  1. I'm brand new to this discussion board. I searched on Google for a forum to vent because I was so irritated from this most recent episode. I do not know whether or not Dayton deserves to make the team. She may not be in the top 36. But, I certainly do know that if Victoria gained 11 pounds in five weeks of training camp, then she doesn't deserve "more time" anymore than Dayton would deserve "more time." Each pound is 3,500. That means for Victoria to gain 11 pounds in training camp, then she ate an EXCESS of 38,500 calories more than she burned during five weeks. That shows absolutely zero effort. Is she actually related to Kitty Carter somehow because the woman who usually brags about being brutally honest was suddenly treating a candidate with kid gloves.
  2. I'm brand new to this discussion board. After watching Making the Team for years, I "Googled" for information about Dayton's cut because I was so unbelievably annoyed at the events in this past week's episode. I have never once thought to look-up anything online in previous years. I'd just set my DVR, watch the show, and enjoy seeing who makes the team year after year. Yes, there were times when I disagreed with decisions made by Kelli & Judy, but I was never upset. However, this week was different for two main reasons: 1) How do you keep Malena in Training Camp who flat-out admitted that she was never allowed to actually cheer for another NFL squad because she couldn't remember the routines, yet cut Dayton because she's having memory issues? 2) How do you decide that Victoria deserves "more time" to lose weight because she's been "in the program" for years? She does not deserve more time. She's had 18 years to get her weight on track. The fact that she gained 11 pounds during training camp (they'd only been going for a matter of weeks) means she was gaining more than one pound weekly. One pound = 3,500 calories. That means that she was overeating by more than 3,500 calories, probably closer to a 7,000 calorie excess every single week during training camp! Who does that? And why would you want to keep someone with that lack of effort? I'm not saying that Dayton should have made the team. I don't know enough about all of the other candidates. But, I am saying that there is no way in heck that she should have been cut that night when Malena and Victoria were not.
