I agree! Reddit Brett made me like MAFS Brett! I’m finding myself rooting for him all the time and finding him really funny. I’d be, of course, annoyed if I were in Olivia’s place, but I’m not. So I can afford to find him charming and funny

Did you notice in the previews of this week’s episode how they had a scene where Brett was socializing with Olivia’s friends and she was feeling ignored? She walked out and said something like he doesn’t even care if I’m there? We didn’t see that scene in the actual episode and they made it look like he was fully checked out. It’s possible, or likely, they did some editing there! Also, I cringe thinking this was literally a week before all the COVID hell rose loose

Henry absolutely despises Christina and it shows. She is trying so hard to pretend she likes him and make good of a bad situation. Kudos to her. I'm seriously starting to have a crush on Woody! The guy is so charming! He is one smooth talker.. I continue to find Karen boring. Miles is a boyishly cute version of Tyler Perry and I can’t unsee that Amelia has every reason to expect Bennett to do the house chores if she will be bringing home the dough. Olivia looks so utterly miserable in some scenes. I loved their climbing activity! I still like Brett and think he is witty and funny although not witty and funny enough to where I would personally ever date him, let alone marry him. But he is got TV!

He is nowhere close! I’ve been following him on Reddit and he pretty much won me over with his wittiness. The way he responds to the haters is just hilarious and he comes across pretty emotionally intelligent. I’m not saying that I actually like him as in i would date him, that I would not do. But he is funny!

Imagine just for a moment if Henry actually made a move on Christina. How much she’d be criticizing it! How would it even work?

When I watch the show knowing that Covid lockdown is approaching I can’t help but adore their pure childish innocence! Olivia with her “I want to go to football games and travel”...no honey, you don’t. You’ll be working your tail off and there will be no games and travel. And Bennett with his “but I have a theater company” yeah good luck with that Someone said here they wish there was a Covid countdown at the bottom of the screen. Such a great idea!

Oh, sorry I missed that! I have been reading so many comments from people who truly think that being a flight attendant is glamorous that I’ve stopped to notice the under tones. When I was a kid I told my mom that I want to be a flight attendant when I grow up to see the world! Wouldn’t you rather be the first class passenger? And that was the end of my childhood dream to be a flight attendant. Not in any way saying their job is not important. They are heroes in many situations. Just that it’s highly uncomfortable and painful

I understand where Olivia is coming from but she isn’t handling it well. My husband and i started together in college at the same min wage jobs. We always shared expenses and kept separate finances. Over time my income grew faster than his. We both like “nice things.” For a while we kept splitting the cost of those nice things in half until we reached a point where I was being held back from progressing the nice things. I chose to progressively foot larger and larger part of the bill because for me it was the experience and being together that mattered. We work equally hard (he actually works even harder than me) but I now make about 4 times more. Of course I pay for all nice things and he shares half of the basic things. And it works great! Since Olivia and Brett don’t have the foundation, they need to start small to where he can pay his half. If she wants more nice things she can get them for herself but she should not pressure him to forego his own financial goals (house, retirement, savings). Over time they can increase slowly with her paying a larger and larger portion if she feels comfortable. Sounds like he is working on certifications and he is financially responsible. Longer term they can align finances and goals. But whining and bitching about it now is no resolution at all. She is just destroying her chances of having this relationship. They just have very different values and goals at this time and neither should be forced to give up on theirs. And with Covid, she won’t be traveling for quite a while, and she won’t be eating out. So..there...problem solved

Most certainly not. The job is not at all fabulous..it’s grueling and highly uncomfortable. And the occasional free trips are still massively exhausting.

The hair thing was hugely exaggerated. Woody was just using it as an example to say he doesn’t like surprises and it just got taken to a whole other level. Next thing you know they are arguing over a totally hypothetical situation that hasn’t happened and isn’t likely to happen. Cross that bridge when you get there! Totally producer driven Bennett is adorable but omg that shirt with the holes on it! He’s got the perfect woman matched with him. I want to see her Prom Queen photos! I also think that Brett’s house is trashy and messy. I’d have absolutely faked it a lot more pretending to be polite but I thinks Olivia’s response was again producer driven and edited. Now, Olivia’s house was no piece of cake either. So, both of you, try to be civil and polite, both your houses are pretty basic. Karen is joking around and being sarcastic but in a way that I personally find exhausting.

As a Floridian I was mortified too by her outfit! We don’t wear such stuff even in the coldest of winters! Unless you are up north AND it’s winter

Can I just say that I also enjoy nice things and fancy vacations BUT Trader Joe’s have amazing wines under $15! And I love them! I’ve liked a $10 bottle from there as much as, or even more than, a $200 one at a restaurant.

I didn’t for a moment doubt she’d be awesome. The artsy kind of people that these two are...they are bound to perform well. But she still exceeded my expectations

“It’s a massive turn on that you’re loaded!” Omg I’m dying! I will say that I loved Brett’s jokes and sense of humor in this episode so far (only watched through his convo with Olivia on how he fits into her life ..the rest DVR for tomorrow). I see him in a different light here (still an asshole but a funny one) and I do see her as more rigid. Henry is also showing his fun side! Quite the character and becoming very likable. Christina is getting on the bad side of the producers. Karen rocking an awesome bod! Still super low energy for me and boring. Amani is truly a queen! I loved how she stabbed Brett with “don’t wink at me, it’s not cute!” She is the kind of woman that every man should aspire to have by his side. Beautiful, strong, honest and loyal Bennett and Amelia are super adorable and have the deepest most intelligent conversations on getting to know each other. Her guitar song was lovely!
