Today's 8 AM episode of the show had the CBS StereoSound intact.
I really do wonder if these are the original master tapes that Start TV is using.

Model and disability rights activist Mama Cax has died. She was only 30.
That’s very sad.
Mama Cax was admitted to hospital in London in December 2019, where she passed away on 16 December; her family did not announce her death until December 20. She was suffering from severe abdominal pains and blood clots in the lung.

I recognized Wayne's voice so I knew he was Fox, but Daughtry surprised me. I wish they would replay some of the previous videos/songs after the reveals so I could listen to Rottweiler knowing it was Chris. Or at least let them sing a whole song after each reveal instead of filling the time with judge blah blah blah stuff. Now that I know who each of the characters are, I'd like to go back and rewatch each episode.
But I won't.
I've never heard of the Flamingo woman.

In fairness, given the real life drama surrounding it, it was going to be difficult for it to compete with that no matter what. I could see a rerun of it doing MUCH better, without any distractions to conflict with it.
Or maybe if it was on a different day.

From CBS Sports: Legendary Iowa Football Coach, Hall of Famer, Hayden Fry Dies at Age 90 Following Cancer Battle
It’s not mentioned in this obit, but others mention that he was apparently the inspiration for Hayden Fox, Craig T. Nelson’s character in the long-running ABC comedy Coach.
May he rest in peace.

I knew that Wayne would win! Congratulations to Chris Daughtry for coming in 2nd place though.

Herman Boone, the football coach played by Denzel Washington in Remember the Titans, died at home today of cancer at age 84. (Bad year for the famous T.C. Williams team; coach Bill Yoast and player Julius Campbell, also depicted in the film, both died at the beginning of the year.)
That’s sad.

I wonder why the live discussion thread for the show was never opened.

I find it very odd that there was supposed to be a group performance, but there wasn’t. Even the post I saw on Reddit had a picture of the performance.
The YouTube preview of the episode had one as well.

Doesn't look like it.
Weird, because I saw a post on Reddit and it mentioned something about one.

Is there not going to be a group performance?

I've been noticing lately that Laff is showing the episodes out of order now, and that they didn’t show 'Twas The Blight Before Christmas today.
