This moment highlighted the difference between the Sue and Mel era and now. Mel and/or Sue would have been right there with encouragement and maybe their cursing up a storm strategy to build Michael up instead of letting him flounder on his own. I love Noel and Sandi, but they are definitely less nurturing and cheerleading than Mel and Sue.

Interesting! I feel like they basically threatened to never send me my check again if I didn’t do direct deposit, but the one consistent thing about the government is their inconsistency!

Oh hey, a Pinstripe-free episode! I’m not a fan of the abusive photographer being a woman though. Like the story of Alex-as-Jeff, it hits a sour note for me. Of course women can be just as bad as men, but power structures enable men’s bad behavior much more.

Just when I thought I’d let this show go it brings on Lev Gorn! He deserves better but I’m a fan so I’ll be back for at least one more week.

Lev Gorn just showed up in the mostly terrible The Enemy Within this week which will probably bring me back for one more week at least. He deserves so much better!
