My mom and I were both shocked to find out when Alex Cora was behind this.

Aw man, I knew he was getting up there. No one else in the Tolkien family seems ready to step in as the gatekeeper of Middle-Earth.
Maybe stretching the definition of celebrity, but Betty Pat Gatliff, forensic sculptor dies at 89.
Betty definitely counts as a celebrity.

My first thought too. Dammit. He had a successful career as an acting coach after he left Highlander. Oh my. So sad.
I had to look him up myself because I honestly never heard of him before.
Didn't know he had a career as an acting coach, and thought he had just retired from acting.

Does anyone know who Abby's replacement will be?
-
UP showed a movie yesterday called Keeping Up With The Randalls that had Roma Downey in it.
Too bad I won't be able to watch it until the 25, because the next airing will be on at 1 in the morning.

I knew that Abby wouldn't last long.

Lord Tim Hudson, English disc jockey and voice actor
Lord' Tim Hudson, Sir Ian Botham's flamboyant ex-manager from the 1980s, has died at the age of 79. A huge cricket fan, DJ and voiceover artist, Hudson was close to the Beatles and in 2004 published his memoirs, From The Beatles to Botham.
He and Botham eventually fell out over failed plans to turn the England cricketer into a Hollywood actor in the mid-80s. It is understood that Hudson's US-based daughter, River, tried to contact Botham after her father's passing but has so far been unable to do so.
Hudson, who hosted celebrity matches at the cricket ground at his former Cheshire home, Birtles Old Hall, passed away last month
