For Elizabeth's dad to mention during the wedding toast that he was handing down the renewal of her license plates to Jamie - as if this was now Jamie's problem - was bothersome and weird. He wasn't kidding either.

Beth is the youngest of her siblings. I wonder whether Keith's profession would have been enough for Jasmine. He's essentially doing what Will spoke about.

I felt Sheila got a bad edit during the last fight that she had with Nate before she had moved out. It looked like Sheila went off on Nate for no good reason for him not answering her calls. Then we were subjected to Nate making puppy dog eyes because Sheila had left him. Sheila was also usually shown saying to Nate, "I'm not going to do this [i.e. have a spirited discussion or fight]" on camera...with the final blowup fight being the exception. Also, a lot was made about Sheila not getting her "chocolate". I felt the implication was that Sheila was too uptight to get her "chocolate".

This is an interesting contrast from Jepthe, who objected to getting a lap dance from Shawniece at the wedding reception because he was a teacher.

Iris and her hair seemed to be channeling Whitney Houston's style in the late 80s (especially around the era of her second LP Whitney). All couples seemed to play along with the glasses clinking thing (unlike last season). 😁 This is the friend who kept interfacing with Matt. "Hey, come over here. I want to talk to you." I hope she means well, but man, is she forward.

I still want to know who was that Asian girl shown in a preview with the one who shall not be named...😏

The redhead should dial back the makeup. It ages her severely.

Did I post a tweet from her husband-to-be a few weeks back? He was putting out feelers for which media outlet would like to sit down with him to get his side of the story (now that his obligation to Kinetic has ended). 🤔 I'm sure that Jon and Dr. Jessica have some behind-the-scenes tidbits (other than what relates to them directly) that would be of interest. This is from Shawniece's IG: Edited: Awww, the post got deleted. Basically Shawniece posted a promotional flyer for one of Pastor Cal's upcoming "Marriage Ain't For Punks" seminars. It's going to feature Jepthe, Shawniece, Kristine, and Keith.

I was surprised to see Jepthe go through with the show. I think some of what Shawniece did (like the lapdance at the wedding reception) embarrassed him because he was a teacher. I can understand if some of the parents of his students looked at him sideways because of him being on the show.

I want him to go full rogue! 😎 Really?! He went after her first like that? Interesting. 🤔 They did it after they went public. It was my understanding though that there had been speculation about those two for a while (especially on Reddit), especially since people had spotted them canoodling publicly all over Boston. So much for discretion! I always thought that it was interesting that he said that he had lost his job to come on the show because his employer wasn't cool with him doing it. Did any of the show's participants have that kind of problem? I don't think the names of the companies for whom many of the show's participants were even mentioned on the show. (We did know, for example, that Jepthe taught in the K-12 system up there, and Ryan was a fireman, but those seemed like exceptions.)

I thought she quit?! What I'd love to see would be for him to go off-script and tell the real story about shenanigans behind the scenes...besides in addition to those with his future bride. Edited to add: Maybe he can confirm whether or not the show gives a financial incentive for staying together on Decision Day. 😁

I don't think the engagement was that quick, especially in light of getting married at first sight. 😄People had spotted them canoodling together after the Boston season. It seems they only confirmed the dating rumors once they got really serious. Of the three grooms from that Boston season, Jon turned out to be the most marriage-minded. (We know how Jepthe struggled, and the less said about Ryan, the better.)
