Oh my ... no one told me about a Gilmore Girls rewatch (looks side eyed at deaja) ... I watched the entire series last year for the first time, and need an excuse for a rewatch, and now I have one! Will do my best to catch up quickly ... Incidentally ... there is a thread announcing rewatch projects here. Maybe someone needs to post something there if you want more peeps to join?

So I was watching the Pilot again for the umpteenth time and I caught something I didn't catch before ... and I think I only caught it because of some discussion around here about how ludicrous it was for Sam not to know who Leo's daughter was. I am not saying it makes it plausible that he didn't know, but I think the writers were trying to cover that base, albeit weakly. The scene where Sam and Cathy were talking and Cathy was telling him that Leo's wife called: If he didn't know who Leo's wife was, could it be possible he didn't know who Mallory was? Yeah, like I said, it was weak, but it was an attempt. Did any one catch that, or am I late to the party (which is most likely the case).

OMG, all kidding aside, that is a kick ass night story! BEER ME UP!!!

Is anyone planning on seeing this? Sally Field and Tyne Daly, how could it go wrong? The setting is not something that I usually see at the theater, preferring to spend my money on action/adventure stuff for the big screen, however, this one kind of excites me based on the actors and the subject matter. If anyone does see it, I would be interested in a review, thanks!
