    EXACTLY!

    EXACTLY!

EXACTLY!   And their mother seemed too needy for attention!

THIS is FABULOUS!   I hope she stops with whose eyelashes and ALL injections after she sees herself on TV.

That sister was way to concerned with herself...kept flipping her hair (it's a serious attention whore move). She is probably MOH and wants all the attention. Little sister put her in her place, ya? Got to stand up to those bullies.

Kim was such a fun bride. Randy nailed it "well, you came in ostrich feathers"...the portrait of Chewie was great. Randy adores his mother, no doubt. He's featured her many times in the most fun ways. I think that when he says Chewie is the most important thing to him, he's referring to daily personal comfort.

I loved Peter! I used to work at a high end store and guys like Peter made a killing on commissions. I thought he read the bride and her needs really well. Huh, guess I’m the sole dissenter.

I like Peter too. He has great enthusiasm and do feel he read the bride correctly...and she went home very happy even with her ridiculous Mama...

  3. Pantora is an African American led design house. That may be draw for the religious bride. The 'body con' look is a total miss for me. I think weddings should reflect the romance of the couple, not 'how hot & flashy can the bride be'...Being too revealing makes everyone uncomfortable. Look back on those pictures with your children in 15 years...lots to think about when buying a gown.

I enjoy Gok's brides. He is so thoughtful when picking dresses. "Laura" the tomboy bride had no clue...she was stunning. And her dad had the prettiest smile.

From what her Mom & sister said, it sounds like she's like that with everything - hard to please!  Maybe she wasn't articulating what she wanted because she was so confused herself.  Although I do think the consultant should've brought in a dress with no bling just to see what she thought about it.  Problem is, she was so nitpicky about everything!  She probably would've found something wrong with anything they put on her!

She needs to go home and do a Google search for bridal dresses and at least narrow down the look she's going for to a few dresses, then when she goes dress shopping she won't be so overwhelmed.  I thought she gave up too easily.

Perhaps the mom/sister aren't listening to the bride. I grew up that way. Mom/sister had similar tastes. I'm a renegade to the bone. Never liked shopping with either one of them. I always felt like I was being pushed to something I'm not. I totally understood when she said the next time she goes shopping she's going alone.

  5. LaQuesha was a little too much for me. The first dress was an abomination, which Randy very diplomatically told her was a no go and why! The tulle & feather explosion wasn't it either, I hope she changed her mind. The 3rd dress was exactly what she wanted and it looked the best on her, was elegant & classy...

Blonde, petite bride just wasn't into it. The consultant was no help. I agree with the bride that she'll shop alone next time.

England episode, that has now been exiled to early Sunday mornings. Raven's dresses all were gorgeous, although I thought the one she chose said red carpet rather than wedding. Frilly altered dress looked like someone had glued tissue paper to it. Just awful.

I loved Raven! She looked great in everything. Jade made a great choice as well. That 'not quite pink, not quite blush' dress was a horror...It looks awful on everyone because it's just awful...some brides go way overboard to be 'unique'...epic fail. And it clashed with her hair. I just set up a  'record' feature for the England show. I find it a wonderful surprise to find it in my recordings.

  7. Transgender bride, bless her heart is still shaped like a man, boobs & all. Seemed like a really great person. And I did like the dress she chose. Her fiancée also chose a great gown. Jenny Tolman is an up & comer in Nashville. And she is very talented. I get the ugly duckling aspect of the episode. Her family demonstrated clearly why she struggled during her teens and why she still compares herself to her sister...I know about not being the favored child. She'll move away from that as time goes on and as long as her new hubby helps build that confidence. My 2nd marriage gave me such fabulous confidence. In his eyes I was perfect (even though we both know I'm not).

Kelli is only in her late 50’s. She has a long way to go before retiring in my opinion.

You can access retirement accounts at 59-1/2. I think Kelli is about 57. For Social Security she could access her husband's at 62 then wait until she's 70 to access her own when it fully matures...I retired at 62 using the hubby's SSA, my 401 & the hubby's union retirement. At age 70 mine exceeds his by several hundred dollars.

I think the key is that good DCC dancers routinely drink while underage and have always (and always will) mess around with players.

The DCC marketing has always been the same as it was for the young Britney Spears: Look like an object purely intended for the male gaze, but pretend you're a good Christian virgin who wouldn't let butter melt in your mouth.

Holly's anger (and Jenna's, because she was pissed too) came from being called on behavior that they had been engaging in since they made the team, and who learned how and where to do it from vets that got away with it.

We have to remember that the DCC are not what they pretend to be, and management knows that.

I think the key here is staying under the radar. Holly isn't the type...so it came to their attention and it couldn't be hidden.

I'll take a young woman who knows her worth (Holly) over a young woman who is trying so hard to fit into a box that her face is nigh un-recognizable (Lacy, and countless others), every single time.

apples & oranges....Holly highly overestimated her worth. When you make the choice you accept the consequences, big lesson for Holly. Replay the scene in Kelli's office...Holly blatently lied then did some serious backpedaling when directly called out on it.

Is it Angela who's asked who's your celebrity crush and she responds with something along the lines of "I'd hadn't even thought about that, all I've brushed up on was Cowboys history and the squad." Also, celeb crush is such a crappy question to ask.

Especially since one girl answered "Justin Beiber"...ew, haven't you matured beyond the teenybopper yet? At that age (which totally dates me) was the very young & juicy Robert Redford.

  12. Presley is on the trendy 'new' names list. A friend has a daughter Pressley who is about 20, He's an Elvis fan & a working musician, so it just seemed and extension of his quirks when she was born. I work in middle/high schools so always see the trendy names...but the ridiculous spellings are what gets me...those poor kids. I always ask them to pronounce their names for me...gives them some power over it. And I always remember.
