I still get them on my laptop but they take a long time to load. Much longer than usual.

Snow is melting (yay!) and my huuuge icicle is gone. Thing grew to 54" (!) and was growing stalagmites below it in the lilac bushes as it slowly melted in the sun over the last couple of days.. Wish I'd gotten a pic before it went.

"We're having a heat wave....a tropical heat wave". It's a balmy 23 degrees and no more snow, thank you Jesus. It's been bitter for the last week, had to have our driveway plowed twice. Sun is out and things are starting to melt off the roof and cars. There is a 36"...yes, 1 yd...icicle hanging from the gutter outside the kitchen window (hubby measured it). Still have about 11" of snow in the yard. Put out a bunch of veggie trimmings for the bunnies. Saw one chewing on the lilac bushes this morning. Poor things can't get down to find food on the ground. Going to warm up next week so things will be getting back to normal.....finally. ☺️

Oh contraire mon frere. We still have 8" on the ground and more coming tomorrow. 😒

Ah, yes. Ohio in winter. Expecting 5-6" for sure and maybe 8-12". 😒

peaches, I finally got my lemon curd and I'm making the blueberry/lemon cake tomorrow. Boychild is coming down for a visit. He will love it. Hubby has cataract surgery on Tues and he's taking him. 45 min drive.....oy. I don't drive anymore (a woman's got to know her limitations). Just not comfortable behind the wheel and I used to drive for a living. Did deliveries when I worked auto parts (counter and driver) and drove everything except a semi. Anybody in my neck of the woods and east coasters stay warm and stay home if possible. It's gonna get ugly. And....Chiefs are gonna kick ass!!!

True confession....I have never seen The Sound of Music beginning to end. Tons of clips over the years but not the movie. Ironic...since I sang My Favorite Things in my first talent contest when the movie came out. 🙂
