That was great!!! I mean, I realised that Freddy was important pretty early on, but I didn't see that coming, even with having seen the trailer. But it would explain sooooo much.
Though I can't wait seeing them jump into other time pockets.

Guess if they had an idea how to tie in this time-line, they might have been able to adjust the season finale in time.

Can't wait! I really missed AoS….though it will be sad when the last episode airs. Hopefully it is extremely successful, at the very least in streaming. Because I still want an "Agents of Swords" follow up.

The season was filmed directly after season 6. I am actually not sure how many information they had when they wrote this thing.

I think Gigi's "down to earth" behaviour works against her. I mean, imagine that you are the first queen which manages a Snatch game/Rusical/Ball Triple. Wouldn't you brag just a little bit? At least in the confessional where the other queens can't hear you? It is exactly because she doesn't that she comes off as overly controlled. I am not sure if I have actually seen the true Gigi at any point of the competition, it is as if she is always on the stage. Which, I guess, she is, but part of the show is to actually get to know the contestants.

Yeah, this sums it up pretty well...I just realised, she reminds me of a young Diahann Carroll (RIP).

I am not even that much of a sports fan, but I guess I'll watch the marble race...
I wonder how many new subscribers they got since LWT aired. At this rate ESPN might approach them for TV rights. After all, they have to fill their programming with something other than the Bundesliga and reruns.

Well, the good thing is that this time around the winner isn't obvious. In the last seasons, it was always pretty clear who the forerunner is, despite attempts to built up a rival. I have the feeling that this time the audience voting might have more of an impact on the final decision.
Honestly the only thing which speaks for Crystal is that her drag is a little bit more unusual, and Ru usually looks for the ones which have something special to make them stick out...Sharon Needles with her gothic drag, Violet with her fashion sense, Bob with her talent for comedy (though I guess if Kim Chi were a better performer, she would have taken the crown), Aquaria with her aloof but still relatable demeanour aso. Gigi just lacks this special element, she comes off like a lesser Aquaria due to her inability to just let go. And while I do think that Jaida has something special about her, it is harder to define.

Fraggle Rock is fine, but just, well, fine. I can barely remember anything Chrystal has done this season, other a few corky outfits. I don't even remember what she did in Snatch game.
Mea Culpa, Gigi won the Snatch game, too. No idea why I thought that she didn't. But exactly that is so puzzling. With a Snatch game/ Ball / Rusical Triple win she should be the obvious forerunner but somehow she isn't. Maybe it is just careful editing, but there is something missing.

The track record is clearly important. One good day doesn't make a winner imho.
Anyway, let's get through the top 4.
Sherry Pie I didn't like anyway. She kept falling back on her crutches, but there was little else to her. Kind of glad that I don't have to see her for the finale tbh.
Chrystal Method just doesn't do it for me. I know she is meant to be the corky queen, but after Ivie Oddly she looks downright pedestrian. And she is actually less memorable to me than Queens which weren't trying half as hard to be strange, like Katya or Ongina. I actually kept forgetting that she is still on the show.
Gigi I thought was a shoe-in for the win after she won both the ball and the Rusikal and came close to winning the Snatch Game. Those are usually the "big Challenges" in which you should do at least decent, unless you have some special talent which just makes you stick out. But overall, Gigi is just too overprepared. She is kind of boringly perfect. Her drag is elegant, but it doesn't have the "wow, this is fashion!" effect Violet managed to create, nor has she the creativity of Aquaria. Plus, those two had distinctive personalities. I honestly know nothing about Gigi other than she always tries to be perfect in anything. Aquaria's open admission of having trouble to speak freely as well as Violets "talent" to say the wrong thing made them look human. Gigi seems to be constantly editing herself, weather she is doing a challenge or not being in the workroom. It is kind of exhausting to watch, and I have no idea who she is other than her being able to sew because of her mother.
I think I'll be routing for Jaida. Her talents are a little bit less obvious, but the way she staged her commercial showed a lot of sense for selling herself. Plus, she is the only ones who provides lip syncs which felt like she was really feeling the music and not just doing acrobatics and faces on the stage,-

The reference to the German Bundesliga was kind of confusing. I immediately looked up if there had been two new Corona cases found after the games last weekend, but I didn't find anything. Maybe he was referring to the cases they found during the quarantine time?
To elaborate: what they did over here is to isolate the players for two weeks, testet them and only then allowed the games to happen. It's a huge strain and wouldn't be possible if not for the fact that our test capacities are currently not fully used anyway. But there have been and still are a lot of discussions regarding the Bundesliga getting a special status.
The Marple competitions remind me of domino day.

Just for the record: Our various companies over here in Germany have changed the rules for delivering packages. Instead of the receiver signing for it, the delivery man signs himself, and they can put the package on the doorstep, ring the door bell and then keep their distance. Organising the distance in the sorting stations was more complicated, though. But they are doing the best to protect their people.

How about the news that June died brings Neal back to New York? They could cast a different actress as "Young June" and this giving the character and the actress a fitting good-bye.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have moved from "I maybe watch Black Widow in theatres if the reviews are good" to "I can't wait to see another MCU movie in theatres, no matter which one". I miss so many things we took for granted.

S07.E01: The New Deal
in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.
So, some random thoughts what I liked the most about the episode…
For one, the score...when they are ´walking the streets, investigating, there is this constant drumming, which just on its own makes you feel anxious. Great way to keep up the suspense.
Two, they obviously had a lot of fun dressing up Daisy. Great costumes.
Three, I really like how they play with the trope that someone important needs to be rescued. Because that is the route any other show would have picked.
