  1. Me too. I thought it was going to get stolen from the car when they were in the store though. So, Daniel had feelings for Elora... In the episode where it showed them dancing, I got the impression she had a thing for him and it's sad that apparently they both felt the same but nothing happened.
  2. I definitely agree. But it was another one that I wished was longer. There had been certain episodes like this one and the Cheese centric one where I wanted another ten minutes or so. It's not that I think there was anything missing necessarily but that it was so good I just wanted more.
  3. The more episodes we get it really hits home that Cookie's death was to that generation what Daniel's was to the kids. The moment where nothing will ever be the same again and the pain and aftermath can either separate or bring them together. The kids are still in the midst of figuring out which way it will go.
  4. It seemed like Elora and Daniel were in a similar position of not having much support in their home lives. So when Daniel died she not only lost one of her closest friends but the person who understood what it was like to essentially be alone. That's what I don't think Bear understands. Even when his Dad disappointed him by failing to show up, he still had his Mom there waiting to comfort and love him. And until Bear can see that it wasn't about Elora simply ditching him then I'm not sure they'll work things out very quickly.
  5. That's what kept me from being completely disappointed about Rita/Sam. It was ultimately more important for Teenie and Rita to have the conversation and time together that they did.
  6. I was bummed Rita misread the scene at the bar between Sam and that woman. He seemed like a good guy and it sucks that both him and Rita left with a wrong impression of the other's interest.
  7. I liked the show once I got past thinking it was just Hart of Dixie in a different location. There were times when it seemed like there were too many things going on at once and I think Mel's backstory didn't need to be so tragic but there were definitely enough positives to get past those few critiques.
  8. I know. Last season I probably wouldn't have cared if it got cancelled but this season has been good. It finally feels like the show it was aiming to be and I really hope we get another year.
  9. I almost asked the same thing above. I don't remember hearing any real explanation for why Angel ended up where he did.
  10. That was my exact thought and I'm guessing Nestor might be an ally down the road. It'll be interesting to see if Emily is put in the crosshairs as being the reason things have changed. I agree. It's the thing that keeps me from despising Angel. As insufferable as he is at times, knowing your own father was part of something that could have gotten you killed is huge. And it's not like the secret about EZ is ever going to go away, someone could find out at any time and Angel was absolutely right that the club would assume he'd known the whole time. Alvarez leaving the club for the cartel was surprising. As weird as it sounds since it's called Mayans MC, but I feel like I know next to nothing about him from this show.
  11. I really dislike Potter and EZ should have known better than to really think he was going to be free. Of course Potter was going to use what he did against him in one way or another. I'm kinda torn on how I feel about Angel. On one hand I get why he feels so betrayed by his family - finding out what was going on behind his back when the truth could mean his death is a huge thing. But then I sort of wish EZ would punch him a few times just for the heck of it. Nestor's bubble being burst on moving up in the cartel bummed me out. Purely shallow reasoning but I love that dude and his awesome hair.
  12. Emily is a bit of a question mark for me. She's definitely not who I thought she was in the beginning of the season so I'm curious to see what happens from here. With Devante out of the picture it's obviously not going to go the route of her being in danger from him. So now my new theory is Miguel and Luisa will get a little too close which will push Emily back into EZ's life.
  13. It seems like EZ spends his time cleaning up after member's not the club. When he inevitably gets out of this mess he needs to tell Coco to babysit his own kid cause that girl's trouble. Nice she confessed but a little too late.
  14. I think Adelita's being practical in realizing there's no way to eliminate the cartels. Getting rid of Galindo would only mean someone else would move in on his territory and there's no guarantee they wouldn't be ten times worse. The uncle will be a problem I'm guessing. He wants things bloody and seems to be the driving force behind Miguel being the most ruthless.
  15. I don't really get a good feeling about her. There's a lot of manipulation going on but in a way it is understandable to a point given who raised her. However, I just don't have a ton of hope that this will turn out well for Coco.
  16. I thought this was an interesting episode. So many parts being connected is definitely helping and it kind of makes me wish they would have held off on the DEA stuff for another episode or two. I'm absolutely adoring EZ. Too good of a guy to be caught up in all this BS.
  17. That was what I fully expected to happen. In the least I expected there to be some sort of trap at the warehouse.
  18. When Angel said he got involved with the rebels to save his club it rang false. We've barely seen anything that would indicate he cared that much about the club. Now if he'd simply said he didn't want to be at the mercy of the cartel, okay.
  19. For a show called Mayans MC, you'd think the whole club thing would be more important to the storylines. That being said, I still think the show has potential. If they could maybe drop one story and focus in a bit more it would help. I like EZ and his devotion to Emily so I'm hoping she's not as untrustworthy as she seems.
  20. Coco's life is what made me start wondering about the strength of the Mayan brotherhood. Aren't they supposed to pretty much know everything about each other? I thought the MC was #1 in your life and everything else secondary, so them not knowing basics about him was strange. But like was mentioned above, we were given the origin story for SAMCRO and until we get something like that for the Mayans it's just a big question.
  21. I wonder who's really running the Galindo cartel, Miguel or the uncle? And I'm guessing if Emily continues to have opinions she'll be deemed a threat by the uncle. And I can't help feeling like the pacing is still off. What we needed was more backstory, which I'm glad we're getting. What wasn't needed yet was the new threat from the fatigue guy. I've tried my best not to compare to SOA and for the most part I'm doing well but the one thing I feel is missing is the bond of the club. Finding out there are "traitors" in the group wasn't as big of a deal as it could have been because I don't believe their investment in each other. I don't see the brothers till death thing I thought was supposed to be the point.
  22. I'm curious to see where the Galindo stuff goes given the behind the scenes manipulation. The uncle and Galindo seem to have very different ideas about family. And like SOA this could definitely be a show that might not have any actual "good" characters by the end, just varying shades of guilt.
  23. Surprisingly I didn't find myself comparing it to SOA much even with the scattered reminders. I really enjoyed the first episode and thought EZ is a promising character. That being said, I thought things seemed a bit rushed. Like we found out too many things all at once. The DEA guy, EZ's old love being with the cartel leader, his brother helping the cartel's enemy... I don't think it would have hurt if we hadn't gotten all that information just yet.
  24. I thought of Top Chef when he said that. I distinctly remember one of the female chefs talking about making men cry and she was darn proud of it.
  25. I don't want to see Leon go but I'm sure that's probably where it's headed. If I thought Kate's attitude towards him was based solely on their miscommunications it would be one thing but it's such a big issue to her that he worked on a cruise ship.
