  1. I liked Jaja, she was great at her own style and interesting. However, I have no problem with her being cut, She wasn't terrible at Jazz/Contemp but she had no extension. Even though she looked the part, in ballroom she had no hip action. I would have ended up hating her if she had been Jose'd.

  2. One thing this show has done well over the seasons, is manipulate my feelings about most of the characters. I hated Alex for the first few seasons but now I care about him. I hated and loved Webber. Liked then hated Izzie, Bailey and Arizona. I liked then hated April but now, I'm rooting for her and Jackson. While at times I have wanted to slap both of them, I always enjoyed Meredith and Cristina's relationship, it had a real depth.

I never thought I would miss Mark or Lexie but I do. Didn't care for Amelia on PP, I wonder if that will change. I guess I'm just fickle. lol

  3. I've been rewatching past seasons of GA and the one thing that came through is that I never liked Owen. There's nothing endearing about him, I don't get what Christina saw in him, he's gruff, unwilling to compromise (who would force a woman to have a baby when she's repeatedly said in no uncertain terms NO?) and seemingly unwilling to work on his own problems. He did nothing positive for Christina, unlike Burke. And on top of that, I don't find him that attractive.

I agree with this except that I found him quite attractive at first and was happy that Cris was getting involved with a strong manly guy. That changed so very fast and by the time they married I just sickened by his manipulation, arrogance and deceit. So now, he is quite ugly to me.

  4. TMWT finally found a way to make me tolerate, even like Franco, for a minute. But then I can rationalize a huge length of slack for anyone that hates Sonny.  I will enjoy it now because I'm sure the thought of the Glittery Hoo-Ha will prevent him from actually doing anything about it.

If Neener ends up hating on Sonny I'm screwed but I figure the possibility of that is remote.

  5. It doesn't bug me that we don't know the wife, she is just the reason to make Walt suffer, as was Henry's frame up. Now that Walt has clued in to that he has a direction and more reason not to get involved with Vic or anyone. It could (and I believe it does) tie into his daughter's near murder and Branch's shooting.  Those things go back to the Res and Nighthorse and Strand. Speculation on my part, not meant as spoilers as I haven't read the books.

  6.  I think the show is mostly Walt's POV so since he didn't see any intimacy with Vic, we didn't see it. It's only after Lizzie gives him a clue that we see there is something there, at least on her part and him distancing himself from her. I think it's interesting because we don't yet know if he's attracted or what his reasons are for the distancing. She works for him so there's that reason. He is clearly not ready for a relationship until he resolves the wife's murder. Speaking of that, it doesn't bug me that we don't know the wife, she is just the reason to make Walt suffer, as was Henry's frame up. Now that Walt has clued in to that he has a direction and more reason not to get involved with Vic or anyone.

    *remainder moved to episode thread.

  7.

I don't consider what she does as anything entertaining, just tiresome and old. It's all Michelle has done for most of her soap career, imo, and it grew stale long ago as far as I'm concerned.

She may like and enjoy playing the crazy chick hell bent on revenge, but I don't considered her nearly talented or engaging enough to pull it off beyond a few minutes. Ron did find the perfect actress to play the Nina of his crafting, and to me that's about the saddest thing about the show at the moment.

ICA, plus she's no chick she's almost 50. She's Heather and Dr. O and I've already had enough of it.  I think they went way too crazy way too soon but perhaps MSt could not pull off anything subtle. I think RC woefully overuses the one note crazy over a man, cartoon woman.

  8.  I never really gave two shits about Tara so I don't care whether or not she's dead. Nobody on the show seem to either except Willa and I don't care about her either. Lala said it best, he mourned her the first time she died. I also thought Pam released her so that would explain Pam not feeling her die, or just not caring all that much if she did feel it.

I thought Hep-V was fatal? Why are all these infected Vamps still around?

Why is all this Sookie's fault? Because she was born part-fairy and has a fascination with Vamps? When Alcide was thinking "How can she love the dead?" I thought it was a valid question not an accusation. Walking home alone and dumping her phone because she was butt-hurt was beyond stupid.

The town of Bon Temps has a collective IQ of about 75.  I'm losing interest in watching the stupid.

  9. Good points made about Spinelli's lack of worthiness for full custody---does anyone remember what the judge's rationale was for that? I wonder why Diane isn't reminding the judge of the other side...the less than worthy aspects?

I'm afraid that if Diane does bring it up, the judge may now make the baby a foster child and ward of the state rather than giving it over to Maxie or even giving her visitation.

It wouldn't matter, he worked for Sonny the "good" mobster. [sarcasm font]

  10. Actually, from what I remember of the original storyline, there was a two-fold purpose in choosing Ashley as his target. Number one was her relationship to Victor, Number two was her relationship to Jack; Adam wanted to get back at/punish both Victor and Jack because of the whole stupid Diary Scandal, and tormenting Ashley was simply a means to an end. Adam simply saw Ashley as an effective tool to use in his war against Jack and Victor; he never hated her or her baby; he actually liked Ashley and was devastated when his ridiculous scheme went too far and resulted in Ashley falling down the stairs and losing the baby.

As far as the baby was concerned, I never got the impression that Adam wanted to eliminate it, in fact, he always came across as not giving two shits about it one way or the other. The target was always just Ashley, and that was because of her importance to the two men (Jack and Victor) who just screwed him over - at least that is how he saw it. Back then, MAB was writing Adam as a single-minded sociopath hell-bent on revenge. It has always been my belief that Chris Engen wanted out of the show because of the over-the-top, sick-ass storyline - and the whole Gay Scandal was simply manufactured by TIIC to make themselves look good to the viewers.

I did ff much of that stupidity so you are probably correct however I do remember some snark to Nick about having a new split to their inheritance because of the baby so I just made an assumption from there.

In one paragraph you say he was devastated, in the next he didn't give two shits about the baby. I'm not attacking your post, it just reminds me of how stupid and convoluted that whole s/l was played out.

  11. So it is possible Nina never was in a coma, and worked with Madeline to make it look that way.  She is still vengeful about Ava and the affair.  And the baby is out there somewhere.

Is it possible that Nina isn't Nina?  Given RC's love of having people walk around PC wearing other people's faces, it wouldn't surprise me.

Using no logic whatsoever like RC, of course both of these things are completely possible. At the same time.

  12. I can't see BM walking around town in a black leather jacket and being a mob hitman. Jason Q. the good son and doctor he can be. The mobster, just wouldn't work. MM would work better as Jason Morgan, BM would work better as Jason Quartermaine or a totally new version of Jason.

I can't really see either of them rocking the black t-shirt. MM would look like an Emo-wannabe and BM would just look silly.

  13.  I thought they already explained it all.  Daddy issues.  He tortured Ashley to punish Victor and eliminate the next Newman heir. Everything he did was about punishing Victor or trying to win his love. Except for Sharon.  At one time I thought he really loved her but then I got over it. When it came down to it, he chose Victor.

  14. How much of a hatchet job has Ron done to Duke? Right now he seems to be incredibly boring, bland, and useless.

Gah, I know! I used to love Duke but I tend to hate and/or be disgusted by anyone who wedges themselves up Sonny's ass. His obsession with Julian is just odd especially since Julian couldn't give two shits about it.  Or maybe because of that. lol

  15. I didn't mean that Molly would be in on it, but that when she went to the police station, instead of The Port Charles Police Department Theatre Company performance, Anna  could have just met her with "The Feds came and took him.  Drug trafficking is linked to terrorism and they took jurisdiction.  I have no idea where he is, but I'm sure he'll be in touch."

Then he could have sent Molly letters from whatever facility he was supposedly being held in, and she would have been sad because he was being wrongly held, but wouldn't be sobbing over his body bag.

Now I suppose the bad guys might still hit his family to prevent him from talking to the Feds, but Ric doesn't really HAVE any info to give - he was set up, and he can repeat that til kingdom come and it won't affect matters.  He has nothing to trade on the real villains.

    Next to Emma's doll baby!

I see your point but I disagree. With Ric "dead" there is no investigation and as far as Port Chuck is concerned Julian is out of the mob and his boss is dead. So he and Puke are safe to resume their drug trade. They won't be looking for Ric to eliminate him. No reason to threaten Molly or Liz to get him to confess. IMO while harsh, it's the smartest thing Anna has come up with in ages. Now, if she just can refrain from telling Duke...

  16. I really liked MP so I was excited to see him when CM first aired. However it seemed like the team was Gideon and The Rest of Them so I got tired of his unrelenting angst and wanted to learn more about the others. I do think the overall show was better then with less emphasis on the unsub and more profiling.

I hate Reid's hair. When I notice it, it looks ridiculous and I wonder how anyone is expected to take him seriously. Totally takes me out of the scene.

I was glad they finally gave Garcia something to do, other than stare at a screen and be the exposition fairy but it's freaking annoying that she must be so woobie about it, If your going to take the job of presenting the cases then just do it and quit bitching.

I think they merged Ellie, Emily and JJ into one character and it's all JJ, now.

Hotch has disappeared and I don't like it.

Shemar Moore isn't the greatest actor but I usually enjoy Morgan-centic episodes.

  17.

While true, you know what the best part will be?  Watching characters and viewers turn themselves into pretzels to justify how Ric lying to protect his family is somehow more noble than Julian lying to protect his family.

Maybe because Ric is actually innocent?
