A lot of these child stars go through hell. At least Raven-Symoné came out with a career in adulthood. She said a lot of stupid crap on The View, sure, but that aside, she's still been successful in her own right.

Yep. My dad used to tell me stories about my grandpa being called “boy” by white people - police officers, cashiers, all of them. This happened in a small town in Virginia back in the 50s even though my grandpa was an adult. It was meant to degrade and humiliate black men.

But talking about dating your daughter or how she has a nice figure is much, much different than simply saying your daughter is beautiful. Ew. Just... ugh, no.

Yeah, I think if you've never heard any of the other comments he's made about Ivanka aside from the one he made on the show, maybe you could chalk it up to him just making a really, really bad joke. But then when you hear everything else he's said about her... it's very creepy and weird. Nope, as far as I know she's never addressed any of the comments. She did laugh it off on the show.

Ohh yeah I completely forgot about that! She was the guest that day. And yes, Raven didn't have a comeback. If Ann Coulter can shut you up with a good point, there might be a problem.

I keep remembering random wtf moments, lol. One time they were talking about being judged based on your name, particularly people of color. It was in reference to a YouTube video talking about "ghetto black names" (those were the words used). Raven-Symoné said she'd be "discriminatory" against someone with a name like Watermelondrea (her example) and that she wouldn't hire someone with that name. I remember being pissed off because 1) she's a woman of color and should know better and 2) it was just plain ignorant. On a superficial note she had the nerve to say that while looking like this: Seriously though, it's a real problem for women of color - not being hired due to their name or their hairstyle. I remember years ago getting tips from a white woman and lawyer about appropriate attire for a job interview as a paralegal. I had long synthetic box braids at the time and she recommended I change the hair style because the lawyer at the firm was an older conservative white dude who would probably be put off by it (she didn't mind my hair at all, but it wasn't her firm). Point being, Raven-Symoné was very often ignorant on the show. I guess being rich for so long makes some of these celebrities forget the plight of real people in real life...

The time Kelly Osbourne was on and they were talking about Trump's immigration policies. She said something along the lines of, "If Trump deports Latinos, who's going to clean your toilets?" Everybody was uncomfortable. She apologized later, of course. At the moment though I was like wtf, Kelly?

The time Trump and Ivanka were on the show and he said she had a nice figure and that if she wasn't his daughter, he'd probably be dating her.

Can you just imagine Meghan trying go toe-to-toe with Angela Rye? Whew... Angela would rip Meghan a new one.

Was this on last night's show? I fell asleep before it came on and haven't watched the YouTube clips yet. Perez said the same exact thing this morning on a radio show I was listening to when he was talking about the 2020 Dem nominees.

Did you notice how hard Whoopi laughed when Meghan said she only watched Trump's rally because it came on after Real Housewives? It wasn't that damn funny, Whoopi.

Well since Joy said that, it makes me think even she's somewhat complicit in allowing Meghan to behave in the way that she does. Or maybe at this point she doesn't think anything will change so what does it matter? Either way, it's disappointing.

I also didn't hear Joy say that, wow. Yeah, maybe it's time to just read the comments here and not watch for awhile.

I'll take a day or two break, come back and watch and then something like this happens, which makes me wonder why I'm watching at all. It's gone off the deep end and I really only watch because of Joy at this point.

I love Joy but sorry, not buying the whole "we get along back stage" thing. It was mostly Meghan insisting they get along and everything is hunky-dory anyway. And she said she loves fighting with Joy. It's uncomfortable for most viewers and I'm tired of seeing it. Also, telling viewers we shouldn't watch if we don't like it? Really? Smh.

Wasn't she just talking about respecting her elders a few weeks ago? Obviously she has zero respect for her elders. Joy literally asked her a simple question: what do Trump supporters hate? She didn't yell, like at all. Instead of answering, Meghan became ridiculously irritated. It was so stupid. I laughed though when Meghan said, "I know you're angry," and Joy calmly said, "you're right, I'm angry." LOL.

Great thread! As @TheGreenKnight said, there are soooo many wtf moments. Thankfully you all have already mentioned many of them... Just off the top of my head is the very heated exchange between Jeanine Pirro and Whoopi. The following day Whoopi verified the rumors about Jeanine being pissed because Joy wasn't there. I remember seeing the line-up for that week and I knew Pirro was gonna start some mess. Did they think bat-shit crazy Jeanine was going to suddenly turn sane for a 5-10 minute segment on a morning talk show? Also, whenever Whoopi passes gas on national television.

I just don't remember him being like this the last time he was on, but y'all are probably right - he's more than likely tired and/or high, lmao.
