I’m still in shock. I can’t imagine what all the families are going through right now. So tragic.

CBS’s website hasn’t listed the shows for this week, but my channel guide has Monday through Wednesday’s guest list:

Monday - Highlights from the Grammy Awards red carpet; singer Dionne Warwick.

    Tuesday - Actress Chrissy Metz.

Wednesday - Billy Ray Cyrus talks and performs.

Thursday’s guest is still unlisted, but Tyra Banks will be on Friday’s show.

It could be because of the impeachment.

It's hard to know what would have been  less thankless for the now-deceased Mr. Burns: having to follow Don Knotts's act while playing a deputy no one in town liked on TAGS or having Miss Carlin opt to carry on her father's tradition of tagging him with  a certain 12-letter, four-letter word  instead of attempting to muster some class when supposedly paying tribute to the late Mr. Carlin's onetime comedic partner. I never even met Mr. Burns but I think he deserved a better sendoff than that so, RIP Mr. Burns.

Here is a tweet from Kelly Carlin.

^^^Indeed. Although I think her Irish accent kept slipping here and there on some words. 😉

Love that movie, too. The fam annoyed me and I wish the boyfriend stuck up for the MC more but I loved how she turned things around and played to her strengths to be her own person no matter what they said. Another one I need to rewatch!

    I did notice that, yes.

I was going to post that as well, but you beat me to it.

Beat me to it. I went to a taping of Just a Minute once, they recorded three episodes in one afternoon, and it was wonderful fun to watch.

    Same.

    ESPN is re-airing Kobe's last game tonight at, I believe, 9/8 c.

NBA TV is showing an interview with Kobe later on this morning, and Showtime is airing one of his final interviews this evening.

Bob Shane, the last of the founding members of the transformative folk group The Kingston Trio died yesterday...at the age of 83...An official national obit is coming out tomorrow but tributes are already starting. This is a huge loss for those of us that love 60's folk music...

He died at 85, not at 83.

Neither did the NBC Nightly News (it was a quick blurb but it was there).

In another article (Buzzfeed - here) it says the pilot was instrument rated and able to fly in the fog and clouds. I wonder if conditions deteriorated rapidly once they got to Calabassas.

How terrifying those final moments must have been for all on board.

TuneIn Radio has tributes to Kobe that are happening right now.

A few minutes ago I got a notification on my iPhone saying tomorrow night’s Lakers/Clippers (both LA teams) game was postponed by the NBA due to Kobe’s (& the others involved, of course, though they were again the forgotten in this tragedy) death yesterday & its impact on the Lakers organization.

    Here is the statement.
