  1. I'm with you Samantha! I LOVED Beckett's hair during season 3. I don't know why they lightened her hair. I feel like along with the lighter hair, Stana also become more tan. I think she looks good, but I prefer her when she's not so dark. I hope that she and the "hair team" will forgo the extensions for this season. I don't imagine she loves sitting in the "hair" chair for an hour each morning. I could be wrong though!
  2. HalaciHU, I'm pretty sure that the picture of Kate's "murder board" isn't fake. The tumblr picture comes from a prop guy on Castle via twitter. He says that the pics are from a 'photo meeting,' whatever that means. It includes her murder board, what looks like a head shot of a male actor (but, his face is covered so you can't see anything), a list of some sort that is highlighted (the words are too small to read anything), and a copy of the script of 7x01. I have a feeling Castle's disappearance it's 3XK related. The head shot is really hard to make out, but it kinda looks like the actor's round face to me - but, if Castle is somehow involved I don't know how it could be 3XK related. I know that everything Halwiederman said is speculation. It's just the only real "meaty" spoiler that I've read so far so I'm speculating that it might have some truth to it. Of course we won't know until the episode actually airs. I like spoilers though. Makes the hiatus not seem so long! In regards to the Biermann tweet, I didn't think there was any hidden meaning behind it. I just answered Cappuccino that it was from Veritas because that is the only episode that I can remember that had a blood smear along a wall. Plus, it actually looks like the blood smear from that picture. He told someone specifically that it wasn't from 6x22 in a tweet. I think it's interesting that he would do that if he's not sure what episode it came from. His pic/tweet is not a big deal to me, it just made me curious since he stated that it wasn't from what we all were assuming it was. Halwideman, I hope you don't choose to leave either. I'm also interested in what you have to say. Please share!
  3. Hey everyone, I just read through all of the posts on this thread and I thought I would add my two cents. Halwideman's spoilers sound interesting. I'm not sure how I feel about Castle possibly losing his memory or (and more importantly) that the he may have something to do with the crash. I can't see any logical explanation as to why he would be involved. As Cappuccino quoted above, Castle told Martha that he didn't want to wait anymore (to get married) in Dressed To Kill. How/why would he have changed his opinion and decided to sabotage their wedding? There is a picture floating around on tumblr that seems to show that Kate has started another "murder board" at her old apartment. I'm hoping that they don't decide to drag out Castle's disappearance and have Kate revert back to the person she was when trying to solve her mother's murder. She closed that portion of her life and was moving on. What's the point of bringing her back there? Also, I wonder if AWM & Co have any intention addressing Kate's whole "previous marriage" storyline now that they know (at least I'm assuming they know) that so many fans were upset by it. I'm inclined to think that they are just going to leave it be like they have so many other times. I just have to say that I'm still really annoyed with that addition to her character. I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall when Stana read the FBOW script for the first time. lol I'm not sure if Halwideman left this board, but I wouldn't mind hearing about any other spoilers he/she has, if there are more. Please share!
  4. Wow, well then I have no idea what he is referring to with the picture. It looks exactly like Beckett's head smear to me. I don't remember there being any "blood shed" in FBOW. I hope he shares where it's from. It's going to bug me until we find out.
  5. Cappuccino, the blood on the wall is from Veritas - after Kate falls and drags her head along the wall when walking down the hallway.
  6. schnauzergirl - I hope they don't go the baby route. As much as I think a Caskett baby would be cute, I think it's something they should save for the end of the series, or at least until the end of season 8 if it goes past next season. Deeda - I've watched it again too, and it's was not as annoying the second time around. The little bits of comedy, like Castle's scream, etc, were the best bits of the episode. It doesn't make up for the crap they did to Kate's character for me, but it was nice to be able to appreciate the episode for what little there was in terms of good writing.
  7. merylinkid - I agree with you. They are adults and if they don't feel comfortable doing it, making them seems like it would be counter productive. On the flip side - I do see why people think that they should. I personally am not bothered by their lack of interviews, but I get why people think that there may be some sort of rift or animosity between them simply because they rarely acknowledge each other. I'm not sure what people want (or are expecting) from a joint interview however... I'm wondering if people think that by having them sit down and talk about Castle it will somehow prove one way or another that they are (or are not) friends. I would love to get the opinion of someone who really wants an interview with both of them.
  8. Hey everyone! I'm Lena, and I'm new here! I introduced myself back in March over in the introduction thread. I've been a fan of Castle since it's beginning, but I've only been involved with the online "fandom" for about a year. I have migrated over from TWOP. I have read every post over on the Castle thread over there, but I've never posted. I enjoy reading and following the discussion and I hope that when it closes at the end of this month, that the great discussion will continue over here. I wanted to share my two cents on the finale. I think my opinions are fairly similar to most of the fandom. I did not enjoy it. I went into it "spoiled," so I knew on some level that I wasn't going to be wow'ed by it, but I wasn't expecting to out right dislike it as much as I did. I, like most people here and at TWOP, think the Beckett prior marriage angle was and IS just down right ridiculous. As soon as I read that that was going to be apart of the story line I was hoping that it was going to be either a dream or a joke like many speculated. I find it completely unbelievable that someone who is as intelligent as Beckett (yes, she's done some stupid things, but she is not an idiot) would believe that her marriage wasn't real just because she got married in Vegas. I mean, even Rogan knew they were married and he was a complete moron. Marlowe said he wanted to bring her down a peg and he certainly did that. Not knowing you're married may work for characters like Phoebe from FRIENDS and Penny from TBBT, but it does not work for Kate Beckett. Plus, as many others have mentioned, how she went 13 plus years as a police detective and then a special agent without finding out that she tied the knot, is beyond ridiculous. I mentioned to someone on tumblr that often with TV shows you can suspend reality in order to enjoy a program. Everything can't be perfect all the time, story lines can deviate and have plot holes, etc, but with this finale, IMO, Marlowe asked for his audience to completely disregard six years of character development and backstory. I have no idea how he and the writing team are going to climb their way out of this hole. There is still a big part of me that is hoping that the marriage story line is a dream, but I fear that it is now just apart of Beckett's history and we have to live with this new facet to her character. Regarding the cliffhanger - I have to say that I'm not that bothered by it. It is pretty cliche to have a main character "die" in a season finale, but to me the prior 38 minutes of shoddy writing was the real problem with this episode. I have to say that I am interested in seeing what they have planned for the beginning of season 7. We know Castle isn't dead. I am hoping that we don't have to have a long drawn out kidnapping arc or having Castle be in "peril" for too long at the start of the season. I guess we'll see in September.
  9. Hey Everyone! I'm crawling out of my "lurker" hole to say hello! I've been follower of the Castle thread over at TWoP for a while now. Since it is closing I thought I would come over here and introduce myself. I'm very excited about what's to come in the next few episodes. I really hope we get a seventh season! I think that discussing all things Castle will be much easier here with the various threads. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and adding to the discussion once people migrate over here!
