  1. It definitely is a tough call for me if I dislike Peter more than Courtney, but they both were horrible. Courtney was so annoying in a different way than Peter though. Of current characters like her, I think Willow's unfortunately become the most similarly awful.
  2. She definitely could only be interested in men too. Gender identity doesn't indicate sexual preference and I don't think Terry's has ever been mentioned one way or another as an adult.
  3. I don't think he'd passed yet when they were filming these episodes. KS is still in them and I believe he passed away after her leave started (aka when Maxie will stop appearing on the show for a bit). So it's probably just a coincidence Monica mentioned him the other day! I'd expect his memorial episode to be closer to September/October.
  4. Cam and Jake have such great brotherly chemistry. I hope Hudson Thrift is one that they do let age up naturally. I think he's a great young actor. Man, I like Sam so much more when she's not moping over Jason. Those scenes with Elizabeth were great! They both are better off without him in their lives - Britt too. Carly is so clearly gleeful about the whole marriage thing too and it's disgusting. Her trying to get him to take her to the bridge is so typical. I didn't mind Britt/Jax either, especially because of how annoyed it'll make Jason AND Carly. Britt seemed happy too as they were off to have a better 4th of July. It was nice to see her off having fun rather than wallowing. I thought NuSpencer's line delivery was a bit rough his first day, but improved the second day. He looks the part and I think he'll improve as he gets more and more comfortable. I really like how they're clearly coupling him and Trina! It's about time she gets someone who is just about her. I hope he has no romantic interest in Joss. I have absolutely no interest in this Chase/Willow/Michael drama. Let him be free and go be with Brook Lynn instead. It's not even like Willow's torn and that makes it even worse. How can Chase not see how she's not about him at all anymore? Valentin/Anna, wow. They have such good chemistry!
  5. I really enjoyed Cam's graduation party and the crew that attended. I like that he considers Lucky's family his family in spite of how they've tried to walk back Lucky's involvement in his life. Assuming that ninja man is Spencer, I'm pleased that they recasted him! He does seem like he's going to be leaning heavily into those dark Cassadine vibes and I'm okay with it. They could definitely use someone new in the teen scene as I'm sick of it all revolving around Joss's whining. I hope the fact that his first scene is with Trina might allude to them being matched up. She deserves an actual love interest. Jason and Carly's MOC is so so dumb and literally makes zero sense. Even more dumb is Carly pretending it's a legit marriage to Bobbie, Jax, and Michael... Like why not tell the truth to the family at least? I also imagine she's secretly LOVING every second of this. That being said, I was living for Britt not taking any of Jason's crap. While Nik/Ava are on a break, I could be down for another Nik/Britt hookup. Also totally cool with her hooking up with Jax just because it'd bug Carly.
  6. I think Amber would cameo for something like this if they asked her back and she were in the area at the time. She's always been really positive about her soap days at GH. I'd love to see Skye back for it too. Maybe she could bring Lila Rae with her.
  7. Ugh, so sad to hear. I always liked when they found ways to bring him back in ghost form and never fully forgave them for that period of time where they were killing off so many Quartermaines, including someone who should've been on the show until the end like Alan. May he rest in peace and may the show remember him with a thoughtful tribute. I like the idea of renaming a hospital wing in his honor.
  8. I think I'm okay with NuDrew. I like Drew better than a lot of the male characters in his age group on the show and, as much as I'd like Billy Miller back, I don't see him being interested. Even if the recast doesn't work out, hopefully the character at least gets to go off alive versus his current predicament. Heck, maybe he can take Scout with him. Either way, for now, I'd rather have another Quartermaine around, even a retconned one, who actually cares about Monica and spends time with her. I like Drew & Curtis's friendship too. If Kelly Monaco is staying, I hope they have chemistry though because the other current option of Sam/Dante is terrible.
  9. They should've found some contrived reason for Carly to marry Jax again instead. They at least have some chemistry and, unlike Jason, Jax has nothing else going on. I feel like his scenes are solely to prop Nina (who has forgotten about him in favor of "Mike") and Joss. I really don't need Carly in the middle of the only time I like Jason even a little these days - with Britt. It's like how they threw Michael in the middle of Willow/Chase, pretended she'd pick Michael in any world over Chase, and absolutely destroyed the only good thing a pointless character like Willow had going on.
  10. Okay, I give in: I really like Britt/Jason. Those boxing scenes were fun. They're just so pretty together and have such good chemistry. It's such a step up from recent years of KM/SB too where they're supposed to be "in love" but it feels like they definitely might hate each other. Speaking of couples with chemistry, I also am intrigued by both Valentin/Anna, Valentin/Brook Lynn, AND Chase/Brook Lynn. I feel like they'll probably go the Valentin/Anna and Chase/Brook Lynn direction longer term, but there's a lot of chemistry all directions here. As others have mentioned, I also didn't really care for AS's Brook Lynn during her initial run, but since she's come back, I'm all about her. I wish there was some way that Brook Lynn and Valentin could keep Bailey forever because they're so cute with her and it'd be so much better if she were really their child versus Maxie and Peter's. Nik/Ava brought it in their angst-filled scenes yesterday too. I like that Ava put Avery first, especially since she often used to seem to struggle with that when it came to Kiki. I'm not as high on Finn/Elizabeth as others seem to be. He's just kind of dull to me in general. It's a step up from Franco/Elizabeth though. I hated that she was with him after everything he did, tumor or not. It's been nice having some time away from Nixon Falls. The show's so much better without that storyline in focus. I also am ready for Shawn/Alexis's prison storyline to end. It's so boring. Ugh, I do not need to watch Willow stay married to Chase just because he's paralyzed. LET. HIM. BE. FREE. They're such jerks for thinking this is somehow better for him. It'd be better if Willow loved them both for real, but the way they're playing it is just messed up. I feel like they could cut a significant portion of the cast and be better off, even though if they did, I'm sure they'd pick the wrong people.
  11. Well that would be wonderful! I miss Robin.
  12. Neither Sasha nor Brando are particularly compelling characters (plus the actors who portray them are mediocre at best), but they do have some solid soapy chemistry together. They're probably one of the better chemistry couples that have been paired recently. I can't get over how much I love MC's Nik. He's one of my favorite recasts on GH in years. Since he started, he's been breathing new life into the character, plus he has this electric romance with Ava, and he's easily one of my favorite characters on the show right now. The Sonny storyline is a complete fast-forward for me. The most boring! The only way I might've cared would've been if Brenda was the other woman in the story, but a Nina/Sonny romance does zilch to make this better. I prefer Jax/Carly to CarSon, but even that development has been moving at the speed of a tortoise so it's not very exciting. As for Willow picking bland Michael over Chase, well, don't even get me started. So so dumb. Other than Michael always winning by defacto, there's no reason she'd ever pick him over Chase. But sure, show. Peter needs to be dead tomorrow. He has officially reached Shiloh levels of "overstayed his welcome".
  13. I think it could've been more powerful if he'd mentioned Lucky and Drew in particular here, but I was glad there was a mention to other father figures he'd had. I thought William Lipton, yet again, killed it in the scenes with Zander too. He's 100% going to get snatched up by a primetime show sooner or later, but I hope we get Lucky back before he leaves so they can share scenes too. I really liked the whole episode! It was nice to see Alexis with all of her daughters, including Kristina. For once, Maxie seemed to understand that Peter's terrible and treat him accordingly. I was happy to see her standing up to him and seeing his true colors. I can't imagine he'll make it too much longer at this point now that he's killed multiple people and is openly threatening his pregnant wife. I liked Amanda Setton today too and am excited about that storyline. The only part I didn't like was Gladys. Ugh, go away. I'm not a particularly big Brando or Sasha fan, but they have chemistry, so that part was a bit better.
  14. Exactly! They could've played it a lot more like the John-is-Roman-but-wait-no storyline on Days of Our Lives. Instead, they acted like Sam suddenly didn't care about Drew at all and regressed every bit of forward movement she had since Jason's death in favor of them reuniting. It made zero sense and was a disservice to Drew's character. I also think they should've incorporated Drew's memories back into him and found a way so that he had both Jason's and his own. It would've given him a lot more room to continue to grow as a character. They wasted him and the Kim/Oscar plot they came up with was terrible.
  15. Same here! I became less bothered by Franco over time, but never particularly liked him. I couldn't stand him in the beginning and still don't know why they thought the character was needed at all after they did the whole James Franco stint. I'd much rather Liz have her happily ever after with Lucky and have him raising the three boys if that's all they were going to end up making Franco in the end. Despite all of this, I got teary at Cam's reaction though. Those scenes, man, William Lipton is just incredible. Becky and Kin also did a terrific job. I do like all the other people involved in that family unit. I know it's been theorized that they're in the process of SORAs-ing Jake or Aiden, but how weird is it that their reactions are happening offscreen? I imagine COVID must be restricting some of the kid actors, but it's weird how Violet, Wiley, and even Charlotte and Avery (those two less often) are still shown pretty frequently. Clearly, Jake and Aiden would be important in this storyline. Same with Rocco being MIA for Lulu's coma and James and Georgie missing Maxie's wedding. So bizarre. I very much do not want RH back as Drew and am super worried that's going to be the case. Also, I wonder why they even introduced Kim having that offscreen Franco-"Drew" baby? Seems like it's really not relevent now that Franco's dead.
