He's in Montgomery County? His grandparents in Bowie must of gotten tired of him and he found someone else's couch to surf on. I assume this means he's attending Montgomery College, which does offer a sprinkler fitting apprenticeship. (Prince George's County Community College also offers sprinkler fitting courses and it would be much cheaper for him to live there.) The community colleges in Maryland are the primary provider of GED programming. I assume he is on a path to complete his secondary education certification before actually participating in the apprenticeship. Usually apprenticeships require a test and other certifications to get in, especially union affiliated apprenticeships. I wonder if Steven is actually in the apprenticeship program or on a pre-apprenticeship track to qualify (he hopes).

Leida is obviously not actually in love with Eric, so what exactly is it that is keeping her with him? If she just wants to practice medicine (presumably meaning that she will have to go to medical school in the US), couldn't she get a student visa via her rich daddy and his presumably numerous connections? Then she could meet a more appropriate shlub and marry him.

Teresa has a very valid gripe against Joe and Melissa - being the carer for an elderly parent, especially one who appears to be as difficult as her father and while she is a single parent, is incredibly difficult. Joe and Melissa have yet to present a real reason why they don't seem to be helping her in any way (and it seems like 'helping' in this case could many times be as simple as Joe picking up the phone a few times a week and calling his father). They blame her or her husband for putting these ideas about Joe ignoring his father in the father's head when it seems like the father could draw those conclusions himself. Teresa's problem is that she cannot effectively argue her case. She just says the same thing over and over at increasing volume. Eventually she goes from being sympathetic to the villain because she can't respond to what the other side is saying, she just yells her one argument louder. She needs to bring Gia along with her anytime she has this 'conversation' with Joe and Melissa in order to even attempt to actually make any headway.

I could totally understand her being angry about him lying about where he lived and how much money he has. But she is much more upset that its a small place she might actually have to lift a finger to clean.

I assume his daughter who lives with him didn't help the situation...

I totally understand Colt not wanting to just give Larissa his credit card. But having mommy be the one keeping her on a fiscal leash is not healthy for their relationship.
