I wish they had addressed Yolanda's absence. We have speculated here that she started backing away when the controversies about Kelly began emerging, and I suspect she's not back this season because she doesn't want to be associated with the show. I just wish the show had mentioned her, even if they had to make up a reason for her absence.

Astros' All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa to be out 6 to 8 weeks following surgery on a torn thumb ligament. Bad news for a Houston team that has been one of the best we've ever had.

Yes, I was referring to the final rankings. Thanks for the info.

Will the decision about the player's rankings be made after the Open? I think that it's going to come down to Fed/Rafa for the number one spot, so I'm wondering if the results of the Open play will make the difference.

I missed this - what was Cilic's injury?

Although he has won the first two tiebreakers, Roger sure has his hands full with Berdych. I don't think anyone expected this match to be so close.

I think this became a tradition at Wimbledon because there used to be royalty in attendance and the players were expected to curtsy to the royal box as they left. That tradition seems to have gone by the wayside.

So now Murray's out, along with Rafa. And I read that Djokovic may be bothered by his right shoulder. Things are looking better and better for my guy Fed.

We've been speculating in this thread about whether Jill will be sensible and go to the hospital to give birth. In one of her talking heads last night, she commented on how easy this latest birth was for Jessa and she hopes the Lord will give her an easy birth this time. I'm pretty sure she's planning to try for a home birth again, using Jessa's good experience as a justification. That scares me, but she seems oblivious to the dangers.

I think Jill misrepresented herself too. I think Derick believed she truly wanted to work as a midwife, at least part time. However, people change throughout the course of their lives, especially when still young. You can't expect your spouse to stay the "same" person you married if you marry so early, IMO.
Jill was also supposed to have a "heart" for missions when Derrick first met her. Now that's she's learned that the reality of mission work is very different from her romanticized idea, her heart seems to have turned cold. Since mission work appears to be the only thing Derrick has any interest in, I'm sure this change is very disheartening to him. That plus the fact that Jill was so poorly educated that they couldn't even qualify for mission support from their Church - Derrick has had a rude awakening.

The last of the Astros' 4 starting pitchers was placed on the 10-day disabled list today. Lance McCullers joins Keuchel, McHugh, and Musgrove on the list of pitchers not available to work. Musgrove may try to start tonight against the Rangers, but I'm not holding my breath.
I guess it was foolish for Houston fans to get excited and think that this might finally be our year.

Was the guy's name actually David Tennant?
I'm glad the show is back but I admit to be surprised considering the liability issues that have arose from this show.
His name is David Temple. A Special Prosecutor has been appointed to determine if he should be retried.

They are in Switzerland for their honeymoon.
So Joy-Anna goes to Switzerland, Jinger to Australia, and Jessa to Europe. Jill went to North Carolina, right? Hmm. Wonder why she got short-changed in the honeymoon lottery?

My DISH schedule says that tonight's 2-hour episode is the Season 3 finale. This has been a really short season. I'm going to miss it.

I am very curious about Ashley's birth plans. Will she try to deliver with no professional help in their cabin, or will she fly to Fairbanks to deliver in a hospital? The Seldens strike me as very independent people, so I won't be surprised if they decide to do the birth by themselves.

Looking at both of Jessa's chunky kids, it occurs to me that she has been very successful at breastfeeding.

I liked Parker a lot more when he was young and not so cocky. He needs Grandpa Schnabel to rein in his ego. Too bad he's gone.

Umm...no. There are at least 2 of us. I have adored Boston Rob since All-Stars.

I agree that this was the strongest episode yet, but I still feel like I should like the series more than I do. Several times last night I found myself losing interest.
And after this last episode, I definitely feel that Sarandon's Davis is the superior performance.

I was rooting for Brooke from the beginning, so I should have been happy with the outcome. However, I found myself during the finale hoping that Shirley would win, just to disprove the conspiracy theorists. I'm not convinced that the fix was in for Brooke, but her win would have been more satisfying without that spectre hanging over her victory.

I watched for a little bit, just enough to remind me how much I miss Keisha.

This is such sad news. He made a real impact on my husband and me. My heart goes out to his daughter and former wife.
