OMG. His shirt alone gives me another reason to hate him.

and guys who wear shirts like this don't tend to listen to the government about things like COVID rules, much less make up their own rules that are twice as strict.

If Kody had ANYTHING important to do that would actually keep him SO BUSY don’t you think he would allow it all to be filmed? He must not work at all.

He said in this episode that during COVID that he wasn't working.  So he must have been busy busy busy avoiding Robyn & the kids - hiding in the closet or garage or perhaps driving nowhere in his car.  I recall one of Kootie's videos-while-driving last season where it sounded like he was just out for a 2-hr drive to nowhere.

I'm also confused as to why Hilary bought a home in NC, when the show has resumed filming in Canada. ???

COVID shutdowns and mask mandates have lasted a lot longer in Canada and many offices are only now reopening. It was probably simpler to film in the US.

  4. To analyze Robyn's comment that he doesn't spend more time with her, someone should hack his phone and track his whereabouts. He takes it everywhere, especially to the other wives' homes. Virtually every scene of him spending time with Christine's kids, he is staring at his phone. Physically present, but not mentally there.

What we say last night was pure BS spouted by Kody and Robyn. How do they look in the mirror and know that they are liars and that everyone with 1/2 a brain can see through them.

I saw through them in season one. The family was gathered in one of the kitchens and Robyn and Kootie were focused on each other with smiles and sparkly eyes like the other wives weren't there.  Despite their claims that PDAs in front of other wives are against their religion. Then when Christine was in labour with Truely and Kootie was off canoodling with Robyn. I'd love it if TLC compiled all such scenes from over the years and force Robyn & Kootie to sit there and watch it in front of us to see that Christine and the non-Robyn kids are speaking the truth.

I noticed that he said, "to be honest with you" quite a lot. That phrase is always such a red flag to me. It suggests that the speaker isn't always honest (and knows it) but they'd like you to know that in this particular moment, they are being honest.

But usually say it right before lying and they want you to think they are not lying this time.

  6. What is bizarre to me is that people are so focused on the sex of the fetus and having pink vs blue parties in this day and age.  Maddie could be mis-gendering the fetus, which has not yet revealed its gender preference.  You'd think in this fambly Maddie would have learned the difference between sex and gender by now. I've never wanted to stereotype babies and have chosen colours other than pink/blue for all baby gifts since I was 7 (nearly 61 years ago), beginning with my baby brother, the only boy, with 3 sisters.

I will never in a thousand years believe that Kody was actually this worried about COVID. It makes zero sense with the way he seems to look at the world and what the government can and can’t tell you about how to live your life.

Mr. Rules apparently didn't know how long to avoid Janelle after she caught COVID - 10 days? 14 days? 20 days?  I'd never heard any authority say more than 14 days. He'd make up a larger number and make it his rule.

She HAS to have had help/support with counseling in order to handle herself so well I'm guessing. Good for her.

I thought so too.    Keeping calm and talking about what she needed and not getting defensive and not making up lame excuses kept her in control and contrasted well with Kootie looking & behaving like a clueless idiot who thought her displeasure was just a phase. - a 12-year phase since Robyn arrived? 🤦‍♀️

Robyn is way too "pretty" to do any of those things

There was that one time when one of other wives was coming over to discuss something and Robyn was on her patio in a plaid shirt pretending to rake or sweep up the leaves. Totally staged and socially distanced to make it clear that she was following "Kody's" special protocols and "working". It reminded me of Monty Python sketches where middle-aged people would show their family photos - "here's X standing in the front yard, here's X standing in the side yard and here's X standing in the back yard" (accomplishing nothing and looking dumb).

  10. Being Canadian, I hadn't heard of the Proud Boys, but googled them the first time I heard them mentioned in the news - back in 2017 during the deadly gathering in Charlottesville VA!  Was Alyssa living under a rock 5 years ago????

So, they can be pushed out? Why can't someone on the outside pull them out to get in? Is there some kind of mechanism that prevents someone pulling on them to get them off, but pushing works?

I had ones in the basement windows with actual locks & keys. The basement was unfinished, so I put the key on a long enough cord to reach the lock and hid it above the rafter so that it couldn't be lost by fumbling to get out in a fire. Luckily never needed it, and I did open & close it periodically to make sure it would swing freely and wasn't getting rusted or stiff in the hinge.

  12. I've cut my hair (6-18"!) when changing my life, but you actually need to change your life. Cutting your hair doesn't make it happen.  Shaving her head might make it grow in healthier; the filter isn't hiding how damaged it is.

Apparently nobody ever told Meri that you put fire emojis on other people's photos, not your own

  13. I had chicken pox, measles, mumps. Chicken pox was the itchiest but measles was the worst risk-wise.  Luckily my mother was a pediatric nurse and was taking my temperature day and night. It shot up to 105F in the middle of the night & she yanked me out of bed & held me down in a tub full of cold water with my father & older sister adding ice cubes as I screamed bloody murder. My temperature came down & I was fine. My mother had seen other kids that suffered brain damage due to high fever, so I was lucky.  By the time my baby brother came along when I was 7, there was a measles vaccine that he got.

  14. Janelle grew up in monogamy and had a husband (Meri's brother) before Kootie, so it is possible that she found monogamy too much work for one woman and that is what attracted her to polygamy.  She chose 1/2 a marriage, and seemed fine with 1/3 a marriage and  1/4th a marriage with Christine helping to raise her kids and plenty of time to herself.

I call bullshit on her excuse that poor widdle Sol and Ari can't be without him for a few days.  If that is so, she's fed into those kids plenty of her own neuroses and abandonment issues.  Ugh!

I suspect she has been using this excuse since they were born, further alienating Kootie from his other wives and kids. Sol turns 11 in October.  Kootie had been somewhat involved with his boys' wrestling, but by the time he announced that Robin was having a baby, one of them (Hunter?) looked disgusted and asked Why - don't we already have enough kids? (exactly what I was thinking; he was already spread too thin)

    1 hour ago, GeeGolly said:

And... Sol and Ari certainly can be without Kody - it just would be harder for Robyn. The kids might get sad and/or whiny.

If the kids got sad and/or whiny, Robyn was free to lock herself in her bedroom or leave the house for the nanny to take over! Nanny's husband could wear a Ramen Noodle wig and act like a doofus and the kids probably wouldn't notice that Kootie was visiting his other children. Other kids manage to deal with fathers away in the military or on jobs out of town all the time.

  16. They aren't even Meri's insights or photos, she borrows them from other peoples' positive outlook quote sites. What is bizarre is that they seem to be aimed at her "haters" on SM, yet many describe behaviours that she needs to work on.
