  1. We talked about Nashville on our television podcast! Long time poster on this site (transferred over from Twop back in the day), so I thought you guys would be interested in our snark. Check out our Nashville review here! https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/moo-points/id1078016922?mt=2&i=367460694
  2. Good for Claire! It takes a lot of strength to pull together after losing by that much in the first round.
  3. I think the reason going first is actually a legitimate disadvantage is not because you can weed out the information that has already been asked, but because you can start to familiarize yourself with the question format. My guess is that they are given (for example for vocabulary) all the words and definitions. But the question format of say changing one word in the definition to make it work would be startling if you were first and could throw you off a little.
  4. Did anyone else think the questions were kinda dumb this round? Why have a kid memorize plot elements from works they definitely haven't read. Again, just a memorizing contest. I wish we could see them really use their brains. Also, unrelated but totally team Jaden here. I like his parents and he seems chill and genuinely into learning. He's much less gloat-y than the others too.
  5. Wait really? They get a binder with all the info in it each week? seems more like a memorizing contest in that case... I did think it was too trivia-ish. In a true child "genius" competition i'd much rather see more logic/math/problem solving type questions. Who cares if they can memorize a bunch of pop culture facts?
  6. It unfortunately totally is. I grew up in the Silicon Valley (now 23) and some parents there are exactly this crazy.
  7. Did you guys think it was weird how poorly they did in the math section this year? I remember being mad impressed last season with the mental math stuff, but they seemed not that far above avg this year... or maybe im crazy :)
  8. Melissa talks as though her other kid does not exist. When she was saying "I with I could still see my kid on stage, It's terrible not having her here...." it was just like... UM your other kid is on stage!
  9. I'm totally in. The drama of letting down your team is gonna be so entertaining. Also team training tactics...
  10. Wait so whats up with the dude in the background of Maddie's selfie at 0:02 of the promo?? Is that a cameraman they forgot to edit out??
  11. I wonder when we'll next see Juliette. Miss her already!
  12. I kept thinking Aubrey was killing it acting-wise, but then Hayden comes on the screen and absolutely destroys every single scene she is in. Girl is a phenomenal actress.
  13. Are we sure she actually gets a haircut? bc she looks the same on instagram...
  14. Maddie's a brat, but I'll give her one thing: I kind of agreed with her when she said she didnt see the difference between performing with Juliette and performing for Marcus. From her point of view, her passion is singing on stage. I also dont really get why one was selling herself out and the other was ok? anyone get Rayna's point here?
  15. Juliette may be a stone cold bitch, but a lot of what she said was kind of real... like Rayna really did suck at running the label. As a label head its not your job to tell someone to take more maternity leave and slow their roll. ANNNNDD everything she said to layla was on point.
