There were a few times this show zagged when I thought it would zig. I guess you can't do everything in only 10 episodes.

Finished! This show was fun, but it's definitely not winning any awards anytime soon. Some of the acting was ... not great. Thoughts: * Where did the Little F'er cat go? He wasn't seen again :< I don't even like cats! * I wanted to know what they named Mandy's baby, but we never found out * The neat little bow for Marcus' storyline was weird. And no fall out about Brent's mom being a weirdo scammer? * Do we just assume Jenn keeps dating pervo doctor? I really enjoyed the chemistry between Kat and Justin, and would probably watch a second season.

No clue, but under 23 is probable since I don't think she went to college. If I remember her bio she went to NYC after high school then to the magic show in Guam. Lol.

Madeline is so pretty. Judy had some great faces and lines last night. “Meredith you were actually sharp with that one!” Lol Lily looks like she is starving herself. She just looks miserable. Daphne still bugs me. Nothing she says sounds genuine. What year was the new stadium built? When Meredith said she once danced on the Cowboys field in 8th grade did she mean at AT&T?

Shaina's new hair color is amazing! Big improvement! Loved Kat naming her wigs and directing the make-over. Kelli and Marshall looked a little stunned during the whole conversation. Even though Kat will always be slow to get the choreography she does blend very well in the group dances and adds some needed diversity to the team. Rachel W could be a one woman show group Wonder if Jalyn did turns and leaps instead of flips if the judges would have noticed her during SG Lily is looking haggard - like she's not eating enough Poor Alexandra - maybe it's time to try something else?

I think same with Lisa. Yes, she’s a powerhouse but she’s more NBA than NFL. I really don’t see her as DCC and I’m surprised she doesn’t get more critiques on camera about her style, but then I saw her speaking Spanish on Instagram and it made more sense.

Lisa is too harsh for me. Not stompy exactly, just *too* sharp. Madeline has potential for sure - she’s super pretty and a good dancer I liked Bret and Lauren except for memory mistakes. When Kelly called Lauren softer I couldn’t tell if she meant her dancing or her muscle tone.

I wanted to see Ashley in the uniform - she was oddly bottom heavy. I'm not saying that's why she was cut, but it would be another nail in her coffin. I went back to see her kicks in semis and finals and they didn't say anything in finals (at least on the show), but in the semis Kelly noticed her kicks were tight.

I rewatched to see the jiggling during the kickline and I agree it's probably Lauren. I also noticed that during the uniform fitting I saw a lot of rookies either being interviewed or dancing in their new uniform, but not Lauren and not Bret. Travis Wall giggling about being a DCC was the cutest thing ever!

Kat is borderline insane. What is the point of her talking to the mom/daughter at the nail salon and then in the TH she said it didn’t work out? What did Kelly say about her nails? She’s so pretty though - if she pulls off the choreography I vote she can stay! bye Ashley and Gina Marie! Gina Marie’s sweaty hair was making me laugh. Lauren is adorable! Looks like Kelly and Judy disagree on her. Interesting

Man, this episode was boring! Give me kicks, give me Judy saying things like train wreck and struggle bus. Don't give me watching people take a quiz on a laptop! Lisa was impressive! I wonder if she'll look too short in the uniform though Kat is so bizarre. Everything she says is overly exaggerated to the point that I would consider her an "ambassador risk". Her dance technique is non-existent. She is beautiful and has the look, but that's it. If you watch some of the earlier seasons of the show Kat was maybe at their level, but the squad now? No way! Meredith - Her voice kills me! I wonder if her veneers/caps give her a lispy sound? I don't know, but the way she said "indecisive" really bugged me. Even though she's gorgeous she really has a boxy figure. Gina Marie was more poised in the office than I expected her to be. Her look is very young and I'm not sure she has the look. The routine they taught at the first night did look tough!

Gabby’s legs were bent in the kickline and and she had a roll over her shorts. That’s never ok for a veteran. If her shorts were a size bigger maybe she could have skated through. Even though I read the spoiler threads I swear I thought Malena and Taylor T were going to get through. Malena didn’t deserve it, but I wish they had showed us more of Taylor. Did she get asked about Me Too? I would have liked to see her answer. I hope Katy tones up and comes back - she was fiesty!

I thought Yuko said she was getting married? I took that to mean she was just visiting Japan in July and would return to her American boyfriend and ... cat. But maybe her fiancé is in Japan? I don’t know.

I was so excited about this that I waited until Sunday afternoon to watch. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I finally watched and I kind of loved it. Enough to record next Fridays episode. Things I loved: * Jason and Jennie's one night stand - I always loved Kelly and Brandon together * The red dress! No way that was the original Tori was wearing. Teenage Tori/Donna was so tiny! * Gabrielle being a grandma and the baby being named Gabrielle * All the references to Aaron * The nods to Luke Things I didn't: * The extraneous spouses - they don't seem necessary to the script except for maybe Tori's. Thank you to whomever for pointing out that was the Mother May I Sleep with Danger? guy. * The whole lesbian storyline - why? * The general concept was not what I was expecting - the opening in the Peach Pit was, so I was surprised when it switched. I had kind of been ignoring news about this because let's face it, the cast looks ancient (except for Jennie!) and that makes me feel old.

I rewatched (what?!) and they definitely showed Jackie in the group of finalists when Malena ran up. Malena hugged someone and you could see Jackie behind her.
