Maybe a clue is the model of her vagina (which I think is actually her vulva; body positivity apparently isn't into accurate labeling) that she has on display in her living room.  Or, actually, for me, that's a clue I shouldn't even try to understand her "look" because we're clearly from different planets.

She did say she had been doing "a lot of painting and sculpting" recently! who knows what might be next?? 😱

Kate was actually funny for a brief second. "I would sooner go for a woman than one of the twins."

Did I say funny?  I meant cruel. My bad.

Kate clearly thinks she is a comedienne.  How many of the women did she ironically address as "my sister in Christ" while saying she liked Hayden's money while Logan couldn't even afford to work out at Equinox? LMAO--not.

To be honest, I'm kinda digging Johnny now and I thought he was unattractive before. Maybe I have bad taste; at least for reality tv guys.

I have always thought Johnny was made for BIP, or at least what I think BIP should be--chill, hot, not dumb, up for a good time, sweet.  He has definitely grown on me this season.

So Alexis said yes just to not look bad after Justin said yes and then when he pushes her on it he eventually gets her to say no.  It might look like he was engaging in relationship sabotage but I think he just had her number by then and was forcing the truth out of her.

I think Lindy and Miguel might be the only couple that makes it for the long haul on this season.  Nate and Stacia are still on somewhat shaky ground.  Krysten was trying like heck to keep things classy by talking about open doors but then when Mitch basically slapped her back into reality it only confirmed for her that she made the right decision to say "no" and suddenly she started taking her white gloves off a little when talking to the camera.  I do wonder if she would have said "yes" if he did if only because she was determined to give this thing everything she had if at all possible.  Those eggs of hers have an expiration date and she knows it.

I'm seriously considering devoting all next season to reading Dostoevsky rather than watch another season of this crapfest.   They are not giving us enough time between seasons anymore and it's just getting to be too much.

Am I the only one who thought that Alexis once again showed herself to be the queen of shit-stirring when she pushed Mitch in front of the group to admit that he didn't intend for any doors to be left open, that that was all Kirsten ??  She is THE WORST.  I hope Maya is back home with Justin.

Statistical Outlier--we posted at almost the same time.  I agree!

I have to say I was Team Mitch for once in the final argument - he was trying to be cool without saying he had no interest in the open door, until the others forced it.  But I'm happy for Krysten that they did so she can just move on.

I always say that if they like each other they should stay together and see how things go without cameras.  But the way they talk about their decisions - which I know is producer managed - would make me want to say no if I had to hear about how my partner was so confused and unsure of wanting to be with me until the moment before Decision Day!

Preview for next week look interesting - did I hear Justin claim Nate had hit on him, or have I had too much wine? 😳

I heard Justin say that too!!!!!

Why is Justin 😳 back? Props to Aaron of all people for calling Genevieve out for gaslighting and mean girl that she is of course can’t recognize when she’s wrong and going to the extreme of I’m out of here, talk to the hand.

It’s like we get 1 RC in 6 episodes.

Did shanae leave? I didn’t see her in the 2nd hour.

Aaron, unlikely voice of reason!! he has really won me over this season! his logic is apleasin!

I don’t like Kate, she seems like she is performing rather than being herself. They need to have everyone on the same beach; it is boring watching the women sitting around whining. I think they should have kept Rick and Olu and just thrown everyone together.

I have never seen anyone generate more cliches in a row than Kate.  She was like a terrible stand up comedienne at one point.  She and Logan are both dull as dirt and may well be happy together.

And a Canuck…none other than Jesse Palmer.

Jesse is still hotter than most of the guys, except for Australian Adam and Alex from Rachel's season IMO.  Every time I see him in his classy adult garb, I feel like I've taken a refreshing little break from the chaos.

In the off-season, I heard Jill on a podcast and she was really funny and cool and smart.  I was looking forward to seeing more of her in BiP.

But she's clearly spiraling. I think there's a perfectly good Jill in there, but she is not suited for this environment.

I'm not without sympathy for Lace.  This whole twist was designed, as usual, to cause as much misery as possible with the women.

But if Eliza threw that million-watt smile at ME, I would forget Lace's name no matter how much we'd been making out.

I agree on all counts.  I'm especially sympathetic to Lace.  She has behaved relatively well this round and she has clearly been through a ringer of her own devising.  I'm uncomfortable with how relentlessly she is being demonized and mocked, particularly by Wells,  especially since she is older and practically a monster by the ridiculously ageist standards of this show.  I was happy when Rodney chose her, and I'm equally happy for him now.

I did too, until I remembered that the "prize" was Shenae.  Actually, I don't think either guy was that into her beyond securing another rose and while she liked the attention, she didn't seem that into either of them.  I would have preferred that James stayed over Logan, but my cynical side thinks Shenae picked him because he would be less desirable to newcomers and therefore more likely to stick with her.  Too bad she didn't know how he "switched" bachelorettes midstream and was rumored to hook up with someone else offscreen while filming.

I disagree.  Logan was desired by two bachelorettes even though he switched.  Nobody has liked James much except for Aron.  Logan ranks higher in Bach-verse hierarchy IMO.  Shenae made the more prestigious choice.

I'm going to go ahead and assume Justin cried after he got the bra off and the marriage was consummated.

he would cry even more if he heard Alexis trashing his performance to the other wives.  She is relentlessly determined to undermine him at every turn and it is so awful.  She is a mean person.

I know, it bothered me that she blamed herself for the situation, but I did feel a little better when she later said she knew she didn't do anything wrong.  And I don't think she did anything wrong, despite the way he acted about it.  He doesn't get her.  And she is trying like heck to get him but I don't know that he's really capable of getting her and I even wonder if she will ever be able to get him.  They might always be enigmas to each other.  It would suck to live in a relationship like that.  They both need someone that won't clash with them at their core.

When she was blaming herself,  I took it as a strategy, however unconscious, to exaggerate in order to make him feel bad  and stop picking on her.  Yeah No, your analysis is spot on, but Lindy can be manipulative in the way she fights.  She did a lot of "I can't do anything right, I'm always wrong," while he was meticulously going on about whatever specific incident pissed him off. Both of them are maddening, but he was worse by far than she was.

Agree.  It is a “guys have the roses this week” match of convenience.

Shanaenae likes her men bland and not too bright, all the better for her to shine.  I suspect Jacob and Logan are going to vie for her hand.  With Aaron possibly in the mix, she is going to be the belle of the ball.

    Amen!

First off, why couldn't she be honest on the application?  She clearly knew it was wrong which is why she confessed it to Binh.

Binh may have erroneously thought you can't be an RN without a bachelor's, but he basically was confronted with: the stranger I married just told me she lied on the application.  What else did she lie about?

A normal person would chalk it up to a misunderstanding that was catapulted by the confession and also assumed some blame.  Well, I did lie on the application, even if it was a technicality, and he made an incorrect assumption based on my telling him I liked on the application.  Most people would've given him a little grace knowing that he's paired with a stranger and the lie reveal would probably have most people wondering:  who did I marry?

She takes ZERO blame.  And then she has the gall to talk constantly about her inability to trust him. Why didn't the show ever hold her the slightest bit accountable?  Instead, Binh sounds like a battered spouse.

I've said it before but given before she ever met Binh, she was already accusing him of lying about having COVID,  she can't trust anyone because she knows she's not trustworthy.

I completely agree with all you say here and think that is exactly why she might threaten to sue!!! She will do anything to look innocent.  But yes, the experts shouldn't have taken that seriously (if that is indeed what happened).

  14. Like everyone else, I am really baffled about why the experts continued to back up Morgan in such a servile manner.  But Yeah No, your post made me wonder: do you think she threatened to sue them for defamation of character or something?  That moment where she held up her license on her phone was very revealing, as you said.

I had hopes for Mitch but when he said to Kirsten, while slurping away, that they were living in a temporary house so he had "gone easy" on her, I knew things were going south, even before makeup gate.

Yes, I remember Casey, from a group date on Michelle's season where they had to write a poem.  He either did a really good job, or we learned he journaled a lot, or that he had a job that involved writing, or something like that.

I am having a very vague memory that he did some kind of spoken word/rap thing and it wasn't terrible?? he definitely seems to have some smarts and an edge, which I am appreciating this season.

Lindy seems so lazy. Not only does she barely work, around the house she doesn’t do much either. Miguel is always cooking and he even had to stay up with the fake baby. I’m sure he will tire of that soon. She had the nerve to call Mitch a bitch?

So much this!! I was team Lindy until this week. Some of the Lindy haters can definitely say I told you so at this point.  She also had the nerve to complain about how exhausted she was when Miguel was the one getting up with the baby!!! SMH.

I think she fancies herself a real "catch."

A "knockout" in the "looks" dept and a real "brainiac" intellectually.

I think her opinion of her "charms" are vastly overrated.

my favorite Alexis moment last night was when Justin told her that she didn't want to be married to him and had hurt him and her response was, I'm a wonderful woman and will make someone very happy even if it's not you. Priceless!

Morgan needs to take a hard look at herself.

    • No one has to keep a secret in which you lied. This one might not been a whopper of one, it might have been a technicality.  But she clearly knew it was wrong which is why she confessed it as some deep dark secret to Binh.
    • She's clearly capable of lying about other things.
    • She's very paranoid  about lying to the point where before she even knew Binh's name, she already had it in her head he was lying about having COVID.  That's not a normal reaction and to me very telling -- she's quite clearly capable of pulling a stunt like that, probably has, so she knows other people are as well.

Binh was wrong, clearly misunderstood that she could be a nurse w/o a bachelors.  I can understand her being upset that he was telling people that she wasn't really a nurse.  But would he have made that leap without her deep dark secret/lie?  Nope.

In my experience, the people that go on and on about being someone "lying to their face" are always the ones that do that routinely to other people.

I can understand if Binh's knee jerk reaction impugned her character (well, when it comes to her actually being a nurse) would be a sore spot.  That the therapist didn't even try to understand how and why this happened and just accepted Binh's Stepford Wives type of responses of everything is his fault without prodding further disturbs me, particularly when he opened up about his own father's way of shouting at him creating triggers for him.  Unless it's just editing, it bothered me that there seemed to be zero questioning of Morgan for why Binh walked away thinking SHE was the major liar.

I forgot to add to my earlier comment that before this episode aired, we had a clip of Dr. Pia in her interview with Binh and Morgan calling someone "vindictive."  Of course I assumed, and I think we were meant to assume, that the vindictive person was Morgan.  And she turned out to be referring to Binh!!!! 😨

That whole scene reminded me of Rachel's interminable berating of Tino for not apologizing on the Bachelorette finale when he apologized multiple times, including in writing.  Just not the way Rachel wanted.  Tino is a sleaze but Rachel was so implacable that I ended up on his side.  Binh is no Tino!

I feel so sorry for Binh and he of all people should never have been hooked up with someone like Morgan who really intimates him like his own father did…. Maybe the ‘experts’ thought she was a caring person because she’s a nurse.  He’s the nurturing one, who gives her flowers and jumps up to get her kleenex when she’s crying about how horrible he is. *free Binh

When he said he was triggered by Morgan's rage, I couldn't believe how cold she was about it! wouldn't being traumatized by an abusive parent explain why he can't talk to her or apologize with enough emotion to satisfy her?  I think Dr. Pia is a huge improvement over Dr. Viv and she was fantastic with Alexis, but she really dropped the ball with Morgan and Binh.

  20. Speaking of creepy patriarchs, I found the whole--Sean, please advise Zach who looks up to you while keeping your arm around your wife and mother of your three children in the smuggest way possible really annoying.  I don't think Katherine would have said a word had Jesse not asked her to speak.  He is "Bachelor Royalty"--all bow down!!  Give me single metrosexual Nick any day.

I once saw an episode of WIFESWAP which was Jason and Molly swapping with Sean and Katherine.  Poor Molly had to cook Sean his plain ground turkey every night and serve her man.  Katherine had a lovely vacation.
