Last year Rachel Yuki was front and center so I wonder how they can demote her. Amanda, Kat and Victoria were 3rd row, so Kat is probably front row now. Dani had also a very prominent position, last year, in front of all her classmates, so I think she also could find herself front row now.

I have to disagree on the part that she was barely mentioned before.
She absolutely was mentioned before!
Perhaps that she flew under the radar last season when everything and everyone was masked up and some have been able to discover her now during game performances, but she definitely was mentioned.

Lea is probably a great dancer who is able to convey the deepest emotions in her dance. She looks like fun too and she looks like she is very creative.
But if we are talking glamour, and that is certainly what I am talking about, she come in last. Least glamourful DCC on the squad and least glamourful DCC in years. Maddie is almost Lana Turner or Rita Hayworth compared to her.
At least she didn’t trip during the kickline. That’s for glamorous women. Just shake it off Dani! Don’t let it get to you!

I don't know if the Saintsations are anything like the DCC, but the DCC are all over dictating what the cheerleaders do with their body: weight, hair color/length/style, appearance/behaviour (to a certain extent) off the field, etc. Requiring a vaccine doesn't surprise me -- especially when they have so many others lining up for that same spot.
And she wasn't cut -- she chose to quit.
I agree. Incredible one-sided.
As if a person's freedom does not end where another person's freedom begins!

In a couple of years the DCC has changed so much. More than half (61%) are from last and this year. Judging from other posters in here, how they don't know the last years girls, this DCC squad must be something completely new for them.
Well, I am very, very happy about the team and how glamorous it has become in just two seasons!
I see that KayDyanna and Christina are not that similar anymore. Both have been (by own choice or not, that is what we will find out) toned down a bit. Christina has less makeup and tanning and KayDianna's hair is more like Caroline. Besides the fabulous 3 comeback girls, I think that Tyra, Kleine and Jensen are coming in with a lot of sparkle. My big unknowns are Lea and Rebecca. I am excited to see them in action!

As long as Jerry Jones has had the Cowboys, there were only pretexts.
No one could ever argue that the Cowboys are there to win Superbowls. They are there to give meaning to Jerry. The Dallas Cowboys only reason is to nepotise (is that a word?) the hell out of this world.
The new assistant director might as well be Hayley. It would help the Jones family to have a passtime/hobby for its offspring.

I forgot about Lacey because in my mind Lacey is somehow two persons: the shy girl who auditioned and the Lacey she became. However, this does not change the fact that you are right, Lacey had the most dramatic rhinoplasty surgery!

Well, the facts are there.
A squad of 36.
All TCC cuts were triple confirmed before the last 2 cuts and Ava & Presley were the last 2 cuts.
Beside Madeline posting about being at Dynamic Sports Medicine in Dallas we got the double confirmation about Presley and Ava (besides the circumstancial evidence from their social media).
If we know the last cuts, we do not need an extra confirmation that Madeline made it because we know it is a squad of 36.
We can safely say: we know the 36 members of the DCC 2021 squad.

No need to manufacture drama but it still happens. The well known Malena cut was manufactured. Malena was miles off, had a pattern of not being able to remember routines (was the first Flight Crew member that didn’t dance - do you think that Denise Garvey isn’t able to tell if someone messes up? Denise is a ex-DCC) and they (TPTB) kept her to be cut for drama’s sake.
There are countless examples of manufactured drama.

Besides, look at how many non-technical dancers KILL on show group....Ashlee, Kashara, and the GOAT Nicole Hamilton. Not the most technical dancers, but they all have the "IT" factor.

Oh yes, #TeamKat.
As a card-carrying member of #TeamKat I can say that #TeamKat is the easiest team to be in. It is very self explanatory. Unlike some other soft spoken girls, Kat doesn’t need to be hyped. She does everything herself, thank you very much. Who else gets asked to tell a joke during the interview rounds and pulls it off? Who else makes her Lucchese cowboy boots look like go-go boots with her long legs? Who else stands out from the nosebleed seats?

I am certain that Kat will manage to get airtime on the show, well into her third DCC year. She doesn’t demand more airtime, she just makes it happen with lines like:”If you are not frying your hair, you are not doing it right”.
What I would like to convey about Kat is that she is a great team member and a great friend. She reaches across her own rookie class and has connected with all the years.
It is very disappointing to notice, after a couple of years, that girls you were fan of, were mean girls on the team. I do not think Kat will be one of them. Kat is on the team to have a great time and focussing on others is waisting energy.

Precious little Madeline Molloy had also something done. I can’t put my finger on it, maybe her lips, but she definitely doesn’t look like Madeline Molloy in her first year.
Out of all the girls having work done, Heather O’Connor’s rhinoplasty was the most dramatic.

I won't share any opinion of how I think she looks, as I think all of these girls get their looks picked apart enough by TPTB on a daily basis. I just want her to be fully healthy no matter what. Mentally and Physically. That's all that matters to me.

Who knows, Kat finally took classes before the season and came back all powerful.
However, there is something about Kat we all can see and that is her ability to interact (not necessarily limited to talking) with people. Fun is her middle name.
Also, we should all be very careful to listen to Kelli talk about SG and assume that what Kelli says is actually true. SG is not a world class dancing team, but rather a collection of girls Kelli puts her trust in to represent DCC. Some past and current members were never world class dancers.

Well, Dani had me at “Puyallup” and she is definitely my favourite, #TeamDani. So I am excited about her but also with Marissa, who is a such a bright ray of sunshine on the team. What she lacks (and some might argue quite a lot) she makes up with her spirit and unbridled enthousiasm. Claire is also someone I look for. She is just such a great dancer.
On the new rookies, besides from the obvious #TeamMadelineSalter (what a class act) and #TeamAshlinn (who is perfect) and #TeamTori, I am very curious to be enthralled by Kleine, who is simply wonderful, Amber, who is such a great dancer and Kelee, who never is at the center of pictures but yet attracts all of my attention.But out of all the new rookies, I am already a big fan of #TeamChristina who gives Kat a run for her money and who could stand toe to toe with any DCC in the past and #TeamKayDianna, who brings levels of unprecedented glamour to the team.
So, yes, I am excited and very much connected to the squad, regardless what our East Texan mental m***** has done to prevent this. I can’t wait for season 16!

Thank you for posting this. Amber made the squad.
Reading through Amber L's journey I noticed that she was very much encouraged by Megan Hurley. Megan Hurley? At first I was: who is Megan Hurley, I don't know a DCC named Hurley. I had to look it up. But then I saw it:
Megan Hurley's maiden name is Carcioppolo!
Megan Hurley-Carcioppolo was wonderful. And she still is wonderful. One of my all time favorites. #TeamMegan
We couldn't enjoy Megan's presence for that long because she was only 2 years on the team. Only two years! I don't think that the girls that later on got to be point, would have been point if Megan would have stayed. She was a powerhouse.
