here has been to a DCC related event and who did you meet? I was at The Star doing a tour when my cousin came to town but my kids were so rowdy I had to take them outside to wait for the tour to end. I happened to be in the right place at the right time because randomly the entire time lined up next to where we were standing in preparation for practice for the holiday show they do in December (they do it every weekend for a month on Fridays and Saturday). I was starstruck. The nicest one in the bunch was-- sorry, don't hate me--Maddie by a mile. Everyone was very, very polite but Maddie was engaging and kind. Must be because she is a natural with kids, like some others have mentioned on here. They were all in fulllll makeup and hair but had on cute winter clothes because it was 30 degrees out. Still glamorous-- AND TINY.

Evening thoughts: I feel for Meredith. My first impression of her was totally wrong and I really like her now. I was bummed Kristen didn't get any love from guest choreographers but she's on the team and that's what matters. I am so glad Amanda is on the show/team because lawddd they needed a strong dancer like her in that rookie class. My judgemental guess as to Lisa and show group is her stature-- she is ALL power and very dense. K and J have a very obvious preference for girls who are fluid like Meredith and VK. If I had a shot for everytime K fawned over Meredith's ballet background I'd be shwasted. Though weirdly, she didn't seem to see ballet as an asset when it was Erin... it was always "gotta shake the ballet out of her" like it was a virus.

Not going to lie, I expected to come here and see a bunch of praise for Kat because she said that she'd rather be homeless than give up her cat. Cat people-- in my experience-- regard this as the gold standard of viewpoints.

I totally agree about the choreo-- I can't stop watching Jena and Holly in that routine whereas with the current squad I was like meh.

Just sucks to see someone who is so sweet crumble under the pressure.

Okay wait I'm confused. I know the diamond is Amy/Maddie alternating point and then Tess and Lexie flanking. But who is behind Lexi on the left? I felt like I saw it Bridget before and now I'm seeing a blonde? I'm with you!!

VK looked great. IDC, roast me. I've always been more of a fan than others but she's really knocking it out of the park in every department except hair. It's pretty clear she feels like she was garbage before because she keeps saying how she's "totally different" now-- she wasn't THAT bad before but I'm glad it scared her straight. This is the right rookie class to show up in too, because they are kind of a mess. Gina Marie is SO in over her head. I think Meredith is one who would look substantially better if she was *allowed* to gain a few pounds but she is very enchanting. Lisa was fine. Christina is different lately. Rigid, kind of cold seeming? What's that about? I enjoy Amanda. Kat's speaking style is kind of annoying at times but I still am rooting for her because she's uncalculated (how could anyone who is putting on a show be that much of a mess when they communicate?) Lily and Kristen are smart to stay quiet and drama free because they are doing great *Insert meme of Kris Jenner you're doing amazing sweetie* I LOVE JEN'S CHOREO. I liked that this wasn't "cookie cutter"-- not exactly the same format as every other "first week of training camp." I was in the minority I guess but I enjoyed watching them deliberate based on scores at auditions. They spend all that time watching and scoring, it's nice to actually see where they all stand walking into camp! I was interested to hear them deliberate about point. Caroline, Bridget, Alanna mentioned. Who else, someone remind me? Welp, thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

I am so excited! I love that these girls dreams all came true tonight. I always cry when they reveal the team on the show (because I'm a softie and I can't even imagine how exciting it is). So, in summation.... YAYAYYAYAYYYAY!!!! Thank you to @ShellyB and our other insiders ❤️ Can't wait to watch the journey.
