  1. I actually think that the Starklings will be mistrustful and wary of Dany in the beginning considering that they don't know her yet and considering their family history. But once they get to know her I think that they will love her. I would think that Dany being able to topple Cersei from power will be a big plus to both Arya and Sansa. Plus they will find out the truth about Lyanna and Rhaegar and that Dany is actually family to them. I would be worried if Arya and Sansa don't like Dany after they get to know her. As I recall, Arya loves dragons and she likes Visenya and Nymeria and I think that Dany has similarities to both of these queens. I think that Arya, once she gets to know Dany, will actually hero worship Dany.
  2. My prediction is that Bran will be the ruler of the North and Sansa will be Lady of Casterly Rock (the shippy vibes on the show between Sansa and Tyrion). I actually think it will be poetic because Tywin wanted to disinherit Tyrion and use Sansa for her claim
  3. That's interesting. I wonder if they will have Edric Dayne. I doubt he will ever appear on the show but I liked him in the books. Someone has to rule Dorne. I just want one sentence that says who rules Dorne and will be pleasantly surprised if it was Edric.
  4. I think there will be a Sansan romance (mostly because of what is going on in the books) but I don't think its endgame. Sansa transferred her "knight in shining armor" from Joffrey to the Hound. I think she romanticizes him (I also think that Sandor romanticizes Sansa too) and is probably thinking her life is still like a song. I don't think Sansa sees the real Sandor (or that Sandor sees the real Sansa). I think that when they reunite they will both break out of their illusions of the other person. I don't see a real friendship or partnership in their interactions (even though I think they both have an attraction for the other). I actually see Sandor kind of like Sansa's Daario. Somebody she needed at the time, has some feelings for but won't sustain a long term relationship. Also a person can have more than one love in their life even if its not a long-term relationship. Jon had Ygritte, Dany had Drogo, Jaime had Cersei and Tyrion had Tysha.
  5. Actually if Gendry ends up on the throne (a big if in my opinion) I think the WTF moment will be that Gendry inherits the throne through his mother and not through Robert. I have an outlandish theory that Gendry is a Blackfyre. I can't figure out why Varys would save Gendry over Barra in the books. Or why he paid Yoren a bag of gold to take Gendry when he didn't have to (the Night Watch is hurting for recruits and would take just about anyone). And he wasn't useful to his schemes anymore especially since he knew about Edric who would be more useful to him since Edric is an acknowledged bastard who was raised with a lord's education, noble on both sides and looks like Robert. And we know very little about Gendry's mother. Also how will Varys betray Dany on the show. She's working together with Jon to save the realm and most likely is pregnant by him. I doubt he will betray Dany for Cersei. But he can betray Dany if it involves family. I think it will be interesting if Varys actually cares about someone on a personal level. The War of the Roses ended when Henry Tudor ascended the throne. His claim to the throne came from his mother Margaret Beaufort not through his father Edmund Tudor. The Beauforts are a bastard line of the royal family (descendants of John of Gaunt and Katherine Swynford who were legitimized after their four children were adults). As I recall all of Aegon's V bastard children were legitimized on his deathbed. I know this theory is tinfoilery. I know I can be very wrong. It's a guess on my part. If true it would be a big twist.
  6. I see Dany sort of following in Stannis's footsteps in that they both originally were fighting for the Iron Throne, then went North, saw the real threat and are now focusing on fighting the real threat. Also, I don't trust Mel when she brought "fire and ice" together. I'm afraid that Dany might trust her.
  7. I just had a thought. What if Bran wargs Dany and because of that Dany gives the order to burn King's Landing. And what if Dany burns herself as a sacrifice for the Long Night like Stannis did Shireen. I don't know why, but I have a feeling that the previous two WTF moments pertain to Dany. Of course I could also be wrong. I thought it was weird that Bran can warg a dragon. But he can warg a human being. He did it before with Hodor. And Dany might sacrifice herself for the greater good. And I think she might do that while pregnant. I know that its morbid, but I just think that it can be possible.
  8. I think that Sam and Gendry working together will figure out how Valyrian Steel is being made. I think that is what is written in the book. Also I like the idea of Jon's best friend and Arya's best friend working together.
  9. As for episode titles I like "A Time For wolves" for the first episode and "A Dream For Spring" for the last episode. I also like "Ice and Fire" for whatever episode Jon and Dany get married in. I also would like "Winter fell" for the battle up North and "King's Landing" for the battle down south.
  10. You're right about Dany. What I would now like to see is Jon wielding Blackfyre, Arya wielding Dark Sister (Visenya wielded it and Arya knows how to use a sword) and Jorah wielding Long claw. Seeing Jon and Arya fighting side by side with Valyrian swords will be great. Either Tormund and the Hound will be great in wielding Heartsbane. Both are great warriors.
  11. Sansa is not a warrior (and she doesn't need to be) but she should have some self defense skills to protect herself. As an aside I hope to see more Valyrian Steel swords. We have the golden company on the show. Hopefully they have Blackfyre and Dark Sister. It will be awesome that the last two targs wield targ swords.
  12. Weird thing for me is that I don't think Jon and Dany are learning to rule. They are currently ruling and not learning from their experiences. They keep making the same mistakes, they don't listen to advice that is useful to them, they are not listening to what their opponents are saying, they don't communicate effectively, they are both bad at diplomacy and they dont really know much about Westeros and their people. If Jon and Dany die I also don't think their child will rule. westeros already had two child kings in Joffrey and Tommen and neither one of them was a good ruler. Jon and Dany are ruling at the same time as Cersei and I doubt people think that Cersei is learning to rule. Jon and Dany are selfless with a desire to help people and use their power for good. But they are given opportunities to rule and learn and are failing. I think that as GRMM hid the main protaganists (Jon and Dany not Ned and Robb). He is hiding who is learning to rule (Not Jon and Dany, most likely Sansa and Arya). I think the people learning to rule aren't currently ruling. I also think there will be a parallel to Egg and how he hid his identity to learn about the kingdom. Sansa and Arya had to hide their identity but I also think that they are also learning. I think Jon and Dany's role is to defeat the big bad, not rule. I think that is why Jon was resurrected and why Dany has the dragons. I also think that magic comes with a price and that neither Jon or Dany paid the price. I also think that Jon and Dany will need to make a personal sacrifice to defeat the Night King. To me it is logical that there is no Targ restoration. I just don't see it happening. I also think that the Iron Throne or having one ruler for Westeros is tied to the Targs. I think in the end we will have a grand council with the rulers of the various kingdoms working together (I think that is what was filming in Seville).
  13. I am also looking forward to the scenes of pandemonium in KL. I suspect that Team Good Guy will try to evacuate the city, but I don't think they will be able to save most of the inhabitants of KL. The inhabitants of KL are being fucked over by Cersei. They won't have dragonglass weapons, or food or clothing. And I think they will suffer for it. It's the opposite of what I think will happen up North where the leaders are taking the threat seriously and even if Winterfell burns down, I think that loss of lives will be minimized.
  14. My guess is that this scene is the burning of King's Landing and its inhabitants by either dragonfire or wildfire or both.
  15. I think the Tarley execution is more about Dany's acceptance in Westeros than the actual execution itself. The battle in the Reach was the first glimpse that Westerosi (except for Tyrion, Jorah, Jon and Davos) have of Dany. She won the battle but she might have lost the war. Randyll Tarley is a jerk but he was voicing what other Westerosi are probably thinking. He views her as a foreigner and as having no authority over him. He didn't see her as his ruler. Dany views ruling Westeros as her birthright. That doesn't mean that other people care about her claim to the throne. At this point she only has a claim to the throne. And to get the lords to see her as an authority she used fear. She burned the Tarleys and then the other lords bent the knee. I don't think that the lords who bent the knee to her want to be ruled by her. I think they just didn't want to be burned. You need the consent of the people you want to rule to rule but the consent given to her was given under duress. To the soldiers she looked like a tyrant. That battle is the first impression that the Westerosi have of her. I doubt those defeated soldiers see her as a good person.
  16. If King's Landing burns and if it burns through dragonfire and if the population of King's Landing burns as well will Westeros want the Targs to rule.
  17. Tarly is a jerk but I think he was voicing what other people in Westeros was probably thinking. Many Westerosi do view her as a foreigner and do believe she didn't have any authority. She just has a claim to the throne. Many Westerosi don't care about her claim to the throne. This is a world where people feared the direwolf pups in the first book. Many people might not like the full grown dragons. Most people in Westeros don't know Dany. They never met her before. They might only know her by her reputation. Which might not be positive in Westeros. Dany was right to do what she did. But it was bad PR wise. Her father burned people and Dany did too. That might hurt her in the future.
  18. Gendry marrying dany would be interesting but doesn't gendry need to be legitimized first and isnt dany having jon's child. Dany doesnt even need gendry tô cement her rule since she has dragons, dothraki and the unsullied. Most likely gendry and sam will figure out the secrets of valyrian steel or some other weapon, gendry will have some sort of small leadership position, he will reunite with arya, they will rediscover their friendship, fight side by side and maybe start a romance. The only thing I would find unpredictable is the reason why varys saved gendry in the first place. I can't figure out why he did that.
  19. I also think book Tyrion is doomed because of the kinslaying. Its such a big deal in the books. I can't picture book Tyrion having a happy ending. Especially if he is the valanquor because then he killed two members of his family.
  20. I would love option number 4. Brienne definitely deserves a happy ending. I hope that whatever ending Brienne gets, it will be true to her character.
  21. I really don't know who Sansa is going to end up with in the end. They made her relationship with Tyrion on the show more shippy than in the books. And they played up Sandor's relationship with Arya more than with Sansa. But in the books, Sansa desires Sandor more than Tyrion. And an argument can be made that Sandor taking care of Arya might mean something to Sansa. Sansa and Arya don't always get along but Arya is still Sansa's sister and she does love her and she does want her to be safe. And Arya's opinion about Sandor might mean something. But also Tyrion has also been nice to Jon and Jon has a good opinion of Tyrion. I have no clue who Sansa will be with. From the books I would assume Sandor. From the show Tyrion. She might not end up with either. All I know is that Sansa will be reunited with both men and that we will get the conclusion of her story with both men. Personally I'm not invested in Sansa's romantic endgame. I'm fine if she ends up with either Tyrion or Sandor. I think I was soured with her romantic endgame because of Jonsa and now some people want her to end up with Gendry (WTF). But I do want to see a wedding between Jon and Dany. I don't know if they live or die in the end but I'm fairly certain that there will be a wedding.
  22. I'm fairly certain that King's Landing will burn and I think that it will burn with a combination of dragonfire and wildfire. I think that all those people in King's Landing is doomed no matter what. I actually think that Jon or Bran would make the decision to sacrifice King's Landing but I think that Dany will be blamed for it (by Westeros) because she brought the dragons to Westeros. I also think that Dany will make the decision to sacrifice somebody she loves (Jon or baby) to stop the Night King. I have a theory that the reason Rhaegar was spotted filming for season 8 relates to the prophecy and that Rhaegar knew that to save Westeros that his family line will end. It's just a feeling I have and I could be wrong but that is the reason why I think Dany sacrifices her child instead of Jon. Can anybody give me another reason why Rhaegar was filming this season that will be more shocking or organic?
  23. I could see Dany sacrificing her dragons if it is to the benefit of Westeros and that a lot of people won't like it. if Dany fights dirty that will be very interesting. I can see people hating on Dany if she sacrifices Jon's child even if it is for a good reason. Unfortunately some people will hate Dany no matter what she does.
  24. I actually think that Dany will choose to sacrifice herself and her child to end the Long Night. I think that Melisandre's visions are correct. But the visions were about Jon and Dany and not about Stannis. I think that was the reason why she went to Dany and wanted Jon and Dany to get together. I like happy endings and I like Jon and Dany. I would be pleasantly surprised if they rule together and raise a family. But this ending seems predictable and I think that the baby was introduced too soon. Anybody watching at the end of last season will assume that Jon and Dany will have a baby that will rule (especially with the heavy baby anvils). I consider this ending an interesting ending. But it is also dark, depressing and bitter. And many people won't be happy with it or like it. I don't like it. And if this is Dany's ending I can see why Emilia wasn't happy about it. But I also consider that Dany is sacrificing herself so that her people can have a better future (which a good leader would do). Even though sacrificing herself will be a hard decision for Dany, I consider it heroic and selfless on her part. God, I hope I'm wrong. I would rather see Dany and Jon raise their children in Essos. But for some reason I can't see that happening.
  25. When I meant Blackwater I meant that Sansa will try to help the people who rely on her and not leave them to their own devices. She will try to get as many people out of Winterfell before it burns most likely when everybody else is fighting. As I think that King's Landing also burns down and that Cersei will leave before that happens and leave the population in King's Landing to their own devices. I think that even though Winterfell burns down that Jon and Co (including Sansa) will try to minimize loss of life. I think that if King's Landing burns down (most likely because of Checkov's wildfire) that the population in King's Landing will suffer and that Jon and Co couldn't save them. As I recall during Blackwater, Sansa put her own scared feelings aside to calm the other ladies and Lancel while Cersei threatened her life if they lose and left the scene. I know that right now everybody is in survival mode, but I still think that politics will play a role. And Tyrion was wrong about Cersei. And Dany might not rely on his advise anymore but I don't think that Tyrion was wrong about everything. Tyrion was correct that Dany does need a succession plan if she doesn't want the next ruler to reverse her policies. And I think that Tyrion was right about Dany burning the Tarleys because it is bad PR for her. She not only killed father and son together (like what Aerys did to Rickard and Brandon Stark) drawing parallels to her "Mad King" father but she used dragon fire to do it. Randyll was a jerk and both him and Dickon was stupid to not bend the knee after Dany defeated them. But that decision can haunt her later especially since she wants to rule. And I know that politics and PR shouldn't be the only consideration and should be balanced with other factors but it can't be dismissed either.
