So he should stay unemployed for the rest of his life? I think he and accused men like him should be able to get on with their lives and get jobs. No one says anything when someone gets out of prison and gets a job.
I’m not sure if anyone wants to watch these guys even if people in the business are sympathetic. Perhaps if they waited 10 years or so..... I suppose they could work behind the scenes.

I guess I don't hate brides in general, it's an exciting time for them.
What I hate are the wannabe starlets who apply to these shows at which time the bride and her entourage amp up the crappy acting for their fifteen minutes of fame. I cannot believe every bride that comes in to a shop acts so despicably. There have to be some down-to-earth, reasonable women out there.
Any bridal consultants out there to verify my suspicion that it's the TV thing that makes these people so totally unlikable?
I hope it’s the TV thing, because I feel like slapping most of them!

I’m not happy with Meghan being re-signed, either. I’m hoping Abby will be so popular, Meghan will be pushed out. I wouldn’t expect it right away due to respect for her father.

(I would think in their minds, if you're commenting it means you're watching and they don't care if your consumerism is based on the fact that you love to watch or you hate watch). Unfortunately, we live in a time where behaving badly and causing chaos is what earns you 15 minutes of fame/money and allows you to extend those minutes.
I have commented many times and not watched. LOL I may watch a 30-second clip on FB, but not the whole show.
So true about any publicity being "good" publicity.

hmmm - I honestly don't remember that nor did I see how she treated Regis. I love Kelly and she does no wrong with me, I feel the same way about Andy Cohen. I love my rose colored glasses. :)
I think Michael can handle himself, same with Regis. I don’t remember any nastiness, until the blindside. I like Kelly, also, but will have to agree to disagree with you on Andy Cohen - a real channel changer for me!

Aaagggh, Wendy Williams? Whose bright idea? I’ll give the new person a chance, only because I’ve never seen her, & Jed was ok with me. The producers are obviously only interested in chaos.

Friends and co-workers express condolences in ways other than twitter.
Just because something wasn't tweeted, doesn't mean it wasn't said in some other way.
But you have to be seen expressing condolences! (sarcasm) People call, send cards or flowers. I don’t get why people express condolences on these forums either. Relatives of bereaved celebrities are not reading the forums.
I totally agree with your point.

So sick of brides! I want to look like a princess (she doesn’t); I want to be sexy; I want bling. The brides and their stupid entourage, their out of control budgets, Randy, Lori. Hate them all! ????

It was lowered the day she died (April 17) through the day of her interment (April 21).
So it’s done for former First Ladies, but not for war hero senators?

The tradition is if a member of Congress - representative or senator - dies in office, the flag is at half mast until the interment, which is on Saturday I believe.
How did the lowering of the flag work for Barbara Bush?

I see that Jim Halpert is starring as Jack Ryan. No.

Over the weekend I saw a commerical for GMA with Strahan and some blonde - I was like "is he going back to Kelly's show", then I looked and it was Sarah jumping all over him like a fool, and she really looked like Ripa. I see you ABC.....
I always liked Sara on The View. I loathe Strahan, so probably won't watch. Just another sh*tty daytime show, I would imagine.

I am watching a lot of the old episodes on OnDemand and have been meaning to ask this. Do most weddings have a full-on theme. I have been to my fair share of weddings, and , other than a color scheme, I have not been to many with a full on theme. Just curious because over 90% of the weddings showcased have a theme.
I've never been to a wedding with a theme. Some have a color scheme.

But that is actually fine--I just wish TLC would toss the idea of the competitors being prior acquaintances altogether (along with the 2 hour runtime).
I still do not understand the participants' fascination with mashed potatoes in nearly every episode of this show. Potatoes are cheap, easy to make, and ubiquitous. Are these women otherwise so extremely carb deprived, that the simple sight of potatoes makes them have tunnel vision? Are they reincarnated victims of the Irish potato famine? Do they live somewhere that potatoes fall under some kind of strict prohibition laws? I mean, yeah, people are gonna serve them because they're cheap and easy and apparently please everyone, but I'm kinda wondering if it is just the editors' little inside joke that they include someone in every episode gushing about the damn potatoes.
Agree! I prefer strangers, and one hour was quite enough.
Mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese? They’re ok, but going coo coo over them is mystifying. I’ve never been at a wedding with mac & cheese bars or mashed potato bars, & I don’t feel I’ve missed much.

Yes, that's Ellen's doing. Hubby filmed it and just had to share, though. I don't know why I'm still commenting on that couple, whom I can't stand.

Is Kristen Bell the person who just adores sloths, to the point that news that one is outside reduce her to a joyous tearful puddle, which her husband filmed, and which Ellen DeGeneres delighted in showing over and over and over? Because that got old fast.
I don't know, but probably. D & K think they're the cutest things going. Can't watch either of them.

Dax Shepherd (who he?). He and his spouse turn up on the entertainment shows, for some reason. My opinion, but I don't appear to be alone. If you like him, feel free.

^^ OK, OK - last word on this subject.
"D-list" (or sometimes Z-list) is for a person whose celebrity is so obscure that they are generally only known for appearances as so-called celebrities on panel game shows and reality television. In the late 20th century, D-listers were largely ignored by the entertainment news industry"

Some are still D-list in my mind no matter what they have accomplished! D-list = pain in the a$$, overrated, just don’t get them. Cher, Madonna, Jimmy Fallon, Leonard Cohen, the women of The Talk .......

Maybe I shouldn't judge because I have only watched this show one time. But. Is it me or is this entire show tacky? The staging in particular and the lady flipper maybe just a little.
Can't judge either, but I will. There are just too many flipping-type shows, and every couple is trying to be more noticeable than the others. I don't watch for their personalities, I watch for the designs.

Just had a glance at "Flipping Vegas" - never seen it before. What an unappealing couple. He swears and she dreams up expensive tile patterns.

Matt Lauer: Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow
in Today
Sure, he can pursue employment. I never liked him so very seldom watched him. Just seemed too smug & self righteous.
