It must have been Satan that told JB to hire lawyers for J’inmate, ya know, testing him and all that. But god wanted J’inmate to spread the word more or some such nonsense. The truth of him just being guilty isn’t something JB or Anna can accept.

So Jill pushes Plexus, a lying liar company? I’m shocked, lol.

I’m sure he wouldn’t look twice at someone with blue hair or “nasty, ugly” piercings, but Jill and her giant brood with their matching long dresses and identical long hair do resemble a polygamous cult of sister wives (not you, Jill). Granted, it’s not nice to assume and it was at most, an impolite question, but no more impolite than shoving religious pamphlets at strangers or any of the other rude things she does.
It wouldn’t be a surprise to find out the “gruff” man merely asked Jill if they were some sort of group since they were dressed alike. And since she always feels persecuted, she immediately heard cult.

And why does Carlin have to whine in every post with the kids about how she’s going to miss these times or how can they be so old already?

And why do they need to abuse animals when Travis is already wealthy?
I think Travis’s mom also breeds dogs so they probably see it as any easy cash inflow. Poor Remi.

Alyssa posted a new video. It's a sales pitch for Hello Fresh disguised as a homeschool routine video, and oof, the comments are not good. For those who don't watch her channel, last week Allie said she doesn't enjoy homeschooling. Based on the way she said it, you got the sense it was a recurring feeling rather than a kid having an off day. So of course, Alyssa is in damage control mode, showing a happy, harmonious bunch showing off their workbooks and schedules and loving it!!!!!
Anyways, people are calling her out, saying it's sad the girls can't go to regular school and that Allie's wishes aren't being acknowledged. I'm curious to see if Alyssa will let the comments stand or if she'll start deleting.
One thing for sure, none of those girls will be in any school but the homeschool. It will be interesting to see if Alyssa can get 5 kids ready one day a week for co-op.

Smh..why? Just why? Unless you've got to move because of a job or something, why would you take a newborn on the road like that? 🤦♀️
Joy had her newborn on this trip too! After all you know the Duggars do things a little different.

Jill's lies don't even sound real. Families have photo shoots in public places. Families dress alike in these photos. The dresses they were wearing absolutely do not scream cult, maybe ugly, maybe Temu, but not cult. There was no gruff man - full stop.
SHP called out Jill for being part of a cult, not some fake random man peeking out his window. Jill spends an awful lot of time trying to convince
herselfothers they are not this or that. Wouldn't a true evangelical be posting uniting Biblical quotes? Wouldn't a true evangelical call attention to OTHERS in need in their posts? Jill was all about her little storm that knocked down a sign in her yard, but has she recently mentioned Hawaii?Jill is the poster child for "sinning".
Who was the photographer in these photos? Probably Timbits or Philly, I’m sure Dave was too busy with the map. And in the manly man photos, why isn’t Dave in any of the pictures? Isn’t he manly enough? Jill however must insert herself in the girlie group, after all they are BFF besties.

I’ve never known anyone who does more photo shoots than JillyBean. Everyday it’s time for posed photos! She’s really quite the lying liar too.

I thought Evan enacted a no eating in the Tesla edict.
Which I’m sure was revised the first time Layla asked for a cake pop at the coffee joint or wherever they stopped at a drive through. C&E probably don’t miss a day going through some drive through between Stbx drinks, lunch, more Stbx drinks and dinner.

Katie and family are in Nashville, looks like Travis was recording a song. Katie posted a picture of Hailey with Law & Tiff. How did Carlin miss this? Why did C& E pick this week for their first family vacation alone? No one wanted to go with them? Did Zac or Whit tell the Stew Crew they would be on maternity leave after this weekend and the big BSB sale so last opportunity for C & E to get away? So many questions, lol.

I don't think W&Z went on this trip. Whitney posted today about crap arriving at home that's going into the girls' bedroom.
I think in prior years they have gone with W&Z to the beach for vacation. But they go on so many trips they probably forgot that time. I guess C&E think they are more relatable if they use a cutsey phrase like “first family vacation without grandparents”. Not.

I don't know, but he worked for a junkyard or something for the first couple of years in TN.
Oh oops, they're expecting their 6th kid.
Didn’t he do some kind of office work before Paine Construction? Then he trained Bobby for the job before Kelton hired Bobby to be office guy for his plumbing business. It’s very sad that I remember this……

Oh I loved the newer version of The Forsyte Saga! I didn't realize how awful Damian Lewis was in that show and was rather deeply shaken to see him be so off-putting after being introduced to him in Band of Brothers, though he was very good at it. It prepared me emotionally for Wolf Hall several years later. 😆
I still haven't read the books or watched the older one. I occasionally check the books out from the library where I work but never have gotten around to reading them. (I do this a lot. LOL I see it as a duty to the books to ensure they have circulations. 😂)
A rather young Zella believed lingerie to be pronounced ling-uh-reen-ee. 😂😂😂 Not sure where I picked up the extra consonant.
Yes, Damian Lewis was awesome. Love Gina McKee too. The newer version is gorgeous as it’s in color. I’m old enough to have seen the original series back in the 60’s on PBS but it was in black and white.
Sometimes the way I pronounce a word in my head whilst reading means I don’t recognize the word when spoken, lol.

This discussion reminds me of my favorite PBS show, The Forsyth Saga. Loved the books, the original and the remake series. I may have to go search and see if it’s on Prime or not.

12 minutes ago, Jeeves said:I read the opinion issued today by the U S Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit in the appeal filed by J’inmate (aka Appellant). Here’s a quick drive-by, in case anybody wants to know. Just scroll on past if you don’t.
Appellant raised three issues on appeal. The Eighth Circuit found against him on all three. They were:
FIRST ISSUE: Appellant claimed that the trial court deprived him of his right to present a complete defense when it ruled that although he could call a prior employee – Caleb Williams - as a witness, he couldn’t ask Caleb about, or introduce evidence of, Caleb’s prior sex-offense conviction. The defense didn't call the witness at all, apparently because of that ruling. The appeals court ruled that the district court had “unquestionably constitutional” discretion to prohibit inquiry into the witness’ sex-offense conviction on the grounds that such evidence would present the danger of confusing the issues.
The legal point here is that generally, a witness may be impeached by introduction of a prior felony conviction. However, that prior conviction is only for the purpose of casting doubt on the witness’s credibility. IOW, “you can consider the fact that she was convicted of felony theft when deciding if you believe she testified truthfully here.” However, under circumstances of this case, the danger of introducing Caleb’s prior conviction would be that the “jury might think he did it because he was a sex offender, even though the conviction was only potentially admissible as impeachment evidence.”
SECOND ISSUE: Appellant argued that his incriminating statements during the search at the car dealership should have been suppressed. The appellate court reviewed and analyzed this extensively in the opinion, and ruled that under the circumstances, not only was Appellant not in custody, a reasonable person would not have thought he was in custody, and therefore his right to counsel had not attached, and the statements were admissible.
Fun factoid: Although he wasn’t arrested or otherwise restrained by the federal agents on the scene, they did read him his Miranda rights, I suppose in an abundance of caution. The court said “But when Duggar signed a form acknowledging his rights, he had the agents ‘scratch . . . out’ the portion saying that he was being ‘taken into custody.’ Modifying the form made it clear he was free to leave.” The extra fun part is that the court opinion then includes the image of the final para of the form, with the scratchouts and J’inmate’s signature. Heh. The big issue about admissibility of statements like this, is whether the suspect was in custody – or reasonably thought they were. I’m still chuckling about J’inmate scratching out the custodial language - and then his lawyers having to pursue this loser issue of admissibility clear up to the Eighth Circuit. I’m sure he thought he was showing those agents how smart he was.
THIRD ISSUE: Appellant challenged the government’s analyst’s qualifications and methods, and the limitations placed on the defense expert witness, regarding the testimony about the metadata in Appellant’s iPhone. That information placed him firmly at the dealership at the time the CSAM was downloaded. The court found the trial court didn’t err in allowing the government’s analyst to testify, nor in limiting the defense expert’s testimony. BTW, the court noted “it would have been ‘pure conjecture’ for her [the defense expert witness] to suggest there were errors in metadata she never examined.”
FOOTNOTE: In case anyone wondered, the term “router” doesn’t appear in the opinion. I ran a search, just to be sure.
Thank for summarizing all that. Hopefully this is the last ditch effort and J’appellent can enjoy the rest of his sentence. Now that we know he won’t be released anytime soon, will Anna’s situation change?

Well Carlin the skin care products influencer looked sunburnt too, so maybe that’s why they always go on vacation with others. They must need someone else to monitor sunscreen and amount of sun exposure.

I just read her obituary and clicked on the attached link for the GoFundMe that is meant to support her surviving children and husband.
The GFM goal amount is one million dollars.Any sign of donations from the Duggars? We all know how generous they are! Wasn’t he-who-we-don’t-name giving $$$ to some widow lady and she wrote a letter praising him before his sentencing?

To be honest, while the prismacolors are definitely a cut above when it comes to the pigment, the smoothness, blendability, etc, most colored pencils will do the job if you just sort of want to doodle. The first time I tried using them to do an actual drawing, all I had was my kids' Crayolas (this was QUITE some time ago), and I produced this drawing of an egret. I don't use this medium all that often there days, and when I do it's mostly portrait work. The second drawing here is still quite a work in progress (ignore the hands...I'm still struggling with those), of my granddaughter, done with prismacolors.
Love the sketch of your granddaughter, she looks like a sweetheart.

YMMV, but I 100% think that none of the Duggars pays income taxes. Jill and Jinger may because Derick and RFP may not be in the habit of avoiding taxes, and they may make enough money on SM to be taxable.
All of the Duggar sons have LLCs, and I'm sure that they have an accountant who pays any taxes on those, but my guess is that if they draw any "salary" at all from those companies, it's all very small. If their SM income is taxable, the total that they are earning is not -- I doubt they earn more than 10K per year from SM, and I doubt that they pay any taxes on that income.
LLC net income passes to the individual members of the LLC and is taxed on the individual 1040 tax return. It’s more likely that money is moved all around the various LLC’s by the accountant, probably at JB’s instruction, and no LLC shows more than bare minimum of net income. And each individual probably only reports enough income on their 1040 to claim various credits but end up paying zero taxes. Derick receives a W2 for his earnings, much harder to avoid taxes in his case.

Jill has more random strangers quizzing her or commenting on her than a celebrity. But this all happens in JillR’s mind and is usually in response to some slight she has blown into persecution.
